Joseph's POV
"Are you still not ready yet?" I frown at Latoya "You know we have an hour long drive?"
"I did tell her" Janet cuts in. "I'm gonna get dressed as soon as I'm done eating my breakfast" Latoya rolls her eyes. "I don't see what the big deal is anyway. It's not like she's having a grand opening or anything. She's just taking over some resturant" she shrugs.
"No.. she bought the resturant and we're going there to show her our support. It's a big deal when you own your first buisness.
"It's not like she started it herself. She's just taking over from the last owners"
"Why are you being so negative?" Janet frowns confused. "Well what do you expect? Most people buy shoes or a new outfit on an impulse. Not a resturant. I don't get why all you guys are so excited anyway. She's just spent a quarter of a million dollars of her husband's money on a impulse. If I were Michael, I'd be pissed as hell with her"
"Actually she spent some of the money her parents left her in their will and I've seen the books for that place and from the looks of it. She got a great deal. The resturant does great. The only reason the last owners were selling was because they needed the money to move away and to take care of a sick relative"
"Plus it wasn't an impulse buy. It's where her mom used to work and where she got her passion for cooking" Janet cuts in. "Her mom?" Latoya says in a slightly sarcastic tone. "Don't even think about bringing that up today" I frown.
"So we're just sweeping that under the rug too?"
"No, but until Leanne is ready to talk about it and knows what, if anything she wants to do about it. So we keep our opinions to ourselves. So don't even think about bringing it up and when we get to the house don't..."
"What!? I'm not going anywhere that death trap!" She gasps, cutting me off.
"Grow up Toy" Janet rolls her eyes. "Michael and Leanne decided to move in there and you need to get over it"
"Michael did? Or Leanne did and he's just going along with it?" Latoya raises an eyebrow.
"Enough! Just hurry up and get ready" I frown and leave the room.
It's been a week since everything happened and I was just as unsure about them moving into Leanne's old house as the others and apart of me still is. Especially after everything that's happened recently and in that house, but from what Michael's told me, the 4 of them are doing fine and Leanne seems to be more relaxed and calmer being in the house she grew up and around the the people she grew up with.
My main concern is that Leanne is still avoiding the issue of Carley and I'm worried that being there will set her back to where she was, but I'm keeping hope that she really is ok.

Leanne's POV
"Finally. What took you so long?" I smile when Michael finally gets back. "Sorry. I had some paperwork and stuff to sign at the hotel, then I stopped off at the store to pick up diapers and stuff for the twins and bumped into Gerry and he started going on about him being a kid in the war.. again" he explains and I giggle slightly.
I love Gerry and I've known him all my life, but he's the kind of person that likes to talk alot which although is sweet sometimes and he does have some amazing stories, but sometimes he can be a little too much.
"So are you excited for today?"
"Mhm.. I can't believe I actually own that place" I smile. "I still can't believe you bought a resturant like that" he smiles. "It was an instinct. As soon as Else said they were selling the place, I knew I had to go for it before anybody else did. That place holds alot of good memories for me" I smile. "So will you be making any changes or keeping it the same?"
"I have some idea's and I definitely want to change the name, but I'm not sure what I wanna name it yet so I'm gonna keep it the same for now" I shrug and there's a knock at the door.
"Hey What are you guys doing here?" I smile opening the door to Kathrine, Joe, Latoya and Janet. "We're not gonna miss your first day" Janet smiles, walking in. "You know I'm only gonna be cooking and stuff though right?"
"Of course. And now we can finally taste your famous cooking" Joesph smiles and I smile back then turn to the door confused.
"Are you coming in?" I ask Latoya, who looks a little nervous. "Of course. I was just admiring the garden" she smiles at me through pursed lips and sheepishly walks into the house and I notice Janet giving her a pissed off look, but don't say anything and assume they had an argument about something.
"Why don't I make us some coffee?" I smile walking into the kitchen. "I'm ok for coffee thanks" Latoya smiles and goes into the living room to see Ryan and Annabelle.
"Is she ok?" I mutter to Janet. "She's fine. She's just being... well... LaToya" she shrugs and I nod. I'm not quite sure what that answer means, but I don't ask anymore questions on the topic since I'm already really nervous about starting at the resturant today.
I know I'm only going to be cooking and helping out with other stuff, but I haven't worked in this place since I was 15. Apart of me feels kinda weird being back here after everything that's happened and what I now know, but there's something about this place that makes me feel safe.
Michael brought most of our stuff from his house and the 4 of us have been here about a week now and have changed my old room into a nursary for the twins and got them new cribs. Everythings been going ok here, but I'm still not sure about Michael and I. We haven't been arguing or anything and we still share the same bed, but nothing else has happened between us. I want to trust Michael again, I really do, but I'm finding it hard to feel it. The love I have for him is still there, but I'm finding it really difficult to have that trust I once had for him and he seems to understand that and hasn't been trying to push me.
We haven't spoke about Carley and I haven't heard from her since that day at the hotel and as far as I'm awhere she hasn't tried to look for me since. I still have no idea what to do. The easiest thing to do would be to move on and pretend like it didn't happen which apart of me wants to do and it would be really easy for me to do that now I've moved and other than Michael's family. Nobody knows I'm here, but apart of me does want to see her and ask her things. I have so many questions constantly running through my head which in a way I'm scared to ask her and I don't even know if she even can answer my questions because alot of things I want to know can only really be answered by one person and he's not here anymore.

