Did anybody else's childhood greatly involve the 2006 animated Pixar movie Cars?

Funny story

While I was at work the other night washing dishes

My brain came up with a Gravity Falls/Cars crossover

So I hope you guys like Cars as much as I do (seriously it's one of the fundamental movies of my life)

Note: This has absolutely nothing to do with Cars 2 because that movie was a terrible sequel. Not a bad movie, but a terrible sequel.

Here goes:

Lightning McQueen: Dipper 

Radiator Springs Residents

Sally: Pacifica

Mater: Soos (this is the first crossover idea I had before everything else fell into place)

Doc: Ford

Sheriff: Stan

Flo: Mabel

Ramone: Mermando

Luigi: Sheriff Blubbs (except I guess he's not sheriff anymore cuz Stan is)

Guido: Deputy Durland

Lizzie: Old Man McGucket

Sarge: Grenda

Filmore: Candy

Red: Tyler Cutebiker

Bessie: Lazy Susan  

Piston Cup Affiliates

The King: Wendy

Chick Hicks: Gideon

Mack: Pizza Guy (...just for looks honestly)

Darrell Cartrip: Toby Determined

Bob Cutlass: Shandra Jimenez

Mia and Tia: Pacifica's friends (you know, the pair with one voiced by Ariel Hirsch)

Delinquent Road Hazards

Boost: Robbie

Wingo: Nate

DJ: Lee

Snot Rod: Thompson

I tweaked the Gravity Falls characters to fit the Cars characters, so some of them are a little loose, but here's what I really like about it:

The Pterodactyl Bros are back with Dipper as McQueen and Soos as Mater

Sally was a rich girl that ran away to a small town, and I love putting Pacifica in that context (instead of rich girl ruling a small town)

Wendy as the star of the racing world, giving advice to young and reckless Dipper, and then being saved by him in the end 

And then Gideon as Chick Hicks because they're basically the same

FORD AS DOC. IT'S JUST. SO PERFECT. BECAUSE. DIPPER LOOKS UP TO FORD. BUT HE'S ALL LIKE "IT'S TOO DANGEROUS." BUT THEN LATER OFFERS HIM THE APPRENTICESHIP. AND WHEN MCQUEEN FINDS OUT. ABOUT DOC. HE REALLY LOOKS UP TO HIM. BUT DOC'S ALL "I HATE THE RACING COMMUNITY." BUT THEN LATER HE BECOMES HIS COACH. IT'S JUST SO PERFECT.

Stan as the Sheriff ("Got a good peek, city boy?")

Mabel as Flo ("Oh, I got gas! Lots of gas!")

And I'm pretty sure Mermando and Ramone even have similar voices, plus shippy ship

McGucket as the senile elder, albeit genderbent ("And she asked me again and I said no. But oh, she was a persistent bugger for a two-cylinder. So finally I said fine, one little drive.")

The teens as the delinquents - though I couldn't find a spot for Tambry, and it means separating Wendy from them by like a generation. Ah well. The Snot Rod/Thompson comparison was too great to pass up.

And finally

(*bursts into tears and drives away knocking over a pile of tires*)

Idk why it's so perfect but it is
