Flamepaw rolled off, his nest and awaking himself, His eyes blinking with sleep, Ratpaw poked his head in. " Tell your sister, Lilypool needs her and hurry up, we are gonna battle train soon."  Ratpaw muttered and disappeared, Flamepaw padded over, He nudged and prodded Seedpaw, " Err! Wha?" mumbled Seedpaw, " Lilypool needs you!" Flamepaw murmured, She leapt up and meowed, " Oh! Today is herb gathering!! I gotta go!" Seedpaw rushed out.

Flamepaw slid out and scurried over to Cloudsea, " Your late!" Ratpaw hissed, Flamepaw shifted his eyes to Ratpaw, Larkpaw and then to Cloudsea. " Is not!" Larkpaw protested, " Is too! We should have started already!" Ratpaw spat at Larkpaw, Larkpaw pounced and pinned her brother. " Wanna fight!" She declared.

The two siblings were rolling and shuffled. Spidernose and Oceansog pulled them apart, " Stop! You two act like kits!" Spidernose snapped, Larkpaw crouched and hid her face with her tail, her fur burning in embarrassment, " Let's just go." Oceansong mewed, flicked her ears at exit. Flamepaw followed as he arrived with his clanmates. " Flamepaw, train with Ratpaw and Larkpaw train with me" Spidernose ordered, As Flamepaw nodded.

Flamepaw aimed and darted to Ratpaw, The Black tom moved out of the way and bit his tail and yanked him across the clearing. He rose up, and dashed back Ratpaw got ready, but Flamepaw jerked and twisted to the side and kicked Ratpaw at his side. Ratpaw let grunt, " Ha, That's it?" Scoffed Ratpaw.

 Flamepaw felt anger surged within him, he pounced and pinning Ratpaw, sliced his cheek. Ratpaw let yowl of pain as Cloudsea pulled Flamepaw off, " Flamepaw!Stop!" Cloudsea snapped, Ratpaw got on his paws, blood dripping from deep cut from his cheek. They went to camp, Ratpaw paced over to see Seedpaw or Lilypool, Seedpaw nudged marigold and poppy seeds apart. " Hey! I need treatment! Now!" Ratpaw hissed, Lilypool was snoring away, she had treated few cats in the morning. Seedpaw examined his cheek, She grabbed few webs and pushed against his cut, He hissed in fury.

Seedpaw chewed goldenrod, and spat it out, brushed it on his cheek. " Take a poppy seed and then rest" She meowed, Ratpaw gave quick nod of gratitude, and left. "Well done." Lilypool purred, sleepily.   " While Ratpaw's cut heals , you two are on hunting patrol." Oceansong meowed. Larkpaw nodded as Flamepaw shrugged. " Kinkcloud, Icestep and Shimmerfur, Your on hunting patrol. Take these two with you guys!!" Oceansong called as They came over to pick them up.

Flamepaw parted ways with his party, Flamepaw crouched, sneaking upon a vole. Ginger tom leapt and snapped small neck and carried it back with him. Shimmerfur looked at him with joy, " That's my warrior!" She purred, using a paw nookie his head, " Wahh!" He meowed. Larkpaw came with two mice, " You got good catch! I just have two mice." Larkpaw sighed, " It will feed the clan a least." He replied, licking her cheek.

Flamepaw was the first back to camp, tossing his catch on the pile and he sat down. Cypresspelt dragged out a squirrel for her and her brother Brackenfall. Shimmerfur went to join them, Flamepaw looked at his mother. Wait, who was his father? Flamepaw sitting, daze emotionless and as he swept around in his thoughts. " Hey..Hey." A voice snapped him out, Larkpaw stood and looking at him. " Wanna share this? Seedpaw is having some too!" Flamepaw shook himself and spoke " Sure! My belly is more hollow than a log!" He dug in the flesh of vole.

" Can you guys show me few battle moves? Just incase." Seedpaw asked, gulped down her last bite, " Okay." Larkpaw mewed, Flamepaw nodded, He wanted his sister to defend herself if no cat could. Flamepaw used paw swipe as Seedpaw dodged and swiped back, huffing apprentices, kept on training. Larkpaw and Flamepaw both charged as Seedpaw gently  kicked Larkpaw and then headbutted her brother. " Wow...*huff* good job" Larkpaw huffed, lying on her belly to rest.
