Well, she was different. She showed no emotion, never. Love, hate, sadness, and any other emotion never appeared on her face. When our parents left on a whim, she worried not one bit.

I gently knocked on her door, smoothing down my (h/l) (h/c) hair, and putting on a smile.

The door opened, and my sister appeared, unsurprisingly emotionless.

"I've been expecting you," she murmured monotonously, inviting me in. I nervously smiled, and dragged my bags inside.

"So, how have you been?" I asked her, admiring her small but cozy house.

"Fine," was her simple reply.

"So, we'll be starting school tomorrow," I stated excitedly, jumping up and twirling around.

"Yes," she murmured, staring at me.
