"Jayfeather, come here Squirrelflight is kitting!" Shouted Bramblestar the clan leader.
"Hold on, I coming," shouted Jayfeather, "Can't a blind cat take his time," mumbled Jayfeather.
Squirrelflight was lying on her side panting heavily, her belly swollen with kits.
"Squirrelflight, here's a stick, when I say bite, bite," Jayfeather instructed.
Squirrelflight bit down and two kits came out.
"That's it, good job Squirrelflight," said Jayfeather, "I'll leave you and Bramblestar together alone."
"What are their names?" Asked Bramblestar.
"Sparkkit and Alderkit," Squirrelflight explained.
"What lovely names," replied Bramblestar.
