Learn from the rose, how it always blooms
Spreading happiness through the gloom,
Though by night, it'll wither away to its doom.
Learn from the birds, how they soar their wings
Propelling the skies with their curiousness
Even though they always return to their nest.
Learn from the leaves how they sway
Playing with the breezes,
Even though they are swept away.
Learn from the stars how they shine
Guiding gazillions through the night,
Even though they are replaced by the morning light.
Learn from the water as it flows
Making inroads wherever it goes,
Even though it is just a bunch of droplets.
Learn from fire how as a spark
Ignites the flames dwelling in our heart,
Teaching us to be on the go
Searing the grounds with its glow,
Burns away the ego within
Until nothing is left but the beginning,
Pure and true--and that's where we start anew.
