Okay, so I, Alek, am writing here. Andrea told me to put in some intro, so I hope this is good enough.

I have never been to a dance before in my life, since in Russia there is no such thing. Well, in my school back in Russia there was no such thing.

Poncho dropped us off at the entrance of the school like how one was suppose to do to get to the dance. Us four got off from the car, wearing the formal clothes Andrea made for us. I was wearing a simple black suit and black tie, mixing in with what the rest of the guys were wearing, including Cade. Meanwhile, Andrea and Bree were wearing dresses: a purple one and a pink one.

We passed through the black gate that covered the perimeter of the front of the school and began walking down the courtyard. The courtyard was lined with trees that had lights sprinkled on them; there were also many students scattered throughout the area. We were walking straight to the gym, where the dance was being held.

"So, this is the plan," Andrea began to say as we approached the towering building, ": we will guard each side of the gym." She turned to Bree. "Katt, you'll take south--" She turned to Cade. "Freshman, you'll take east." She turned to me. "Russia, you'll take north, and I'll take west." She gazed at all of us, stopping in her tracks next to the entrance; we stopped as well. "Is that fair?"

"What do you mean by north?" I asked her.

"North would be practically the entrance of the gym: the foyer and inside the gym where the bleachers are located," she replied, pointing to the doors of the gym.

I nodded my head, visualizing where I was suppose to go. "Okay."

"Alright, guys and remember, blend in, don't make anyone think suspiciously of us. If someone wants to talk to you, talk to them. If anyone wants to dance with you, dance with them. You get what I mean, right?" Andrea told us gravely.

We all nodded our heads.

"Okay, let's go have fun...and be on a lookout! Contact me with you have found anything suspicious." She then opened the glass door that was on our right side and entered it. We followed her into the foyer and out into the gym.

The gym was pitch black with different coloured lights flying to and fro, bouncing off of the huge room. There was electronic music bursting from speakers, practically vibrating the whole room. Students were everywhere in the gym, from hanging out by the food tables that were in front of me to my left, to the middle of the gym floor, what I assumed was now the dance floor.

With wide eyes, I shuffled over to the wall between the folded bleachers and the opening of the foyer and the gym. I wished I have boughten my helmet since it had night vision; with that, could spot The Enemy easier and get my revenge on him. I should think of a way of how to get what he deserves, I thought to myself with hatred and disgust filling inside me. But my mind didn't feel like to since the reason of why I wanted to get rid of him so much would just reoccur in my mind. I shook my head. "I need to do something," I muttered to myself as I peeled my back off from the wall.

I began aimlessly wandering toward the food area, darting my eyes so that I could find The Enemy. I gazed up at the ceiling with my hands in my pocket, thinking if he would be up there where all the railings for the lights and the ventilation was located. Maybe he's not even here...maybe he's with Poncho--

Before I could finish my sentence, I felt myself colliding with something quite hard. I stumbled back a bit, almost losing my balance, but luckily I didn't fall. Instead, I felt my shirt soaked. I looked down and gasped, seeing that my blazer and white collared shirt was stained with a dark, sweet, sticky liquid.

"Ohhhh my gosh, I am sooo sorry!!!" I heard a girl's voice cry out.

I snapped my head up, seeing the one who spoke standing opposite of me. From what I could see with the terrible lighting, she looked like as if she was as old as me, if not older. She had light brown hair and was wearing a red dress; in her hand was a clear, plastic cup that was empty; she had a shocked look on her face.

"Um..." I looked back down at my shirt, pulling it outward so that it won't stick to my skin due to the liquid. I didn't know what to say, I was just cursing in Russian mentally.

"Here, let me help you."

I looked up, seeing the girl swiping a napkin off from the food table; she raced up to me and began dabbing the paper against my shirt.

"I did not see you, I feel so bad, I just ruined your shirt," she told me after she realized that the napkin was doing nothing. She gazed at me with a disappointed look. "I'm so sorry."

"Yeah..." I nodded my head slowly.

"Do you--do you have a date?"

"Uh, no..."

"Well, I don't either," she told me with a frown. "I technically do, but I think he stood me up."

Whatever that means, I thought to myself. "Okay," I told her.

"So, since you don't have a date" --She pointed at me with her free hand-- "and I don't have a date" --She pointed to herself-- "then maybe we can be each others dates. How's that?" She gave me a smirk.

No, I thought to myself. I have Feliks...even though he's...dead, I still have him.

"Do you want to dance with me?" She pointed behind to her right, indicating the dance floor.

No. I just shrugged, since I remembered what Andrea told us about talking to other people while on duty. "I guess."

"Alright cool!" She smiled hugely as she placed her empty cup on the table. "Oh well for punch, dancing's better." She fully turned to me. "Let's go!" She then grabbed onto my wrist tightly and pulled me over to the middle of the dance floor with speed.

I don't want to describe dancing because I don't like it. Even though I was told I was good at it, I just don't like it. I'd rather play soccer. But the girl, she liked it a lot, I could tell. I mainly just stood there, watching her dance awkwardly. Then she would pull me into her dance, trying to get me to dance. But dancing and being on a look out at the same time was not an easy task to do.

After what seemed like an eternity, the girl finally letted out a sigh of tiredness and said, "Man, what a workout! Let's go outside, it's getting hot in here."

Oh no, I need to stay in here though! But I can't tell her that, she would question it... I watched her walk toward the foyer, where I was suppose to be in. She then turned around and motioned me to come with her. Fine. I followed her into the foyer and out into the outside.

I caught up to her as she was walking down the path in the middle of the courtyard.