Carley's POV
"I'm pretty sure that's illegal" Kayde frowns. "I'm just seeing if she's been there is all" I shrug putting my phone down.
"Doesn't she usually go there on a Monday morning to look through the books and stuff?" David asks and I nod. "Yeah, but it was just Michael there again. She hasn't been there for a week now" I sigh.
"Do you blame her?" Kayde mumbles. "She probably dumped him and skipped town" he shrugs. "Kayde, don't say things like that. This is hard enough for us without you..."
"With out me what!?" He snaps "Don't raise your voice at your mother!" David snaps back at him. "Why not? It's the only way I can get either of you to listen to me these days" he frowns. "Everybodies always going on about finding her and bringing her home, but she not! She's not coming home and.. "
"Kayde! Enough!" I snap cutting him off. "Well it's true! If she wanted to be here then she'd be here, but she's not! She knows who we are now and she knows how to find us but she hasn't and I don't blame her! If I was married to a liar and found out I had a lying mom that hid cameras in my office. I'd pack up my kids and leave too! She's not coming back and we need to just accept it!" He yells "She Just needs sometime to come to terms with everything and..."
"Whatever. I'm going to school" he cuts me off and storms out of the house. I understand Kayde being upset about still not meeting his sister, but he doesn't seem to understand how much this hurts me and David more than him, especially me. I had my baby taken from me days after she was born and I finally found her after 18 years and she's been taken away from me all over again.

Michael's POV
"So? What do you think?" I ask, pouring my family some more wine.
"This place is amazing. Foods great too" mother smiles. "Yeah it's all really nice" Latoya smiles at me through pursed lips. "So is this gonna be your job now? Waiting tables for your wife?" She asks.
"Nah, I'm just helping her out today because it's her first day" I chuckle slightly and join them at the table. "Well we'll definitely be coming here again. It's got such a warm homely feel to it. and it's nice they allow children in. Not many restaurants will allow children or babies" mother smiles. "Well couldn't just allow these two in... That wouldn't be fair would it?" I coo at Ryan and Annabelle who are sitting by mother.
"It's actually a really beautiful area too" Latoya comments in a slightly surprised tone. "Why would you think it wouldn't be?" I ask confused. "No reason. I just always usumed Leanne's family were.. you know?... poorer" she mutters.
"Why would you think that? They left her like 2 million dollars and a huge house" Janet frowns confused. "I don't know. I just assumed because she always seems to do more manual jobs than things other managers and owners do and like when she goes shopping she rarely buys anything expensive unless it's a gift for someone" she shrugs.
"It's called having good work ethic and being raised with good buisness sense" I frown, getting really irritated with her comments
"I have that too" she shrugs. "Not really" Joesph cuts in. "She's 18 years old and has her own home and buisness and her own money and works hard. You on the other hand work for me in my property company. Nothing's stopping you building your own buisness like Michael and Leanne or training to do something else like Janet and her child care courses" he shrugs, getting just as irritated with her as me.
"I don't need to start another business. Jackson properties is a multi million dollar company. I have plenty of money for the future" she shrugs.
"No. your father and I have plenty of money... your broke" mother cuts in and she quickly shuts up and Janet and I look at each other and smirk, trying not to laugh.

