We've been in sorrento for two days already and it's been so much fun, weve been shopping, had ice-cream, been to the beach and the hotel pool. Last night I didn't go bed untill late, I've been having lower stomach pains on the right side and it's been so painful. If I'm honest it doesn't feel like anything I've felt before, the pains more intense. I guess the pain started yesterday morning but it was more in the middle of my stomach so I just thought the usual, I thought I was just getting my Period but no it isn't that. I finally fell asleep at 3am which made me extra tired when Erika woke me up at 8am so we could go meet Anna, Jonathan, the kids and mum for breakfast. We would be meeting them at half past and I didn't want to have a shower this morning, I was in ok much pain.

I went into the bathroom in our hotel room and splashed my face with cold water hoping it would wake me up which it does but I still feel like crap. I walked slowly back into my hotel room and grumbled in pain. I opened the wardrobe and searched for a outfit, I didn't know what I wanted to wear I just something cute but comfortable. When I had found the outfit I wanted to wear I removed my pyjamas and began to get dressed. I started by putting a pure white scared skirt on along with a cream 'Love It' crop top which went rather well with the skirt. I sat down in front of the vanity in the room and simply put my hair into a messy bun, I couldn't be bothered to do much with it today. I clipped a pair of Ice-cream earrings to my ears, a beach charm bracelet to my wrist and a 'April showers' pastel necklace to my neck. While sitting in front of my vanity I chose my 'Beach Hair Don't Care' beach phone case. I finally grabbed my Daisy studded sunglasses slipping them onto my forehead and added my between the toe sandals to me feet to complete my outfit.

I was finally ready to leave my room so I grabbed my 'Beach Hair Don't Care' beach bag and left the room greeting my older sister as I do so.

"Morning Sara, are you alright. You don't look too good?" Erika asked me sounding rather concerned. Why she was concerned was beyond me, why would I know.

"I've just got alittle pain in my stomach, I've had it since yesterday" I shrugged getting a worrying look from my sister, she placed her hand on my forehead and frowned slightly

"We'll see how you are after breakfast" Erika nodded, I joined her as we met mum before the three of us headed to Anna, Jonathan and the kids room to meet them before the seven of us were going to head to have breakfast. Erika locked our hotel door as we left and knocked on mums who was next door. Mum came out to us.

"Ready to go mum?" I asked trying to push the pain i was in to the back of my thoughts but as I walked it sent an pain right through my stomach, honestly it was worse than when I'm sitting down or even laying down.

"Yes, you alright Sara?" Mum ask seeing the pain in my eyes. I slowly nodded to make out I was but it was probably obvious I was lying. Mum decided to drop the subject and we walked down the corridor towards Anna's hotel room. I knocked on the door and was greeted by a Vlogging Jonathan and a bouncy Emilia who jumped into my arms causing my to grown in pain.

"Sorry Sara" Emilia apologised once she saw i was hurt

"Hey Missy it's not your fault, I'm just fragile today" I smiled to my niece reassuring her that she didn't hurt me. We all went into the room waiting for Anna to finish getting ready. Once Anna was ready we went down to have breakfast. The pain I was in felt so unreal. We went for lunch and sat at a table. I didn't want to eat but mum made me so I ate a few mouthful of the porridge I didn't feel well after eating. Once we had breakfast we made our way to the beach, or should I say we were heading their when I collapsed.

"Seraphina!" I heard Erika speak as I was coming round. I was in so much pain by now

"It's alright Sara were phoning for help now" mum spoke as I opened my eyes, Erika was knelt down next to me, mum was phoning for help, Anna was stood next to mum an Jonathan was probably taking Emilia and Eduardo to the beach so they didn't have to see me like this. It felt like hours but soon an ambulance had pulled up and I was being taken to a Italian hospital which only looked a little different to the ones in Ireland and England.

"This is Seraphina Saccone, she's 13 years old, has been suffering from pains in the abdomen since yesterday. Collapsed outside the hotel" the paramedics spoke as I was being pushed to a side Ward.

"Okay get me a CT scan and a ultra sound on order" the doctor spoke

"Alright seraphina I'm going to need to run some, could I have your arm please" the doctor smiled and I moved my arm as he took my Blood Pressure and my pulse which he said they were higher than they should be he continued to do tests before I went for the CT scan. A hour later we were still waiting for the results of the scan and all the tests.

"So we have the results back, we will have to take you your surgery, the scans have shown your appendix has burst and if we don't take you down as soon as possible then it could be life threatening" the doctors explained to me, mum, Erika and Anna. Mum nodded and immediately signed the papers for me to go for the operation. 'What a way to spend my holiday with the family' I think to myself as Im taken to theatre.

A hour and half later I was in recovery after just waking up after the operation. It was painful but at least I wasn't in the pain from the appendix. I was being pushed back to the ward and I smiled weakly as I saw mum and Erika.

"Hey princess, how you feeling?" Mum asked me and I shrugged, all I wanted to do was sleep but that's probably because of the anaesthetic.

"How about we go and leave you for a few hours and come back later with your cloths and some food?" Mum suggested and I nodded, kissing my mum and sister goodbye and closing my eyes as I fell asleep. the afternoon came around and I was awake mum, Erika, Anna, Jonathan aswell as Emilia and Eduardo have came to visit me. I had my pyjamas brought and helped to change into them since I was being kept in until tomorrow.

"This is going to be the worst holiday ever" I sighed heavily as I ate a little of the sandwich mum brought back. It was nice and I enjoyed it but it did make me feel alittle sick. They stayed with me untill visiting times was over and I was left all on my own. Hugo had started texting me not long ago but it was nice to have my French best friend texting me.

I put my phone down on charge next to the bed and closed my eyes. It was safe to say I was knackered and almost instantly fell asleep.