"You need to learn how to get into the groove!" she told me with a giggle. "Don't be so stiff-necked!"

Okay? I thought to myself. I turned to look at her, seeing more of her features. She had light brown hair, like tan coloured hair; she also had hazelnut coloured eyes. But it was odd because I didn't recognize her; I never saw her in school before. "Do you go here?"

"Me?" She placed her hand against her chest. "No, no, I don't."

Okay, that explains why I didn't know her, but... "What are you doing here?"

"Just enjoying a dance, that's all." She sniffed a bit and looked down. She then looked back at me with a sophisticated look. "It was fun dancing with you."

"Um, thanks," I told her hesitantly as we passed through the opened gate. "Wh-where are we going?"

"Oh, to my car... I'm gonna leave," she told me as we stepped down from the curb.

"And you want me to come?" I asked as we began crossing over to the row of cars.

"Yeah, I do. I really want to hang out with you more often. Y'know, know more about you, loosen you up a bit... I like you."

I nodded slowly as we halted next to a short, white car.

"Thanks for dancing with me," she told me with a smile with her hand on the top of the car's left-side door. She peered down at my stained shirt. "And sorry about the spill. Next time I see you, I'll definitely buy you a new shirt."

I frowned with a shrug. "It's fine." Actually, it wasn't. Now I had to go around with a huge stain on my shirt for the rest of the night.

"Hm." She gazed at me with her eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Why did I even notice that? "I'll see you soon," she said softly. Then without a warning, she leaned in and placed her lips on mine.

I was taken aback at the action, not knowing how to react. Should I push away? Should I receive it? I never knew that America would like me so much like this! But at least this would replace the bad memories of the last kisses I had. Ugh. I had to admit, I kinda liked it: it was soft, gentle, and sweet. But I definitely miss Feliks's kisses--those are the best kisses of all. I hope that I would see him again...but I know I won't, because he's dead. Maybe my dad's plan would work after all.

She then pulled away with a closed smile as she stared deeply into my eyes; she had her arms wrapped around my shoulders; my hands were automatically on her waist. "Good-bye," she whispered to me.

"Yeah, better say your last good-byes to him," I heard a despicable, familiar voice call out from behind me.

I snapped my head behind my shoulder, seeing The Enemy marching up to me. Good, at least I won't get shouted at for not doing my job, I thought to myself.

I fully faced him with a dark look. "No, you better say your last good-byes to yourself." I then thrusted my hand out at me; shards of glass flew out from the palm of my hand, streaking toward my opponent.

The Enemy dodged the glass by disappearing in a blast of black mist.

"Черт," I spat with disgust. Shoot.

"Whoa!" The girl, looking up, immediately extended her hands into the air. An energy shield formed around us, coming in between the sky and us. The shield was shaped as a half circle and it was clear with a glowing red, yet deformed spots moving about the surface with a whiteish-clearish accent.

I then spotted black smoke streaking from the sky and slamming against the shield. The shield vibrated a bit with the red spots expanding and intensifying for a moment as the the girl grunted at the impact; she still kept her ground still.

"Let me attack!" I shouted at her.

She gazed at me with wide eyes. "Not against Jake, he's too powerful for you! You're no match!"

"So how are we suppose to defeat him‽" I cried out with my arms extended out on both sides.

"Ugh!" The girl dipped her head as the smoke crashed onto the surface of the energy shield once again. "We'll teleport outta here and make a plan from there!"

"Can't we just improvise?!"

"And get knocked out‽"

"I want to finish him! I want to finish him once and for all!" I shouted with my hand on my chest.

"I know you'll get knocked out! Just listen to me!" She gazed at me with wide, distressed eyes.

"How do you know?" I grumbled with my eyebrows lowered.

"Outcome Prediction."

I made a confused look. "Wha?"

"One of my powers. Now let's bust outta here." She waved her hands back down to her sides, letting the energy shield disappear. She then jumped into the air and blasted up toward the sky with a light, misty trail of red energy following her.

"Time to fight," I muttered to myself as I reached into my pocket. I pulled out my energy source and placed it against my chest.

In a matter of seconds, I had my fighting suit on with my glider and Zashchitnik. I zoomed up into the air, trying to catch up to the flying girl.

"Where is he?" I asked her once I was by her side.

She turned to me with a grave expression. "You don't need to know--you have to get out of here!"

"Where is he?" I pressed on. I was not going to turn around just because some girl said so.

"He's over there!" she pointed in front of her, toward the hills that were located next to the school.

I leaned forward and sped toward the hills.

Suddenly, I saw the air between the hills and me open up a hole in space with a glowing, red outline. On the other side of the portal was forest that was so familiar to me; then it dawned on me, it was the forest that was located near my house back in Russia.

"What?" I was so confused at why a portal that was showing my hometown just came out of nowhere. I gazed up, seeing that there more portals scattered throughout the sky, showing different parts of St. Petersburg. "What on earth--?"

"Get into one!" I heard the girl yell at me.

I looked over my shoulder, seeing her with her hands extended toward me; she was the one who generated the portals.

Before I was able to respond, a black ribbon of mist rushed up to me and made harsh contact with me, despite the fact that it was nearly intangible. I lost balance and began tumbling through the streaking air, unable to gain control of my gilder or falling. I stared at the ground that was getting closer to me as I tried to press the 'force-on' button on the side of my gilder.

A portal then erupted into view, giving me the surprise that when I hit the ground, I would enter into another place. She really wants me out of here.

But before I could enter the portal, I felt a massive force sideswiping me from the left with such impact that everything went black.