Kayde's POV
After a 30 miniute bus ride, I finally get to the hotel.
"Hi. Can I help you?" The woman at the desk asks. "Um... I'm supposed to be starting work here today" I lie "You seem a little young to be working here" she looks at me suspiciously. "It's for my school work experience. Is there someone in the office or..."
"Ohh. You one of the school kids? Your a little late. The other 4 got here an hour ago" she cuts me off. "My bus was late"
"It's fine. Why don't you wait in the office and I'll go find Mark. He's dealing with that work experience thing" she smiles, leading me into the office. "Take a seat. I'll be right back" she smiles and I nod and smile to myself at how easy this was. I thought I'd have to sneak in here, but it turned out to be alot easier than I thought.
As soon as the woman closes the door. I quickly go over to the shelf and take the camera from the top. It's really small and not very noticeable, but since I've seen the video on my mom's phone. I was able to find it quickly.
After putting the camera in my bag. I turn to leave before the woman comes back, but I notice a photo on the desk and it's a picture of Sofia or Leanne as she's now known and she's with her husband and twins. My mom and dad have told me about the things they found out Leanne went through growing up and it hurts to think of anybody going through something like that, but knowing that person is my big sister hurts me more.
As I'm looking at the photo I start getting really upset. She looks so happy in this photo with her family and after everything she's been through she deserves all the happyness she can get.
I know my parents are gonna flip out at me and probably hate me for coming here and taking the camera, but I don't care. Whether she's in my life or not. Leanne is still my big sister and she's been through enough and she doesn't need people spying in her or bringing more upset into her life.
I've always wished and prayed every night that someday I'd finally get to meet my big sister, but if that means her getting hurt then it's best to just leave her alone and let her be happy and live her life.
I stand staring a the photo and the office door opens and a man walks in with the woman from earlier.
"Hey, I'm Mark. Emma said your supposed to be doing your work experience here with us, but I cant seem to find you on our list. What's your name and school again?"
"Um... I've actually come to the wrong place. I just checked with my teacher and it the other hotel across town I was supposed to be at" I lie and the two of them look at me confused. "Sorry for wasting your time" I smile at them through pursed lips and quickly leave before they start asking anymore questions.
I'm know I'm gonna get alot of crap when I get home about this, but I really don't care. Leanne knows who we are and knows how to contact us. I hope someday she will because I really would love to meet her and get to know her, but I'll understand if she doesn't want to meet us.

Leanne's POV
"Mommy! Mommy! Look what I made" here a little girls voice and I'm clearing some of the tables and I see a little girl, sitting at one of the tables with her mom and she's showing her a picture she drew for her and I can't help but stand and smile watching the two of them together and it reminds me of how me and my mom were together, but the more I look at them the more I start to feel myself getting upset again.
"Leanne?" I hear a voice from behind me and turn and see Michael. "Are you ok?" He asks and I just nod, not saying anything and he looks over at where I was looking then takes my hand and leads me to the back.
"Do you want me to take you home?" He asks and I shake my head. "There 2 more hours before closing and I need to do stuff after"
"Then someone else can do it. If this is too much for you then..."
"It's not" I cut him off and I here the little girl again and look behind the door and see her and her mom giggling and playing together.
"You wanna see her don't you?" Michael says softly and I shake my head. "I don't even know her. She didn't raise me. My mom did and.." I pause and sigh slightly. "I don't know what to do anymore. Apart of me wants to forget about her and what I heard, but then everytime I think of my parents I think of her and... I can't do that to them. They were my mom and dad. Not Carley. Their the ones who raised me not her and their the ones who took care of and read me stories at night and told me they loved me and... They were my parents" I mumble that last part and he puts his arms around me and pulls me close to him.
"You don't have to feel guilty for wanting to talk to her" he says softly. "But that's just it. I don't know if I wanna talk to her or what I even wanna say because nothing she says is gonna make any of this better. It'll only make things worst. You said yourself you knew that wouldn't happen if I found out and you were right and..."
"No.. I was selfish" he cuts me off. "You deserved to know the truth and I was wrong for trying to take that away from you and I'm so sorry I didn't tell you as soon as I found out"
"Are you saying I should speak to her?" I frown confused and he shakes his head. "I'm not telling you to do anything. It wasn't my place to hide this from you. Just like it wasn't my place to hide what really happened to your parents. You deserved to know the truth and I was wrong for trying to keep it from you, but you know the truth now and you have to choose yourself what you want to do. I can't tell you which is the right or wrong thing to do. You have to decide for yourself. But whatever you decide I'm gonna be here for you" he smiles at me through pursed lips and I nod and wrap my arms tightly around him.
