Alek here.
Bree told me to write about recent things that happened in my life, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to. And she also is sharing this since she gave this to me, so she edits my writing on here...
The most recent thing that happened that is interesting to write about is the event.
There's this event that adults go to to help raise money for the school. But it's also a target for The Enemy to attack since that is where all the school's leaders go to. Poncho made us go there.
It was not fun.

"Alright guys, listen up," Poncho told us as he clapped his hands two times.
We were at the breakfast table, having Cade's breakfast which consisted of eggs and bacon. It was a normal morning and Poncho had something he needed to tell us.
We all turned to look at him.
"So tonight, we have a very special mission," he started seriously, interlacing his hands on the tabletop. "We are going to the school's fundraiser."
"Wait, but isn't that for adults only?" Cade asked with confusion.
The leader had a sly facial expression while nodding his head. "Yeah, that is correct."
"So how can we go if it's just for adults? We're only teenagers!" He extended his hands out, making me lean over to the left side, eyeing him with caution so that I wouldn't get jabbed by his hand.
Poncho turned to Andrea. "Hen?"
We all turned to Andrea as she pulled out four black chips from underneath the table and held them in the air, like holding up cards. I immediately recognized them since I created them. "These are our Adult Mode chips so that we can appear to be adults to others. It works like our suits and weapons, except like the exact opposite: instead of seeing what others don't see, we are now not going to see what others see."
"Um," Bree started to say, "so we're gonna turn into...grown ups?" She didn't seem too certain about the idea. But what I made is going to be put to use no matter what.
Andrea gave her a big smile. "Yup! But you won't see us as adults, so there's nothing to be creeped out about, we'll still look like ourselves from our point of view. From what Russia told me."
All heads turned to look at me. I just gave them a nod, not really sure about what to say. But I know that the chips will work, because my items always work.
"How will we activate them?" Cade asked, turning to look at me.
"By how we activate our zuits," I told him sternly.
"Ah, okay!" He nodded his head and continued eating.
So after that, we were dismissed to go try out the Adult Mode chips to see if they work out. I thought it was stupid to try them out since I knew they were going to work and I didn't want everyone in my room.
But everyone went into my room.
And they did work.
After we placed the chips into the energy source, which is the circle that was attached to the chest area of our shirts, the designs glowed, signifying that the adult cover was being formed. And our designs on our clothes continued to glow as long as the chip was inside the source.
"So we're now adults?" Cade asked, extending his arms out.
I nodded my head. "Yeah." I then looked at the girls, seeing if they had anything to say: Andrea seemed pretty fascinated while Brynne seemed uncertain. "It's good?" I asked them.
Bree looked at me like as if I just scared her. "Oh um, I was wondering...are we going to sound like adults?"
I felt like slamming my head into the wall and going back to my hometown. I remembered to put in that feature, but I forgot and it would take more the rest of the day to add that into each chip. Stupid, stupid, stupid. "You sound like adult," I shot back at her.
She looked at me confusingly. "I sound like an adult?"
"No." I shook my head. "You pretend to sound like an adult." If only everyone spoke in Russian, communication would be easier for the most part.
"Oh!" Her face turned really red. "So we talk like an adult then, mimic the voice of an adult, okay, okay..." She began laughing, more like a little laugh.
"Do I sound like an adult?" Cade spoke in a oddly deep voice. "Do I sound manly?"
We all stared at him and with our facial expressions, he got the message that he was scaring us.
"So how can I sound like an adult if I can't even sound like one then?" he yammered in his normal voice, throwing his hands in the air.
We all stood in my room, not saying a word. We were thinking.
"Accents," Bree spoke up. "We can use accents-- I noticed that with an accent, our voice can either go lower or higher."
"That's a great idea!" Andrea exclaimed with a huge smile on her face, turning to her. She then looked at us. "We should all have different accents!"
Bree placed her hand on her chest. "I can have a British accent."
"And I will have French accent!" Andrea picked out.
"Yes, have a French accent, you're so good at it!" she exclaimed to her.
"Really?"
"Yes, I can't do one for the life of me..."
I just stood there with my arms crossed as they continued chattering. They talk too much. Girls talk too much.
"Okay." Andrea looked at me. "Which accent would you want?"
"Russian," I told her with a shrug.
She frowned. "But that's already your accent, you got to have another one."
"Why not Russian? I sound good with Russian." I did not want to do another accent.
"We all sound good with our own accents, Russia. But for the sake of tonight, please do another accent so that you can sound more like a legit adult, okay?" She looked at me pleadingly.
I kept pressing on. "No Russian?"
"No." She shook her head.
"What accent can I do then?"
"American!" Cade blurted out. "Like us!"
If I was able to do that accent, I would've already been speaking with it. That's why I have a Russian accent: because I can't do that accent. "No," was all I had to say.
"Come on, we'll love to hear you with an American accent, please‽"
"I won't do, I can't," I told them, crossing my arms.
"Alek, you can do it!" Andrea said to me.
"Yeah!" Bree added on.
I took in a deep breath, thinking of how to intimidate their accent. "Hello," I said in my best American accent.
They all gawked at me like as if I told them Russia was right behind my room. That would be nice if that was true, I could be so much closer to home.
"That was great!" Andrea complimented. "You should talk like that more often!"
"I would, but I lose it quickly," I told her with my Russian accent.
"Well, would you be able to use that accent for tonight?"
I frowned. "Yeah, for tonight...I guess." I shrugged.
"Awesome!" She then pointed her thumb up in the air with a smile. She looked at Cade. "And which accent would you have, Freshman?"
"I would go for Southern--" He was quickly cut off by Bree shaking her head with disapproval expression. "What's so bad about Southern?"
"Sorry, I don't like country stuff," she said like as if her throat was dry.
"Yeah, I agree with Katt." Andrea rose her hand in the air.
"Okay then, how about Australian then, huh?"
"Now that's way better!" Bree told him happily.
"Yeah, if you're good at it!" Andrea told him.
"I am--see--" He cleared his throat. "G'day, mate!" he said in a funky accent I guessed to be Australian.
"Haha, sounds like my College Algebra teacher!" Andrea said while laughing not that much.
"Hey, that's my math teacher, too!" Bree told her. "For Geometry!"
"And mine, too!" Cade added on in that same accent. "Torturous Algebra 1 today, all day!"
I don't have that Australian math teacher because I took a higher math level course than all of them: AP Calculus BC.
"Okay, okay," Andrea said, calming down the other two. "So we got our accents to disguise our voice now and our adult mode is working. Work on your accents so that they can be perfect by tonight and keep the chips safe!"
"So we can take the chip out now, mate?" Cade asked in that Australian accent.
"Yes," she told him.
And you can also take out that accent as well, I wanted to tell him. We pressed the energy source and the designs on the glow of our clothes died down as the chip was revealed from the circle. I pulled out mine and slipped it in my pocket.
"Alright guys, we get ready to leave at seven-thirty to leave at eight! You guys can go now!"
Cade and Bree left my room.
Andrea turned to me. "Thanks for making these." She rose up her chip in the air.
I nodded. "Yeah, it's fine."
She then turned around and left me room, too.
I stood in my room. Seven-thirty...that is...oh yea, nineteen-thirty. Okay. I nodded my head and walked back over to my desk.
