Warrior Cat Hunger Games

     Warrior Cat Hunger Games is a book that well... The title explains it really. It's where the Dark Forest took over and every year draw names of 4 cats from 4 Clans. They will all have to compete and kill each other, Who will win and who will fall? Read this book to find out! Enjoy!

(No-one)

     It's been years since the Dark Forest killed StarClan. But they aren't dead, there is still a StarClan but they can't help us anymore. And tomorrow morning is the Hunger Games. People can give a slip of paper with their name on it to someone and they get something in return, like 10 mice for Leaf-Bare in their Clan or herbs to heal their Clanmates but if they choose to get something then they have their name put in their Clan's bucket of names twice. Tigerstar, Brokenstar, Hawkfrost and Mapleshade are the main cats who run the Hunger Games. They will pick four names from each Clan, other cats can volunteer to take someone's place who got chosen, however. The StarClan cat's names are put into their old Clan's buckets and could also be chosen.

(Dovewing)

     Dovewing got up and padded out of her den into the camp clearing. She walked over to her sister, Ivypool, who was sitting down in the clearing gnawing hungrily into a mouse. Ivypool looked up at Dovewing, "Hey." she said with a mouthful of mouse meat. "Hi," Dovewing replied, "Are you worried about the Hunger Games?"

     "Yeah, I don't think either of us will get chosen, though. The chances are so low, plus my name is only entered once, I didn't buy anything and neither did you, right?"

"Right."

     "I hope Lionblaze won't be chosen. I kind of like him, plus if he doesn't win it will be a big loss to the Clan seeing as he is the best fighter in the Clan because of his powers." Ivypool said. "Yeah I guess," Dovewing replied with little enthusiasm in her voice. "You okay sis?" Ivypool asked "Yeah, I'm just nervous. Whoever gets picked then only one person of those picked cats can return to their Clan. These cats are people we spent our time with and had fun with."

     "Yeah I suppose you're right," Ivypool whispered, "Wanna go hunting with me?" Ivypool added. "Sure," Dovewing replied.

Dovewing silently padded through the forest as she opened her jaw to taste the air, a mouse and a magpie. As Dovewing closed her mouth the bushes rustled ahead of her and a mouse scuttled out from underneath eating a seed it just found.

Perfect!

     Dovewing got into the hunter's crouch creeping slowly up on the mouse and when she got close enough, pounce! She pounced on the mouse but it ran, but Dovewing was fast, she ran after it, catching it and biting its neck, killing her prey and picking it up. Carrying it in her jaws to the nearest tree to bury it she decided to find some more prey.

(Ivypool)

     Ivypool was walking back to where Dovewing and she were supposed to meet back with a magpie and a vole in her jaws. It was getting darker out and Dovewing wasn't at the spot. She began to worry. Where is she? "Dovewing?" She whisper yelled. "I'm right here!" Said Dovewing from behind her scaring her. "Sorry, I was catching a vole and am a little late," Dovewing added. "You scared me!" Ivypool said with fake hurt in her voice. Dovewing let out a mrrow of amusement. "Ready to head back?" Dovewing asked. "Yep," Ivypool replied.

     I'd hate to ever have to leave my sister. I hope we don't get chosen tomorrow at the Reaping.

     After padding back to camp with their prey in their jaws they went to the fresh kill pile and dropped it off. "It's getting late. We need to get up really early tomorrow for the reaping. I'm going to go get some rest, I'll see you in the den?" Dovewing asked after she put her prey down, "Yeah, I'll be there in a few minutes, I'm going to go get a drink of water." Ivypool replied yawning and padding off to go get a drink.
