New start
Leanne's POV
"Pizza's here" Michael sniffles, coming back over to the sofa and get's back under the blanket with me. "I'm really sorry I got you sick"
"It's just a cold, it's not your fault" he shrugs. "If I hadn't ran away then you wouldn't have been out in a storm looking for me" I mumble looking at the ground and he lifts my chin up so I'm facing him again. "Your not to blame. We're both now home and we're ok... we're very snotty, but we're ok" he chuckles slightly then goes silent for a moment.
"Where were you going?" He asks and I look at him confused. "Randy said he saw you at a bus shelter on his way home from work. Where were you gonna go?" He asks and I shrug. "I was only sitting there because it was raining and I was tierd from all the walking. To be honest, I had no idea where I was going. it's not like I had anywhere to go... or anybody" I mutter that last part.
"You have me" he smiles slightly through pursed lips. "Plus Randy. he didn't even know you'd ran away. At first he thought you just missed the bus or something, until you told him what happend and he called me straight away to let me know you were safe"
"I'm sorry I didn't come to speak to you about it first. When I heard your mom talking, I just assumed that..."
I'm cut off when Michael presses his lips softly against mine and smiles "I love you and I'd never want you to leave and none of that other stuff matters anymore"
"I love you too" I smile back and sigh contently as he pulls me in close to him.
"I ran away once" Michael says and I break away slightly and look at him surprised "really!?"
"Mhm... when I was a kid, I had this action man figure and I took everywhere with me and Jermaine used to always make fun of me and say I was gay for playing with dolls. Which is WASN'T a doll it was and ACTION FIGURE" he says defensivly "then one day he accidentally stood on it and broke it... well he claimed it was and accident" he frowns unconvinced then continues. "Anyway... I got really pissed and we got in fight and my mother an Joesph took his side and I got really mad and I'd had enough of them always taking his side"
"How old were you?"
"Eight"
"you ran away when you were eight!?" I widen my eyes surprised.
"Yup! I'd had enough. So I packed up my toothbrush, some clean underwear, made myself a peanut butter sandwich and left"
"Where did you go?"
"I didn't get far because I wasn't allowed to cross the street by myself... but I still stood my ground until mother called me in for lunch" he chuckles, making me do the same and pulls me in close to him and I sigh contently, resting my head in his chest.
I can't believe I was so stupid and selfish I was to leave the way I did, without even hearing Michael's side of things. He told me everything his mom said to him and about them going looking for me and even went to the brothel to find me. I felt really bad when he told me how scared he was and thought Mary had kidnapped me and took me back there, but luckily for me Randy got to me before she did. I know Mary and if she knew I was wondering the streets alone she would have come looking for me or at least sent other people to.

Lisa's POV
It's been a few day's since what happened and Mia and Emma have both been allowed time off 'work' because they got sick, due to wondering around the streets in the storm and naturally they've been bitches towards me and blame me because Mary sent them looking for Leanne.
I'm in my room, getting ready and Mia walks in. "I have some clients booked for today and Mary said you have to cover because I'm sick"
"But I have clients of my own that have booked me. Can't one of the other girls do it?"
"Nope. It's your fault I'm unavailable so you can deal with my clients" she shrugs. "But it wasn't my fault. How many times do I have to tell you? I didn't tell Mary to send you out in the storm. And I didn't know Michael was gonna just charge in the way he did. If I'd have known then I would have been more prepared and..."
"OH MY GOD!" Mia snaps cutting me off. "When are you going to get it through your thick skull!? Michael only came here looking for Leanne. Him and his family running around this place calling out her name, then leaving once they didn't find her should have been a pretty big hint!"
"He just said that so..."
"He could get in here. You already said" she cuts me off. "Michael IS coming to get me" I tell her sternly and she chuckles slightly under her breath. "I don't know what he said to you, but trust me he's not coming to rescue you like her did her. Me and Emma saw Leanne that night we went looking for her and she was getting in a car with Michael. He found what he was looking for and guess what!? That wasn't you!"
"What are you talking about? You and Emma said you didn't see her. If you did they why did you tell Mary you didn't?" I frown confused and she sighs heavily. "Because if we'd brought her back then Michael would have only come back to get her anyway, so it would have been a waste of our time bringing her back. Leanne's with Michael and she got her happy ending, which is something WE will never get. So why don't you do yourself a favour and forget all about them"
"That's not true" I shake my head. "Really?" She raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that?"

