I woke to Astrid putting her arm on my chest.

" Astrid? You awake?"

" yeah, kinda," she said yawning.

" I'm going out for a flight ok?"

" ok," she said turning over.

" come on Toothless," I said to Toothless as I put my tunic on. We went out onto the porch and I hopped on Toothless and we took off. We passed our usual island stops.

" do you reckon we should go a bit further this time?" I asked Toothless. He gave me a friendly grunt. As we approached the last island stop I could see a storm coming.

" Toothless we should stop on the next island and wait for the storm to stop,"

As I said that Toothless sped up. We approached the storm clouds and the rain pelted down like shards of glass. We got further into the storm before we could see the next island. I could hear thunder in the background of the sound of the rain. By the time the we were reaching the coast of the island lightning was striking around us. As we started to dive down lightning struck Toothless's tail fin and it set alight and we fell down into the ocean...

I woke up but I wasn't on the bottom of the ocean I was in a cave.

" Toothless, you there?"I said. But there was no reply. I closed my eyes and passed out again. I woke again in the same cave but this time I was strong enough to get up, I walked around the cave for a bit before I went out. I was standing in a large forest with thick trees. I could hear strange noises from one direction so I decided to follow the noise which lead me to a huge path way with white lines. I walked onto the pathway but before I got any further I was blinded by lights and I held up my arm to shield my eyes. I was hit. Hit real bad. So bad that I had passed out. I woke back up. My shoulder and chest plates were scratched and cracked and I had a cut on my hand and face that were gushing blood but before me was standing a person wearing weird clothes.

" who are you?" I asked the man.

" I'm Ryan. Ryan Lawrence," said the man.

" and who might you be?" He asked looking at my clothes with a puzzled face.

" I'm Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III," I said proudly.

" sorry about hitting you with my car earlier," said Ryan.

" with your what?!" I exclaimed. I had never heard of a car before.

" do you not know what a car is?" Asked Ryan.

" your obviously not from around here, where are you from?"

" Berk," I said.

" could you point it out on a map for me?" Asked Ryan as held pulled out a slim black rectangle with a glass screen. He pushed a button and the whole glass screen lit up. He tapped the screen a few times and the screen was on a map. He shoved the screen in front of my face.

" just move your finger on the screen and pour out where Berk is," he said.

I or my finger on the screen and the map moved. I looked through the map but there was no Berk.

" it's not on the map," I said.

" we should probably take you to the hospital first," said Ryan.

" what's the hospital?" I asked.

" never mind," he said sticking out a hand for me to grab and help pull me up. He took me into his car thing and it started to move all be itself. He passed me some tissues for my cuts from a cupboard in the car thing and I dabbed them on my cuts to soak up the blood as we drove to the hospital...
