A twig snapped. Mira quickly turned her head around. It was too quiet. "Something's-" Blair started.
"-suspicious," Mira finished for her. Suddenly, a huge SNAP! erupted from above. The two Eevees looked up to see a carefully placed net spring down onto them.
"Agh!" Blair's fluffy Eevee fur got caught in the net. She struggled to untangle it.
Mira looked ahead. Two strange looking things walked over to them. "Trainers!" Blair screamed.
Mira panicked. The two humans let out a discouraged sound. They walked on. Mira waited until they were out of sight, then blew a hole in the net with fire. They crawled out, Blair leaving clumps of fur in the net.
The two scrambled back to camp. It was in complete chaos. Ethan and Alden were fighting to protect Fontana, Akira, and Clair. Glenn and Ben were fighting as a team. Irene lashed out and anyone who got near. Brefew was snarling at a she-human, while Betsalele drove one out of camp.
"Fight!" Blair roared as she dove off to help Fontana.
Mira dashed to Brefew and helped him snap fire at the human until it yelled in pain. She then scratched flames at Betsalele's human. She flashed to Glenn and Ben and left their humans with permanent bite marks. "Anyone else need help?" she called. But looking around, the battle was ending. The humans were retreating out of camp. Things seemed to be back to normal.

That is, until Mira saw Fontana.

Darn it that chapter was so SHOOOOORRRRRRT. Ugh. oh well.
