I woke up to the sound of an alarm ringing, I turned over and hit my clock but the noise didn't stop. Half awake I turned to look only to see that it was not my alarm that was ringing but it was ear pericingly loud. I wandered out into the hall only to find everyone else doing the same. We all migrated down to the other end of the hall where Tyler's room was. A few people peered in and confirmed that it was his alarm.

Yet he was laid there with earmuffs over his head still asleep. I went into the room and shouted at him right next to him but he didn't even flinch. I took the earmuffs off to reveal that he was also wearing ear plugs.

"Pillow." I shouted and everyone just stared back at me clearly it was too early in the morning for any of there brains to be functioning.

I turned off the alarm and they all migrated back to their rooms. I grabbed a pillow from the spare room which was next to Tyler's and then got a glass of water from the bathroom. I hit him over and over with the pillow and then tipped the water all over him which woke him up. He stared up at me in confusion.

"I swear if I hear that alarm again tomorrow things will be much worse." I told him before walking out and going to get dressed.

I had a shower last night since I knew that the bathroom was going to be full this morning and there was going to be arguments. I pulled on my uniform and grabbed my bag and went down to the table.

"Your up nice and early, usually we don't see you till 5 minutes before we leave." Tracy joked.

"Stupid alarm. Not Funny." Was all I managed as I felt my eyes drooping, mornings were not good for me and I just wanted to go back to sleep.

"This will help." Tracy says handing me a greenish brown smoothie.

"Yeah If I want to puke everywhere." I moaned.

It wasn't long before we arrived at school, I wasn't thrilled about the lessons I had today. English was one of my favourites along with IT and any lesson where you didn't have to do much like music or R.E. Today I had Dance which I hated along with Maths, science and P.e. I honestly didn't really like any of them.

"Homework." Our maths teacher called. Mine was the last to be collected in.

"Teagen why have you not completed your homework." She questioned.

"Maybe cause you only gave it to us yesterday and we had a fire in our house last night." I say overexgerating a little.

"I only gave it to you yesterday because it wasn't that hard." She told me.

"I Know it wasn't but fire..in..the..house." I said very slowly just in case she didn't understand.

"Well Johnny managed to complete his homework on time."

"Good for him what does he want a gold star."

"Enough Teagen, dention after school." She says going back over to her desk to do the work.

"Wow so I have a dention for not doing homework which was literally impossible because our house was on fire."

"Your house was not on fire was it otherwise you wouldn't be here."

"YOU CALLING ME A LIAR?!"

"Be quiet Teagen, we are beginning our work now." she tells me.

"Johnny wasn't our house on fire yesterday?" I asked him.

Our teacher looked over at Johnny, as if asking him to explain but without saying any words.

"It actually was Miss Kenton. Gina left Tracy in charge and she made sapphire do dinner but she didn't want to and Toby did so he was doing it but then he got distracted by Carmen and Tee shouting and then the pizza's burnt and somehow the tin foil set alight and then someone dropped it and the floor was on fire." Johnny explains.

"They didn't need the whole run down you idiot." I mumbled except it came out louder than I meant to.

"Teagen." Miss Kenton scolds.

"So I am waiting for my apology, cause you know you called me a liar." I moan.

"Enough you will begin your work or you will not be in my class."

"I've got witnesses, 29 of them. Although geeky over there is gonna take your side so maybe 28." I say glaring over at Johnny who I knew would not stick up for me.

"Teagen Enough you are disturbing the lesson.

"I think your disturbing the lesson more, if you just apologised or you know didn't argue about the fire in MY house." I argue back.

"Detention." She shouts.

"You already gave me one remember." I say laughing at her.

"All week." She adds with a grin. I grumble and get up to walk out, there was no way I was sitting here listining to her now.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Somewhere better than here." I groan.
