Kartik with a bunch of friends was sitting in the college canteen alongwith Kunal.. some of them were meeting after 2 months because their vacations were going on.. and they were having fun discussing random stuffs.. just when Kartik felt someone behind him.. and he knew who it was.. he could sense her even being miles apart..

She was going to put her palms over his eyes to surprise him.. her hands almost there.. but before she could do that he turned his head around and twisted her hands in a soft way and stood up..

Kartik : Tujhe pata hai I can sense you even from the distance of some other planet.. nautanki kyun karti hai har baar..

She made an angry pout and stomped her feet..

Kartik : Awelele mela baby gussa ho gaya??

She nodded her head in yes and replied "Haanji!!"

Kartik : Okay baba I am sorry.. le kaan pakarta hu.. accha I promise ki agli baar se aisa nahi hoga.. bilkul nahi hoga.. I mean tu mujhse aake lipat bhi jaayegi na to I would behave like ki koi hai hi nahi.. like you are invisible.. thik hai..

"Kya!! I swear I will kill you Kartik.. mazak uda rahe ho mera!!", she somewhat yelled and raised her hands to beat him.. but again before she can complete her task he held her hands and pulled her closer.. like really close.. and she started hallucinating just looking at his eyes.. her heart beating fast..

Kartik (almost whispering) : Maar paayegi mujhe.. apne best friend ko.. hmm.. ??

Kartik smirked and left her.. she returned back to the world and sensed everyone sitting at the table, the group of friends staring at them and smiling.. she felt embarrassed..

She looked at him who was smiling..

Kartik : Bata!! Maar paayegi mujhe.. nahi batana.. thik hai mat Batata hu.. mujhe waise bhi pata hai..

"Kya pata hai tujhe??"

Kartik : Ki tu mujhe nahi maar paayegi.. because you love me the most.. hai ki nahi..

She looked at him and smiled.. and nodded in yes..

Kartik : I knew it..

He put his hands around her shoulder and made her sit beside him.. she gestured Hii to everyone else except Kunal.. she couldn't do  actually just because Kunal wasn't looking up.. he was busy with his food.. at least he was trying to keep himself busy with the food and not look at her ...

Rahul (friend) : Yaar tumlogo ko pata hai na ki tumlogo ke baarein mein kya kya rumours fail rakhi hai puri college mein..

Nidhi (friend) : Ho bhi kyun na.. harkate hi aisi hai..

They all laughed..

Kartik : Guys please yaar humara friendship ko lekar koi mazak nahi.. I love her the most.. the most.. arrey college vaalo ka kya hai.. tumlogo ko to pata hai na.. that's it.. I don't care about what the peoples think whom I don't even know..

Aniruddh (friend) : Tujhe fark naahi padh sakta hai par apni jaan se to puch usse Kya lagta hai.. kyun Naira what do you feel about the rumors..

She didn't knew what to respond.. she does enjoy it sometimes to be honest since she loves him so much.. but at times she gets annoyed as well..

Naira : Umm.. wohi jo Kartik ne kaha.. what else.. haha!!

She laughed nervously..

Just then the bell rang as it was time for classes.. they all got up and started heading towards there respective classes..

Kartik and Naira were together only..

Kartik : Oyee!! Tune mujhe vacation pe miss kiya?? Maine tujhe bahut Kiya!!

Naira : Abbey oo nautaki we met every alternate day.. (mimicking him) maine tujhe bahut miss kia..

Kartik : Oyee tujhe nahi pata main tujhe har pal miss karta hu like each n every moment n every second n every microsecond every milisecond every nanosecond..

She glared at him in disbelief..

Naira : I have a very good advice for you.. jaake theater join karle.. natak pe natak kie jaa raha hai.. kutta!!

She left behind an astonished Kartik and went forward.. he soon caught her up running a little.. he pulled her by her elbow and stopped her.. they were close..

Kartik (in an intense voice) : Yeh natak nahi tha.. I really missed you.. Maine jhuth nahi kaha..

She felt she was again loosing control over her but she didn't let that happen..

Naira : Arrey main to mazaak kar rahi thi.. tu to serious ho gaya yaar!!

She smiled awkwardly but he was still looking deep into her eyes.. now he was confusing Naira..
Suddenly he bursts out in laughter..
And Naira got more confused.. he continued laughing and she kept staring..

Kartik : To main kahan serious tha main bhi mazak hi kar raha tha na.. shakal dekh apni.. hahaha!! 

She instantly got hurt by his words but smiled looking down..

Kartik : Chal abhi class mein hum late ho rahe hai..

Naira : Hmm..

He went forward but Naira stood there calculating what was mazak and what was serious from everything he spoke today.. does he really loves her.. of course he does.. but does he really loves her more than a friend.. nahh!! Guess not.. just over thinking..

She went and sat beside him getting inside the class..
