I walk up the stairs to find Jody pushed against the window and someone pinning her there, I thought I saw him punching her but I couldn't be sure as he had his back to me.

"What's going on?" I asked from the top step.

"Teags--" I heard Jody say in nothing more than a whimper.

That's all it took for me to advance towards them at speed. I grabbed this guy and pulled him off Jody slamming him against the window.

"Teagen leave it lets go." Jody tells me.

She's right, the guys probably got the message that you don't mess with us whatever he was trying to get Jody to do. Besides I was supposed to be keeping out of trouble not getting into more trouble. I turned around and went to walk away with Jody but once I noticed the black eye that was starting to develop and a small cut on her forehead. It was like all the rationale left my body and I grabbed back hold of the boy.

"What the hell did you do to her?" I questioned angrily.

"Nothing." The boy mumbled not so confident with himself anymore.

"Teagen, come on I think you made your point." Jody tells me but I know she just doesn't want me getting into trouble.

"Come on you two, we got to get to art." I hear Tyler call as he is coming up the stairs. "Jody what's happened? Your bleeding."Tyler adds.

"I just...he just...started hitting me." She mumbled tears threatening to fall.

"Tyler take her into Miss Walkers class." I say referring to the classroom to our right.

"Do you think you hard do you beating up other people?" I questioned angrily.

"No. Your no better you know shoving your weight around." He argued.

"I don't really care, you hurt my friend and you have me to answer too."

"Teagen isolation now." I hear a stern voice tell me. I spin around to see one of the maths teachers standing in the doorway of the classroom on our left.

I ignored him and continued laying into the kid I had pinned up against the window. There was lots of shouting going on which is when I saw Miss Walker come out of her classroom.

"You her her ever again on anyone for that matter and you have me to deal with." I say pulling the boy forward and pushing him against the window to emphasis my point.

"Teagen, my classroom." Miss Walker says calmly.

"I told her to go to isolation." The Maths teacher pipes up.

"Did I ask for your input? I can handle--"

"Still stuck here." The boy calls out.

"Teagen." Miss walker calls clearly wanting me to go with her.

"No, I am not going anywhere. I sent her in there so you could help her not come out here and yell at me."I argue.

"Right and Jody is being looked after so I want you to come to my classroom so we can talk." She tells me putting a hand on my shoulder to steer me away.

"Why am I being dragged in here, this wasn't even my fault." I questioned.

"Your not being dragged anywhere. I just want you to come in and calm down." She tells me.

I walk into the classroom and take a seat trying my best to calm myself down.

"Where's Jody?" I questioned worried about my friend.

"She's just next door with Mrs Jones, she's just looking at the cut." She explains. "Teagen what happened out there?"

"Well I went to meet Jody and as I came up the stairs I saw him beating her up, so I grabbed hold of him." I explained.

"--She's a psychopath, The short one Jody ain't much better, such a slut did you hear she's slept with half the school." As soon as I heard those words I looked up at Miss Walker who shared a look with me.

"Teagen." She spoke as I rose from where I was sat fists already clenched.

"I'm going to kill him." I mumbled to myself but by the way Miss walker reacted I assumed she had heard me. I advanced towards the door only to hear my name being called again and an arm grab hold of me.

"Let go." I shouted. "Get off me." I added flailing my arms around to try and get free.

"You can struggle as much as you want, I am not letting go."

"why? Get off me."

"I'm not going to let you go out there and do something you will regret." She tells me.

"Oh trust me I won't regret anything, he deserves it." I say continuing to struggle against her.

I walked through the door and straight into Mike's office, I decided it was better that he heard it from me then someone else in the house grassing me up.

"I know I'm late, I'm sorry I walked I had to sort my head out. Yes I did get into a fight, no I don't regret any part of it, I don't know what else to say. I did it. it happened. it's over." I tell him.

"To do with Jody I assume." He asks.

"Yes, Is she ok?" I ask.

"She's upstairs, hasn't really said much since she got home." he tells me.

I get up from where I sat in the office and went to leave to go and talk to Jody.

"Teagen." Mike called gaining my attention before I left. "We need to talk about this properly after dinner ok." He tells me.

"Okay" I reply.

I made my way upstairs and knocked on Jody's bedroom door, I didn't hear anything but told her it was me before entering. She was laid on the bed with red puffy eyes, a clear sign that she had been crying.
