> grumpy, closed off, snappy, rude, but does have a sense of humor, and is very protective of the few cats that manage to get on his good side.

Backstory:
> Splitdrifts mother, Fernwhisp, was the clan flirt and never had an official mate. When she announced to the clan that she was expecting, she never revealed who the father was, and to this day Splitdrift still does not know. Of his siblings, he was the only one to live, which may have been a punishment from StarClan. Because of his lack of siblings and a father, and because his mother was barely ever around, Splitdrift grew distant form other cats and hateful towards younger cats, and older ones for that matter. He has a hard time making friends, and when he does, he doesn't know how to keep them.
