Chapter 2.

SuA went to the center to work as usual, she went to the coffee and cake shop near the center to have breakfast. In the past, sometimes JiU would come to have breakfast with her, or Dami, a friend of JiU's but over the years, is also very close to SuA.

But after that incident, SuA has no reason to play with JiU's friends anymore. For the past few years, she has been surrounded by JiU and the people in JiU’s influence, JiU is like a bridge, without JiU, she seems to have lost all her friends.

While enjoying breakfast alone with a glass of cool orange juice, SuA felt someone near, she looked up.

As a person who is not an employee of the art center.

It was the girl from the other day standing next to Handong, her boss's ex-lover.

But what's that girl’s name? SuA forgot.

- Hi SuA, I'm Lee Siyeon, remember? - Siyeon smiled friendly.

- Oh, hello Siyeon - SuA smiled back.

- Do you sit alone? Can I sit with you?

- Okay, please sit down - SuA gestured to the opposite chair.

Siyeon sat down with a cup of iced coffee. SuA thoughtfully looked at the other person from head to toe, basically she was tired from the previous meeting, so she couldn't look closely.

Lee Siyeon has a rather cold aura, but when she smiles, she has the opposite feeling, extremely cute. She has long black hair and flat bangs, eyes like a wild cat, quite like a Japanese, full dark red lips, long slender fingers. The style of dress is also very stylish, she is wearing gray jeans, a black turtleneck sweater, revealing half of her bust and seductive collarbones.

- Do you sit here every morning?

Siyeon's question awakened SuA from endless thoughts.

- Sometimes I have breakfast at home. And you, did you come to see Handong?

- Ah, um, that's right, but Dong hasn't come yet so I have to wait - Siyeon quickly made up an excuse.

- Do you two often meet in the morning? – SuA asked while eating.

- Not very often, but recently Chenle has more morning classes so we need to meet to discuss some things - Siyeon followed the story smoothly.

SuA nodded and smiled and then there were no more questions. Siyeon was happy in her heart, she was just passing by but found this person here, really lucky. For the past few days, she has been wandering around this area hoping to see SuA again, but she didn't meet SuA until today.

- Are you in a better mood these days? - Siyeon asked.

- …………. – SuA mused as if she didn't understand.

- Last time I saw you, you looked a bit sad.

- Ah, it's because of lack of sleep - SuA closed her mouth and continued to eat.

Siyeon mused, Kim SuA seems to be in a bad mood.

- So, how was your sleep last night?

- Well, it's a little better - SuA replied casually.

- So you have insomnia?

- No, I've had a lot of things to think about lately, so it's a bit difficult to sleep.

- You know the show Youngstreet radio broadcasts at midnight? Listening to it also helps a bit, the show is DJed by singer Wendy.

- Oh, I also heard about this show, I know Wendy, I went to her concert once, she is very pretty and talented – SuA said excitedly.

- Actually, I'm the manager of singer Wendy - Siyeon smiled.

- That show often talks about life's problems and has healing tips, very good for sleeping. I often fall asleep in the waiting room listening to the radio while waiting for Wendy.

- I will definitely have to listen to this radio show once - SuA's smile was a bit brighter than the previous ones, she happily took a sip of orange juice.

Siyeon felt satisfied when she saw the scene in front of her.

Kim SuA looked beautiful when she wasn't smiling, when she was smiling, she was ten thousand times more beautiful.

SuA finished breakfast and was about to leave, Siyeon stood up and tried to hold on, she strode after SuA.

- What do you usually do at night? Is there an work overtime? Or go out to play? Or at home?

SuA stopped moving, surprised by the series of questions, she pursed her lips and didn't know how to react. Siyeon stood beside her and waited patiently.

- You want to ask me out on a date? – SuA asked directly.

- No…it's just….there's a pub opening tonight, I heard the show was great, so I wanted to invite you to come along, I hope it helps you feel better – Siyeon stroked her hair and said, there are a few redundant movements because of shyness.

Her words are all random, the new pub opened because she accidentally heard the information through a few colleagues yesterday. She didn't really care when she heard it, but now she uses it as an excuse.

SuA was silent, considering how to respond appropriately. She and this girl were strangers who had absolutely nothing to do with each other, some of which were related to Handong, but it didn't make any sense.

- If you are not a person who likes crowds, then we should probably choose a quieter place, maybe…. - Siyeon said slowly, eyes rolling in thought.

- Okay, exciting environment is not difficult for me, what time?

- 7 o'clock, I will pick you up - Siyeon smiled.

- Okay, see you at 7 o'clock - SuA shyly smiled after Siyeon's smile. She simply thought that she went to change the atmosphere to relieve stress, that's all, for the past few days she's huddled in an empty house and she feels that's enough.

- Your phone? - Siyeon stretched out her hand, this initiative made SuA shy, then Siyeon raised her eyebrows to signal to urge.

SuA took out her phone and gave it to Siyeon. Siyeon took a number and pressed call, then saved the number, wrote a name on it, and returned the phone to SuA.

- See you at 7 o'clock, send me your address, I'll come pick you up, have a nice day - Siyeon finished and left first.

Leaving SuA standing there with skeptical thoughts.

SuA mutters to herself, is it possible that her face shows the words "under stress"?, she doesn't complain to anyone about her current feelings. She thinks that a week at home resting is enough to regain the inherent positive energy. Although she went back to work in a not as excited mood as before, she certainly did not appear too sad or depressed.

