Liam Had gone, Mike didn't have to choose since Liam heard the last of our conversation. Apparently he decided to give things another go with Jack which didn't really surprise me. I knew he would be back there soon enough without a second look back. Without even a goodbye.

"Teagen!" Mike calls.

I leave my bedroom and slowly make my way downstairs, what could I have possibly done wrong now, I hadn't even been out of my bedroom all morning. I make my way into the office to see what Mike wanted.

"I need to talk to you." He says walking out of the office. 

Curious to what he wanted since usually he would have just told me in the office I followed him over to the meeting room. He slowly opened the door and I walked in first.

The table was covered with stuff, Cupcakes, doughnuts, sweets, napkins, milkshakes, popcorn. I took It all in and then looked up to see Liam sat on the sofa. My hands became sweaty and my heart beat sped up, I was not in the mood for another argument.

"Just hear me out before you run off." He said clearly noting how anxious I was.

"Why should I?" I asked.

"Wow you really have changed haven't you."

"That's what happens when your brother deserts you and you go through hell." I reply.

Liam's whole body shifts, the smile plastered across his face turns into a small frown. 

"Just give him a chance, Yeah." Mike says giving me a reassuring smile. 

"Ok." I say taking the seat opposite my brother.

"I just wanted to come to apologise and explain. If you still hate me at the end then you can take all this and I won't bother you anymore but if not then I thought we could take this and watch a movie." He tells me.

I nod at him waiting for him to get on with this explanation. He wiped his hands on his jeans and bit his lip and then he looked over at me.

"I know I haven't been there for you Teagen, I didn't know that any of that happened to you and I'm not trying to use it as an excuse but it is the truth. When Jack said he helped you out I just thought he meant a warning or something." He tells me.

"Why was Jack more important then me?" I questioned bluntly.

"He wasn't Teagen, it wasn't different. I had to build that bond with Jack and get him to trust me, I never had to do that with you because we grew up together. I was stupid and selfish but I wanted to concentrate on me and Jack." He tells me.

"I called you loads in the beginning why didn't you ever reply."

"I wanted to, I thought about you all the time but life wasn't turning out as I planned, I wasn't leaving for this independent life full of opportunities like I thought. Jack treated me like a kid, I got on a plumbing course. I didn't want to tell you." He explains

"I needed you."

"I know you did and I know it's not the same but if your ready to talk about it then I want to know what happened." He tells me. I take a big gulp swallowing the sweet I had been eating.

"Everyone picked on me, they only stopped when you were around and then when you left it got worse, this new kid H...Harley turned up and he started...well...he touched me up and everyone thought we were a couple but I hated him and he knew I hated it. We went into town one day and he said he was gonna buy me stuff to say sorry, I told him not to but he ended up shoplifting it all. We started running and he slung the basket at me and I was arrested." I began.

"--I got a tag and managed to set off twice, Mike had a massive go at me and I legged it. Jack picked me up a few days later, the charges were dropped but I was still angry, managed to get suspended from school, threatened with secure and told you and Jack hated me." I said sighing heavily and taking a deep breath. Liam gets up from his side of the room coming over and giving me a hug.

"But I am trying my hardest to turn my life around now." I tell him as we pull apart.
