The morning wasn't going to bad, I had science and English, at break I did get a detention for having a fight but that wasn't entirely my fault. Next I had my maths tuition with Miss Walker. 

"Teagen, time to actually do some Maths work.  Come on put the book away." Miss walker tells me.

I always started off reading, it helped me calm a little after break.

"Can't I just read for the whole lesson?" I questioned not wanting to do any maths work.

"It kind of defeats the purpose of taking you out of P.E to do Maths work if you don't do any." She tells me.

"Fine." I mumbled. She handed me the worksheet and started going through it but I couldn't concentrate on anything she was saying. 

"Teagen." She says when its clear I am not paying attention.

"I don't get it." I reply.

"Well it does usually help if you listen Teagen."

"I am listening, I don't understand Maths. I never have, probably never will and you going on and on at me about the same thing isn't going to change that." I argue, getting up to leave.

"Teagen."

"What!" I shout back.

"You walk out that door and you will get a detention. Sit back down." I didn't sit back down but I didn't leave either, I just kind of hovered in the door way.

"What has gotten into you?" She asks.

"Nothing."

"Really because all of a sudden you can't concentrate and your unpredictable. Anything you tell me, it stays between us if that's what you want."

"Liam's back" I mumble.

"Liam, your brother is back" She replies in a confused tone.

"Yeah he's back at the dumping ground and it just makes me so angry because he acts like nothings happened. I can't stop thinking about everything that's happened since he left. it's going round in my head 24/7 and I cant concentrate on anything else." I tell her.

"apart from reading."

"Yeah, it's always been something I used to escape the world. I can be someone different forget about my life for minute." I explain.

"Have you spoken to Mike about Liam, how you feel?"

"No."

"Well then I will make you a deal, you can continue to read for the rest of this lesson but you need to talk to Mike tonight and try and stay out of trouble." She tell me.

I managed to stay out of trouble for English since it was my favourite lesson and nothing happened at lunch but the afternoon took a turn for the worst with it being maths and French it was always going to be a struggle. 

"Sir what's the French for crap?" I asked loudly in the middle of a lesson.

"Teagen, this is a warning if I hear language like that from you again you are having an after school detention." The teacher tells me.

"Teagen what are you doing?" Jody asks.

"Erm...asking a question." I reply.

"Why are you being stupid?"

"Its called having a bit of fun jodes, you should try it."

"Oh yeah cause it's going to be well funny when you have a detention isn't it." she argues.

"Out what did I tell you about interupting my class."Mr Good win tells me. I go to get up but Jody has already beaten me to it.

"Jody Jackson what are you doing?" Mr Goodwin asks her.

"Well I was going cause I was the one talking." She tells him.

"I was talking to Teagen." He replies. 

"Yeah but she was only telling me to....stop....coping her work." She lies on the spot before leaving the classroom. 

"What did you do that for?" I ask as we leave the lesson later that afternoon.

"Getting you out of trouble." she tells me.

"Well I didn't ask you too did I."

"Whatever Teagen."
