things after they eventually got back together had settled back into quite a normal atmosphere, besides the fact that jungkook was getting ready to go back to university soon and taehyung was talking almost full time now. taehyung had gotten a part time job at the library for now, since when he didnt speak he used to read loads of books, it seemed fitting. also, he wouldnt have to talk too much with this job, which was a huge relief.

"i have to go now, i'll see you later!" taehyung rushed to grab his jacket and speed to the door before jungkook stepped in and grabbed him, holding him tightly in his arms. "can i go with you?" jungkook pouted, and taehyung smiled fondly at him. "maybe another time, baby. i think its best for me just to go for the first day." taehyung nodded, and jungkook groaned in dissatisfaction. "fine. i hope it goes well, tae! say hi to jimin for me too!" he reassured his nervous boyfriend as he watched him walk out.

taehyung decided to walk to the library instead of drive, which he preferred anyway. his feet stepped lightly on the side walk, creating a low, even tempo on the ground. he smiled to himself, looking up at the sky that was filled with dark, thick clouds. there was a strong chance it would start raining soon, but taehyung didnt mind. he liked all types of weather, and besides, he was almost there. 

"taehyung!" jimin greeted the tall boy warmly, and taehyung smiled just as widely in return. "alright your first shift starts right about now. all you gotta do, is take this cart-" jimin explains, shoving a cart stacked with books taehyungs way, "and organize the books on the shelves, got it?" he smiled, and taehyung looked around quickly before nodding firmly in affirmation. "awesome, good luck!" jimin sent him a thumbs up before leaving to take his lunch break.

taehyung pushed the cart down each section of books slowly, making sure he placed each in their exact right place. he didnt want to be sloppy on the first day, if at all. after a little over forty five minutes, jimin returned. "hey, tae! your shifts over, you're free to go now!" jimin smiled, seemingly pleased with the work taehyung had done. taehyung tilted his head, "i still have four books to go." he stated before going to put them away. jimin laughed, but allowed him to do as he pleased.

when taehyung eventually decided he was finally finished for the day, he only then realized it was pouring outside. "damn." he muttered softly under his breath, wondering how he could possibly get home without getting completely soaked. "ah, kook." it finally dawned on him, and he proceeded to pull his phone out of his pocket in one swift move. "hey! whats up?" jungkook asked loudly as he picked up the phone, already knowing it was taehyung on the other end.

"its raining real hard outside, can you pick me up?" taehyung asked, and jungkook chuckled. "i thought you'd never ask! i'll be there in five, and i expect a full report on how today went on the ride home." he stated firmly, and it was taehyung who laughed this time. "alright." taehyung whispered, before hanging up the call. taehyung brushed his (basically dead) hair out of his eyes and smiled lightly to himself, holding his warm phone up to his chest.
