"Oh God Jayce, I'm really sorry I need to be getting back, Liam's coming round this afternoon. Well in about 15 minutes actually." I tell him. It wasn't too bad as we were about that far from the house.

"I'll walk you back if you want." Jayce tells me.

"I'd love that." I smile up at him. 

We walked hand in hand back to the house, as we were walking up the drive way I noticed Liam was just getting out of the car. 

"Liam." I call and he turns around and walks towards us.

"Who's this?" Liam asks.

"Jayce, my boyfriend. Jayce this is Liam." I introduce them.

They look at each other for a couple of seconds the tension rising.

"You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend." Liam says sounding a little disappointed.

"We weren't really talking and then I guess I dunno it never came up." I reply.

"Is he good enough?" Liam asks and I just sigh but before I can say anything Jayce has.

"Are you? Which are you the deadbeat brother or the brother that left her to live with deadbeat?" Jayce quips back.

"Jayce." I mumble.

"What so he can ask questions but I can't." He argues.

"Hey Liam, guys you coming in?" I hear Mike call from the front doorway.

"Coming." I call. I say goodbye to Jayce and then follow Liam inside. 

"Well that was intresting." 

"Don't Liam."

"Fine, come on fancy a game of pool?" He asks.

"Yeah."

Me and Liam play a couple of games of pool before I get a text trough from Jayce. 'Sorry about earlier with Liam. I was an idiot, it's just everything with my family, I have never been 'good enough'' I messeged him back straight away.

"Come on get off your phone and take your shot. Who wants you anyway?" Liam asks being nosy.

"Jayce, to apologise for earlier." I tell him.

"Is that what you told him? That we're deadbeats?" Liam asks.

"No." I quickly answer. "I did tell him about it though you and Jack. Told him what happened when you came back but I also told him about when we were kids." I say with a small smile.

"Clearly thinks I'm no good though." 

"No You just got his back up because you asked if he was good enough." I say without explaining everything else.

"I just wanted to check. You know after Harley. I just wanted to check, I wasn't there before." He explains.

"Trust me If he was anything like Harley, I wouldn't have brought him here."

"Well as long as you are ok. Where did you two meet then?" Liam asks.

"A Party, his twin sister invited half the school. Tyler and Jody got me to go, I went outside for some air and there he was and we started talking."
