A Message

This is a message to all people who have lost a pet in their life.

I've lost 3 pets within the time frame of four years. Though only one of them was actually my family's pet. I'll give you a bit of intel on them.

1. I've known Zep for most of my life. He was my age (in human years) and my family and I loved him so much. It was incredibly hard to loose him. We had to put him to sleep due to arthritis and it was very hard to bear. I am still grieving to this day (about 4 years later)

2. My family (but mostly my older sister) used to foster rescue puppies until they got homes up until 3 years ago. We got some pretty amazing dogs and one of them (our second) we are still in touch with. But last year we found out that one of our dogs was unjustly put down due to showing a TINY amount of agression. I am not happy about that and nor is my family but that death really hit me hard.

3. My older sister house-sits for family friends and one of these friends had a GORGEOUS bull terrier named Tom. But Tom got cancer and had to be put to sleep. What's worse, the day I was told about Tom was the same day I was told about my great uncle having lung cancer. (DON'T YOU DARE EVER SMOKE ANYTHING)

The reason I am telling you these things is to say that you are not alone if you are going through the grief of losing a pet. Even if it was only one pet. That doesn't make it any less sad than anyone elses loss (including my own). Just know that you are not alone.

Also DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO SAY THAT THEY ARE JUST ANIMALS. THEY ARE STUPIDLY WRONG. PETS  (and all animals, actually) ARE ALIVE AND HAVE EMOTIONS.