Randy's POV
I'm sitting in Michael's office and mother walks in.
"Michael hasn't turned up again?" She frowns. "Him and Leanne are still really sick" I shrug. "He had a slight cold, he's not dying" she rolls her eyes "and it's his own fault"
"How was it his fault, their sick?" I frown. "If him an Leanne hadn't been wondering around the streets at night during a storm, then they wouldn't have gotten sick" she shrugs. "If you hadn't threatened to call social services and have Leanne taken away then she would have ran away in the first place" I point out.
"She's 17 and I thought she could benifit from professional help and I didn't threaten her! I hadn't even spoken to the girl" she says defensively. "Well she doesn't need any professional help and just needs to be left alone. If you'd bothered to talk to her and Micheal in the first place then you would have known that"
"Well... if they'd have bothered to tell me the whole story and Leanne shouldn't have been listening in on private conversations anyway and..."
"Why don't you just and admit your wrong and go and speak to Michael" I cut her off. "Me!? What do I have to be sorry for? Michael's the one that Stole from his own family's company so he could go partying, gambling, buying painkillers and visiting brothels and purchasing people! And don't think you and your brother's are off the hook on that stuff either!" She frowns at me. "And we've apologised for all that and you know you wanna speak to him and he wants to see you too, so why don't you just go over there and talk to him?"
"I called him when he got home from picking Leanne up from your house and he wasn't exactly plesant towards me"
"He was upset then and he's had days to calm down now" I shrug. "There's nothing stopping him calling me" she shrugs still refusing to back down and admit she was wrong and I sigh heavily, rolling my eyes. "You know what the problem is? You and Michael are so alike and so stubbon. Yes he did some shitty stuff and yes he should apologise, but your not exactly perfect either so unless one of you makes the first move and says sorry first, then nothing's ever gonna get better"
"Why should I have to make the first move" she shrugs "because your his mother and you know wanna go over there and talk to him, so why not just admit it and go over there?"
I love my mother more than anything, but just like Michael. She's so stubbon at time especially when it comes to admitting she's in the wrong.

Michael's POV
Leanne and I are still on the sofa and there's a knock at the door.
"Can you answer it?" I groan turning to Leanne, not wanting to get up. "I can't I'm to weak" she groans back. "But, I went last time. It's your turn"
"But, your closer and I have smaller legs than you"
"That's the worst excuse you've had today" I chuckle finally getting up to answer the door.
"What are you doing here so late?" I ask answering the door to my mother.
"Charming! I come over to check your still alive and bring you food and all I get an attitude" she's says sarcastically walking in and heads into the kitchen.
"Michael! Look at the state of this place! Have you two just been sitting around living off pizza's for days!?" She frowns
"Of course not. We had Chinese food for breakfast" Leanne says coming into the room "that's no better!" She snaps at her. "Dont yell at her! Is this the only reason you came over!? To complain?" I frown and she sigh not saying anything for a moment then mutters something under her breath. "Huh?" I frown confused, not understanding a word she just said and she sighs heavily.
"I said I'm sorry. I didn't know the whole story about what happened to you" she turns to Leanne. "I'm sorry I didn't come and speak to you first before trying to make decision that weren't Um... any of my buisness and I was wrong" she mumbles that last part. "I'm sorry I ran away and got you all worried" Leanne replies and my mother turns her attention back to me and raises and eyebrow, waiting for me to say something. "I'm sorry for not telling you the whole story and for the other stuff I did... I was wrong too" I mumble feeling kinda of awkward, admitting I was wrong and I can tell my mother is feeling just as awkward.
"Well that's, that" she smiles wanting to change the topic. "I brought you both some soup, just heat or up when you get hungry. "Thanks" I smile slightly and my mother smiles back the same way. "Well i'll leave you both to get some rest. And for God's sake clean up this mess" she points at the mess in the kitchen and leaves us to it.
"That was nice of her to bring us some food" Leanne smiles locking the front door behind her. "Yeah, I felt kinda awkward having to say sorry though"
"Well you guys made up and that's what counts" she smiles and pecks my lips then breaks away. "It does look kinda messy in there" she says looking towards the kitchen and I walk over on close the kitchen door. "Cleanings all done" I chuckle going back over to her and pull her close to me and kiss her softly, leading us both back into the living room and onto the sofa.

Mia's POV
"See?" I shrug pointing towards the window and Lisa looks for a moment at Leanne and Michael and making out on the sofa then she turns away and sit back in the seat. "That doesn't mean anything" she shrugs. "Yes it does. It means Michael doesn't give a fuck about you and is never coming to help you"
"Look how happy he is with her" I point towards the window again. "Can we just go now!?" She snaps. "We don't want Mary finding out you snuck me out of the house" she mumbles and I start the car and drive away.
"I'm sorry I had to show you like this, but You wouldn't take my word for it" I say in a neutral tone and she doesn't say anything. "I know it's hard for you to except right now, but eventually you will. People like Leanne get a happy ending and people like us don't"
"How can you be so sure? If she did then.."
"Trust me. We don't" I cut her off and sigh heavily and tell her about Jason.

Lisa's POV
"I'm so sorry" I say, pretending to be sympathetic after she tells me about some guy she was once in love with, while secretly smiling to myself.
This whole time I thought that Mia hated me and was happy for Leanne, but it turns out that she actually hates that little brat, just as much as I do and now she's trusted me with that little sob story, I can use that to my advantage and now I know she feels the same way I do, it'll be easier for me to get rid of Leanne now I'll have somebody on my side.
