Leanne's POV

"Watch'a doing?" I smile going into the living and Michael is sitting on the sofa writing something. "just going over some last minute stuff, before your party this weekend" he smiles and pulls me onto the sofa with him and pecks my lips.

"You know you don't have to do all this" I smile looking at what he's been writing. "I know, but I want to" him smiles taking his notes back from me. "Now are you sure you don't want a bouncy castle?"

"I'm sure" I giggle and roll my eyes playfully. "100%? Because I seen some really cool ones and..."
"You mean YOU want a bouncy castle?" I ask raising an eyebrow. "Kinda" he mumbles, looking a little embrassed. "Fine" I roll my eyes playfully and giggle at the excited look in Michael's face as he adds it to his list.

"I have to run to the mall with my mother soon to pick up some stuff for the party. Will you be ok here while I'm gone?" He asks, once he's finished writing. "I will, but i'll come with you. I need to get some stuff anyway"

"Nope. You can't come" he shakes his head. "Why not?" I frown confused. "Because I'm going to get your presents too"

"What are you getting me?" I ask casually "you'll have to wait and see" he smirks raising an eyebrow at me. "I'll see you later" he smiles and kisses me softly, then breaks away and head out to meet his mother.

I have mixed emotions about the party this weekend. I'm excited, because I'm going to be 17 and get to have a party, but I'm also upset because even though it won't be entirely the same as last year, but just like last year I won't get to be with my parents. It's going to be the second birthday I've had since they died and I still hate not being with them, especially on birthdays and I can't even go to their grave to visit them which makes it even harder.

Michael's POV

"I think she'd really like this one" I smile picking out a beautiful necklace with a heart shaped pendant on it.

"You don't think it's all a bit much?" Mother says and I look at her confused. "It's only $6,000" I shrug. "I'm not talking about the necklace. I'm talking about all this? The party, the gifts. I understand if she was turning 18, but 17 isn't really a big thing" she shrugs.

"I know, but last year was the worst birthday she ever had because she was... there" I mumble that last part. "And it was the first birthday she had without her parents, which is why I wanna make this year as perfect as possible. I know she'll still be upset about not having her mom and dad with her, but I can still do other stuff to make the day as happy as possible for her" I smile slightly.

"I'm guessing she's been visiting their grave alot lately, with her birthday coming up and all" She says sympatheticly and I shake my head and sigh. "She doesn't know where they are, so she's never been able to go"

"How can she not know? Surely they'd be buried closed to the church the funeral took place" she frowns confused. "She wasn't allowed to go to the funeral. Mary made her. You know? 'Work' that day" I mutter "and she refused to tell her where they were buried so she couldn't visit them"

"That poor girl" she sighs sympatheticly. "Which is why this year has to go perfect" I smile changing the topic slightly.

After all the shopping is done, my mother and I are about to leave the mall when I hear someone shout my name and me and my mother turn and see Emma and Mia walking over to us. "Aren't those the whores from that brothel?" Mother says in a hushed tone and I smile through purse lips, ignoring her comment as they walk over.

"I'm sorry I know we're not supposed talk to clients in the public but..."

"EX client!" Mother scoffs, cutting Emma off. "We um... we just wondered if Leanne was Ok now?" she mutter's feeling akward, due to my mother giving her and Mia death stares.

"She absaulty fine now. It was just a miscommunication" I smile through pursed lips. "So she's back with you?" She sighs relieved "that's what he just told you" mother shrugs coldy. "Yes and She's doing ok" I smile at Emma through pursed lips. "We actually have to get going. We're kind of in a hurry" I lie.

"What are we in a hurry for?" Mother asks when we get back to the car. "We're not. I just didn't want to be standing around talking to them is all" I shrug. "You weren't fussy or embrassed when she were paying them for sex" she says sarcastically. "Leanne's waiting at home for me" I sigh ignoring her comment and start the car.

I don't get why my mother was acting that way towards Emma and Mia since they haven't actually done anything wrong. All they did was ask me if Leanne was Ok, but even that pissed off my mother. I understand her being mad and disappointed in ME, but I don't think it's fair for her to take it out on the two of them.

Leanne's POV

I'm sitting on the sofa and Michael walks in. "Hey! Your back already!?" I smile going over to give him a hug then break away, sensing somethings wrong.

"Has something happened?" I ask nervously and he shakes his head. "I just saw Emma and Mia at the mall. Well they called my name and came over to be more precise"

"What did they say?"

"They just wanted to ask if you were ok after what happened the night I went looking for you and I told them you were ok"

"Did they say anything else?"

"No, but... I promised Lisa we'd help get her out of that place when I came out of rehab, but with work and trying to get back on track with everything, I haven't done anything to even try and I feel pretty bad I haven't actually done anything about it yet or even gave it much thought of how to help her"

"Do you have any idea's how we can help her?"

