Ring the darkness in, so that light may enter

Let the celebrations begin,

For we have conquered

The foe residing within.


 The whisperer of the deep

That keeps us from moving forward,

And acknowledging what we need.


We need a wee bit of courage

And fearlessness too. 

Not to forget empathy, kindness

And lots of compassion anew.


We have to learn to look forward

From the darkness in our lives,

Trudging towards the light

Till we shine.


It's not going to be easy

But then some things are worth the wait, 

Success is not only destiny

But the result of sacrifices made.
