☆Taming your Drillien☆
You stare at the Drillien in front of you, and it stares back. Its shining black eyes seem fixated on the small bridle in your hands.
You jiggle the bridle, and it cocks its head in response. It's now or never...

How to tame a Drillien
*☆*
Most Drilliens are very skittish creatures, despite some of them being the top predators in their biomes. When taming a Drillien, be sure to have a lot of time on your hands, as it takes a while for them to get used to you
Wild Drilliens are the hardest to tame, but the most rewarding, as they have certain skills that domesticated Drilliens do not have
Adopting an already domesticated Drillien is easier, but you will still have to go through the process of letting them become comfortable with you
Having a Drillien since their hatching is the best option, but also the hardest, as the breeding of Drilliens is hard and seldom successful
There is one thing that all Drilliens have in common when it comes to taming: They love flowers. Each drillien might have its own preference as to a certain flower, but they love flowers
Before going out to adopt/tame a Drillien, be sure to pack a variety of flowers, a bridle, and a lead
Once you are with the Drillien, the goal is to become smaller than them, so sit down, or make it seem as if you are not a threat. Once comfortable, unpack your flowers, and lift each one up, which will attract Drilliens
Once you have attracted a Drillien that you wish to tame, it is a slow process of slowly getting them used to your touch, and then eventually, your weight on their back
This process might take several days, so be prepared for such

Once Tamed
*☆*
After a Drillien has been tamed, they are fairly docile creatures. Think of them as a cross between a dog and a horse
They have a lot of energy, so they must be allowed to expel that often. Simply letting them out for a quick run on their own, or even taking them out on a ride, are both good ways to exercise them
Speaking of riding, Drilliens can be ridden. There are two types of saddles, one built for speed/light passengers, and the other for longer distances, and to hold supplies

The saddle built for speed is located near the shoulders/neck, as when Drilliens run, they flatten themselves out. Positioning the saddle here gives the least air resistance, thus upping the speed

The second kind of saddle is a pack saddle, and positioned more at the center of the back, with supplies closer to the haunches. This saddle type is meant for long journeys, but you cannot pack too much weight on to a Drillien, as they are already carrying a rider
The bridle for a Drillien is slipped on over the horns first, then the buckles under the mouth and jaw are fastened
Drilliens do not have the capabilities to make their own clothing and/or accessories, so the most you will find on a wild Drillien is an occasional flower crown. Domestic Drilliens will tolerate smaller items that you place on them, such as scarves, or small armbands
Although Drilliens are peaceful, they are fiercely protective of their companions and owners. If you hurt a fellow Drillien, or their owner, you'll need to beware their sharp claws and needle like teeth
Drilliens form close bonds with others, and they should never be alone for long stretches of time. If you only own one Drillien, it is suggested you should at least schedule meetings with fellow Drillien owners. Most times, Drilliens will just wander off if they want to socialize
Drilliens can also be trained to come at whistles or tunes, but make sure you choose something a bit more uncommon, as many make the mistake of choosing popular tunes, and summoning 3-4 Drilliens that are not their own
I believe that is all, regarding training your Drilliens! Have a wonderful day
