Coming to my senses piled under two Dirtmen boys is not how I'd like my mornings.

Its not morning anyway, at least, I don't think so.

We're still in the volcano, so I can't really see the sky.

What I do see, is that I'm being crushed.

"Guys, off, now." I huff, trying to squeeze my way out.

"Oh whoops! Sorry, Uniqua!" Mid yowls, realising the situation. He tugs himself out of the tangle.

He turns, ripping Sid off me.

"Sorry... I.. really didn't want to land in the lava." Sid apologised. 

"Its fine. Just... don't jump THAT far." I say, dusting myself as I got up.

Mid gave Sid a smile as all three of us started surveying our surroundings.

We were in a.. deeper section of the chamber. 

"Uhh.. what did the elders in the village say about the Volcano?" Mid frowned, as if recalling something.

"The Volcano appeared three chapters ago." I say, raising an eyebrow."How would your village elders know of it?"

Then I realised this was the author we're talking about.

Whatever is written, has happened.

I sigh. "Nevermind. What did your elders say?"

"That some part of the volcano... Fire People live?" Mid remembered.

"Fire People? You mean those aggressive men of flames who like to BBQ everything?" I offer.

"Yep."

"UHh.. you mean those men who are made of spinning charcoal bodies, with flames all over them?" Sid suggests.

"Yeah. Hey, those were some good details, who told you?" Mid asks, facing Sid.

"Because I think we just crushed one."

He points to where we had fallen. 

A crumbled pile of charcoal bits lie on the floor. Dying embers slowly erased of light.

"Oh... oops." 

"Uhh.. Mid? Can Dirtmen survive flames throwers to the face?" Sid asks.

"Uhh, not sure, why?"

"I think we made them mad."

"Who?"

"Them."

We turn, seeing five Fire Men staring at us, glimpsing back at where we had killed one.

Crap.

"RUN RUN RUN RUN!" I screamed.

We darted towards where we came, but found the Fire People appearing before us. 

"Uhh... look we reaaaally didn't mean to uh... crush your friend to bits... but... can we go? Alive? Please?"

They glare at us, breathing in to consume us in flames.
