It was a dark and cold October night in New York city, a young girl with blond hair, with blue eyes was seen walking throughout the city. The girl was currently returning home after leaving her friend's party. It was suppose to be a innocent, small party but it seemed her friend decided to change it up a bit. Her friend decided to bring some boys in and the boys decided to bring some drinks with them as well. Once the boys started to drink to much, she decided it was her cue to leave immediately.

As the girl was walking down the street, she decided to take the long way home to clear her thoughts but it was a mistake. After she walked down a couple of blocks, she started to hear the sound of footsteps behind her. The girl told herself it was probably someone returning home late from work. Then after a walking down a few more blocks, the sound of footsteps  were still behind her but this time it seemed to be getting closer so she picked up her pace. The person behind her did as well.

The buildings around here became a blur as she sprinted down the block. Her blue eyes frantically shifted left and right for an exit, knowing the person behind her was close by. Her eyes finally spotted a few feet in front of her. She sprinted as fast as should could until she slowed down as she turned into the exit. She regretted it instantly, it wasn't an exit but a dead end. She stared at the brick wall in front of her as all hope was lost to escape. She froze when she heard the person's footsteps caught up with her. The girl turned to look at her chaser.

The person in front of her wore dark clothing with dark brown boots. The person also wore a black cloak with matching black gloves .  The person's put up the cloak's hood so it shadowed over the person's face to keep their identity hidden from her view. Due to the person's appearance, The girl guessed the person was a guy.  The man soon stopped a few feet away from where she currently stood. The man soon put his hand in his back pocket, pulling something out with a click.  The girl looked at what the person pulled out and froze. It was a gun.

Her mind screamed at her to run but her body would not budge. The girl tried to scream but it came out soundless. The male soon pointed the gun straight at her, ready to shoot but the guy suddenly  stopped. The man look at her and said two words that made her eyes widen. She tried to say something but it was too late, the man pulled the trigger.

The sound of a gun shot rang throughout the city.  The girl soon found herself laying on the ground, looking at night sky. The words the person echoed in her mind. I'm sorry he had said to her. Those words were the last things she remembered before darkness overwhelmed her.

The girl's body was found in a alleyway  the very next day. The girl's body had bullet wound to the chest. Reporters say that a young boy had contacted the police after finding the girl's dead body. The boy seemed clearly upset over the deal. The boy disappeared after being questioned by the police. No one has seen the boy ever since the event happened. The detectives who were currently trying to find out the girl's death soon decided that it was murder due to the lack of evidence and closed the case.  No one still knows what happened on that day. either it was murder or a suicide, we will never find out.