Whatever is going on inside of her.

The end of a strong relationship of 7 years, which she did not anticipate and she did not prepare mentally for, needed long enough time to adapt to it.

But Lee Siyeon was the one who saw that feeling of hers. And there's one thing that SuA can't deny, that Siyeon has a very warm, deep, gentle voice, a tone she rarely hears from anyone. Listening to that tone of voice she felt comfortable and relaxed, maybe that's why she agreed to Siyeon's date.

SuA sighed, looked up at the clear blue sky and entered the art center.

In the meeting at the end of the day, everyone finished discussing things and got up to get off work, leaving Handong and SuA in the room.

- SuA, will you come home after drinking a cup of tea? - Handong invites.

- Not today, I have an appointment - SuA smiled, gathering papers on the table.

- Have a date? Oh, have a good time - Handong laughed.

- Have you met Siyeon? She said she had a date with you this morning – SuA suddenly asked.

- I don't have a date with Siyeon - Handong was surprised because SuA suddenly mentioned Siyeon.

SuA thought, so Siyeon just said that to have a reason.

Handong smiled meaningfully and left the office. She didn't understand how Siyeon approached SuA, but their relationship went so fast, Siyeon was really good. But she didn't completely agree if the two of them had something to do with each other. Although she is friends with Siyeon and still respects Siyeon  to a certain extent, she thinks Siyeon is not suitable for someone like SuA.

Because Kim SuA needs someone else who is more patient and mature.

In the evening, Siyeon picked up SuA at home. When she arrived at SuA's house, Siyeon was surprised because SuA was in a rather luxurious house, it seems that Kim SuA is a rich person or the family belongs to the upper class.

SuA got into Siyeon's car and blew up her nose with a very fragrant and pleasant scent, she didn't know if this scent was coming from the space in the car or radiating from Siyeon's body.

When Siyeon called her, she learned that Siyeon had intentionally saved the number in her phone with a rather informal-sounding name, “Singnie.”

- How are you working today? – Siyeon turned to ask while driving.

- It's fine.

- Are you with your family? Your house is quite large.

- No, I'm alone - SuA looked at the racing scene outside.

- Are you okay?

- I'm fine.

Siyeon glanced at SuA, who was still acting normal but didn't look like her at all, Siyeon stopped talking to SuA to keep quiet.

SuA immersed herself in wandering thoughts. She is a very busy person with schedules from morning to night, including work and personal life. But lately she seems to have slowed down, no longer working hard at the gym, or going to boxing classes, or going to her pilates teacher anymore. She just worked and came home, lounging on the sofa and watching from this movie to that movie, the content of which she left behind.

After half an hour of driving, the two arrived at the pub. The space here is quite spacious and vibrant but not as noisy as the bar, bringing a sense of comfort and fun. There is a space in the middle for people to dance, around are dining tables, serving dinner and drinks, to the right of the room is a bar for retail guests, opposite the door is a stage with DJ playing music.

Siyeon and SuA sat next to each other, ordering food and drinks. When Siyeon walked in, she glanced around and she saw a group of colleagues sitting at a table in the corner, which is understandable since they had discussed coming here since yesterday. She pretended not to know and then sat with SuA at a table far away to have a private space.

- You said you were an artist manager, but you seem to be free - after the order clerk left, SuA started asking.

- Of course I don't have free time, but I can make time to do what I want - Siyeon smiled.

SuA laughed at Siyeon's smooth words, after the conversation this morning she knew that the person next to her was a very smart and skillful girl.

- Do you want to talk about that? – Siyeon asked.

- What?

- Your wedding was canceled because of the third person factor.

SuA stared blankly at Siyeon.

- Dong told me about it - Siyeon explained.

SuA pondered thoughtfully, her face was unusually calm.

- It's okay if you don't want to say anything, I don't want to urge you on anything

- It's okay, it's something I need to face anyway - SuA smiled faintly.

Everything was laid out on the table.

- She's toxic, isn't she? - Siyeon said after listening to SuA's story.

- ………….

- It's better to talk clearly and settle it at a private time, rather than right at such a wedding, so many witnesses, including parents on both sides, it's really bad.

SuA listened quietly because she saw that Siyeon was right.

- Are you still angry?

- What does anger solve? - SuA laughed.

- After all, the two of you have been together for a long time, so it is difficult to deal with the current empty feelings.

- I don't think I'll ever be able to love anyone this much again - said SuA while eating.

- You will love like that again - Siyeon said firmly.

SuA looked up at Siyeon, staring into the brown eyes beside her to find the truth.

- When? – Sua asked.

- Soon - Siyeon smiled.

SuA avoided Siyeon's confident gaze, took a sip of water to calm down and then asked again.

- Are you trying to flirt with me?

- No, I just said what needed to be said - Siyeon said with a laugh.

- Then why did you lie this morning?

- …………………….

- Dong said she never had a date with you today.

- If I tell the truth, will you talk to me? - Siyeon confidently answered.

SuA looked at Siyeon for a long time, there were always noises around here, but she couldn't hear anything, because she was busy guessing what the other person was thinking and feeling.

Lee Siyeon is really unpredictable.

SuA felt like she was being seen through, and she didn't understand Siyeon at all.

Then suddenly there was a call.

- Kim SuA?

SuA turned to look, getting rid of her skeptical thoughts about Siyeon.

It was Kim Yoohyeon calling her.
