Stars.
I was running, a sky of stars stretched above me. The meadow grass felt cool under my paws. I was basking in the moonlight, when something felt out of order. Like the world shaking...

I jerked awake. Juniperpaw was shaking me, very uncomfortable, you know. It was still dark.
"Juniperpaw, it's still dark," I grumbled," So let me sleep."
She shook her head stubbornly, and whispered one word that brought me to life completely.
Midnight.
I remembered.
Midnight, tomorrow.
That happened yesterday. Today we were going to the thunderpath. Juniperpaw's eyes were trained on me.
"Well," Juniperpaw said, " How're we going to get out of camp?"
"So you mean you didn't have a plan."
" I do too!"
" So let's hear it."
Juniperpaw grumbled something under her breath.
"Alright, so I don't have a plan. You have any great ideas?"
"...Nooooo-"
"Exactly!"
"Buuttt-"
"What's your great idea?"
"Just let me finish and you'll know," Twistedpaw grumbled. Juniperpaw pretended to ignore him.
"What. Is. It?" Asked Juniperpaw, nearly jumping up and down.
The idea was in my head, but it wasn't completely, formed yet. In truth, I was just stalling.
" Who's on guard duty tonight?"
"Speckledbird."
" The cat who's really gullible?"
Juniperpaw smiled, and I could see she was warming up to the idea.
"The one who'll listen to anything you tell her." Juniperpaw agreed.
"I chose the perfect night, didn't I?"
I had to nod my agreement, however much I didn't want to.
