Raven's POV...

Over one hundred bodies were strewn across the streets of jump city, each one had a different wound in a different place. The bodies all lay peacefully, with the hot fire in the distance, slowly causing them to decompose. The whole city was lit in flames, every single building a blazing red. Looking at it I frown, and begin my search for Slade. Striding through the corpses, and eventually tripping over one,  one specific building was extinguished from all flames. Flying over to it I go through a broken window and pause at the scene.

Sitting on an armchair in the middle of the room was Slade. His mask was covering his features but I could sense that he had a smirk on his face.
"Hello Raven, beautiful day for chaos. Isn't it?" He says in his mocking voice. As he turned around my face was filled with disgust.
"It's never a good day when it comes to you being the center of our attention." I spit causing him to chuckle.
"Raven, by our your referring to yourself, and yourself only." He teases, making me look around the empty room only just realizing that the others weren't here with me. 'Where are they?' I mumble under my breath, clenching my fists in preparation to attack.
"Slade, you'll pay for all of your little jokes some day!" I concluded, my eyes glowing white.
"And that day is today!" I declared, launching at the villain, hands a deadly black as I go to strike him.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Can't we just talk for once?" He tuts, grabbing my arm and twisting it as I reach less than a few inches from him. A stinging pain shoots through my elbow and reaches my shoulder, causing me to let off a little squeal. I go to trip him over with my foot as I turned around but it seemed he had already predicted that because as soon as I kew it I was on the floor, an arm pinned behind my back.
"You'll pay for this you MONSTER!" I yell at him, struggling to release myself from his grip.
"Oh, i'm the monster?" He snickered, making me grimace. My vision slowly becoming fuzzy, I hear a loud 'RAE!' and running towards me I saw a green blob running towards me. As soon as the person reached me the grip on my arm released as I presumed someone must've attacked him, not sure who though.
"It's ok, your gonna be alright..." They say as I feel hands lightly pick me up bridal style and carry me off, and thats when everything went black.
