A child is born

A delicate bud

And no one knows the flower

Tended with love

Care is needed to be sure

They are left to grow

In safety and freedom

A difficult state

A balance the gardeners

Know well

But do the donors of

Genes, blood, and bone

Understand they must do the same

To let their flowers blossom

To be unique as themselves

To properly prosper unhindered?