"Nope. It's not like I can just go over there and take her like I did with you and if I do go back there, i'll probably just cause her more problems. I don't know what happened after me and the others left, but I'm guessing Mary was pretty pissed with me and my family just storming in an running around the place. You don't think she would have done anything to her do you?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Why would she? You going there had nothing to do with Lisa"

"That's true" he mutters and sighs heavily. "What if we speak to the rest of your family? Maybe they could help" I suggest. "They'd probably flip out that we're even thinking about going near that place again, but I guess it's worth a shot" he shrugs. "Are you sure you ok with all this?" He asks softly and I nod. "I'm not gonna lie and pretend that I like Lisa. Because I DON'T, but I wouldn't want her to be there either" I tell him truthfully. "I love you" he smiles and pecks my lips "I love you too" I smile back and his smile grows even bigger and he pulls me in close to him and kisses me soft yet deeply.

Lisa's POV

After finishing up with a client, I head upstairs to take a shower and get changed. when I go to my room Mia walks in, closing the door behind her.

"Me and Emma saw you ex husband today" she says in a hushed she tone. "You saw Michael!? Did he give you a message for me? What did he say?" I ask hopefully. "He told Emma that he found Leanne and the whole thing was just a missundersanding and that she's back home with him, which you obviously knew that part"

"Did he say anything about me?" I ask and she shakes her head. "I over heard him talking to his mother and he was just going on and on about a birthday party he's throwing for Leanne and what presents to buy her" she shrugs and I nod not saying anything. "I'm sorry. Emma was doing all the talking and I didn't wanna ask to many questions in case she got suspicious"

"It's fine" I fake a smile through pursed lips. "Are you ok?"

"Mhm" I nod, trying not to cry in front of her. "I'm really tierd. I have another client booked in an hour so I'm just gonna take a quick nap"

"Ok, I guess we can talk more later" she says softly and leaves and as soon as the door closes I break down in tears.

Michael promised me he'd get me out of this place, but now I know he's never coming for me. I've tried pushing those thoughts aside and kept telling myself he will come and get me and after seeing him with HER the other night through his window and now he's busy planning parties. It's finally clear that he isn't coming and never had any intention of trying to help me.

Michael's POV

"Why are you even bothering? You said yourself, Lisa went there willingly just like most of the girls" mother shakes her head when Leanne and I tell her what's going on.

"Most of them, doesn't mean all of them and Lisa didn't go there for that. Mary tricked her into believing she was just being a friend and letting her stay there for a few nights after she got kicked out of her apartment. She was forced to work there like I was and like some of the other girls there" Leanne tells her and she doesn't say anything for a moment.

"What do you expect us to do? From what you two have said, if we just go in there and drag her out. That woman is just going to send people to find her an take her back anyway and you said the police already know about it, so there's no point calling them"

"That doesn't mean we shouldn't try and just leave her in there" I frown.

"Why not just burn the place down" Randy shrugs. "You can't just burn down a building stupid" Joesph frowns at him. "Why not? If there's no building then there's nowhere for Mary to keep her anymore" I shrug.

"And what about the other people inside?" Leanne cuts in. "Then they'd be free from that woman too" Janet cuts in. "Have you all gone crazy!?" Mother snaps shaking her head. "Well do you have a better idea?" Randy shrugs. "No! But you can't just go around burning down buildings!"

"I'm sure there's another way we could do this" Joesph cuts in. "How?" I shrug. "Have you spoken to Lisa?"

"No. I don't have her number and I can't just walk in and ask to speak to her"

"How can you not have her number? You were married to the woman" he frowns confused.

"Mary gives the girls new phones, so nobody can contact them and they can't try and call for help" Leanne answers.

"What if we send somebody in to pretend to be a client and pass on a message to her?" Mother suggest. "That could work. The only people in the rooms are you and the client" Leanne says. "What should we say though? And how could she pass on a message to us?" LaToya asks. "We could just give him a piece of paper with my number on it so she can call when it's safe for her to talk" I shrug and we continue talking trying to figure out how we can help Lisa and maybe even the others.

Lisa's POV

I haven't been able to stop thinking about what Mia told me about Michael all day and the more I think about it the more pissed I'm getting.

Before that little slut came onto the scene Michael would have never just walked away and left me in a place like this, but SHE'S  changed him. Michael was a really sweet and kind hearted person before Leanne came along and brainwashed him against me. I know I did some shitty things to Michael in the past, but he even said himself that if he hadn't met Leanne then he would have taken me back, but thanks to her I'm in this hell hole while she's out there living MY life and the man who I'M supposed to be with.

Leanne has taken everything from me and she's not going to getting away with it. She's stolen my entire life from me and I'm going to make her pay for what she's done to me.
