Moonlight

In a field we lay,

Upon a matress of grass,

Within each others arms

Cloaked by the darkness,

Sheltered by nature's breaths and sounds,

With the moon -

watching over us.

I haven't the slightest clue,

As to how long we lay there,

Basking in the moonlight

All i know is that,

Life was good,

And hope -

illuminated the night.
