Kelly's POV

"Are you fucking serious!!?" I snap in a hushed voice after Alex tells me what him and Michael were talking about. "Just calm down. Trust me he...."

"Calm down!? You do realise he's gonna run straight to the police the first chance he gets!?" I snap. "No he's not. Trust me. You weren't there. Michael's totally into it just like us"

"And how can you be so sure he wasn't just setting you up? You fucking idiot! He was probably just saying that stuff so he can get rid of us. You don't think it's weird how nice he's being considering we told him we were taking Leanne?"

"At first I did, but it all makes sense now"

"What do you mean?" I frown "think about it? He even admitted to me he knew how old Leanne was at the time and it was pretty clear he got off on it and when we were talking it was like he was hinting that he wanted younger"

"Hinting?"

"Well he wasn't gonna just come right out and say it, but as soon as I started talking he was more relaxed and was really eager about trying it so um..."

"What?" I frown sensing there's more. "I kinda invited him to come with us tonight and..."

"You what!?" I snap cutting him off. "Why are you gettig so mad? This is perfect" he shrugs "how is this perfect?"

"Michael only liked Leanne because she's young, but she's 17 now and clearly wants younger so if we take him with us to a few meetings and introduce him to some people. He'll soon make a new little friend which means..."

"He won't be interested in Leanne anymore" I smile realising where this is going. "Exactly"

I was really pissed and worried when Alex told me he told Michael about our little secret and I'm still a little skeptical, but from what he told me it all makes sense and this is perfect. We can take him there and it'll be so much easier to bring Leanne to Mary once Michael is distracting by someone new. I haven't called or told her about our plans yet because I know she'd freak if she knew Michael knew about mine and Alex's secrets, but once we get Leanne to her she'll be more than happy.

I haven't spoken to Michael yet because his mother has been around him the whole time, but I noticed him look over at me every now and then like he's unsure or feels guilty which I have to admit me and Alex felt the same way the first time we went to a meeting.

Michael's POV

I've noticed Kelly looking at me every now and then and the closer the time gets the more sick and disgusted I'm starting to feel. I know I won't have to do anything, but just the thought of what these people have been doing makes me sick and I'm still not sure if I'm going to be able to handle this.

I'm on my way back from the bathroom and Alex is waiting by the door for me. "We're gonna be going soon. You um... You still in?" he mutters in a hushed tone and I nod. "I just wanna go and see Leanne first"

"I thought she was still sleeping?" He frowns confused. "She is. I just wanna check up on her before I go is all" I say and he nods "hurry up though. I don't wanna be late and miss all the good ones" he says and again I nod. "I'll be really quick" I tell him and quickly make my way to Leanne's room.

"Hi" I whisper to the doctor in a hushed tone walking into Leanne's room "how's she doing?"

"She's doing much better" she smiles and finishing injecting her medicine. "Has she still not woken up yet?"

"She woke up briefly, but just like before she fell back to sleep" she explains an I nod sitting beside her bed. "She's going to be ok. It's just going to take time" the doctor smiles at me through pursed lips. "I just wanna take her home already and forget all this ever happened" I sigh. "Well I can't guarantee about the forgetting part, but she'll be better and home before you know it. I'll give you a moment" she smiles leaving the room.

"I'm gonna have to leave for a little while, but I'm gonna be straight back as soon as I can ok?" I whisper, stroking the side of her face as she sleeps. "I love you so much" I croak and lean over and peck her lips tenderly. "I'll see you real soon, I promise" I smile at her through pursed lips and quickly compose myself before leaving the room.

"Hey, how's she doing?" Joesph asks as soon as I leave the room. "She's ok, just sleeping"

"Has she woken up yet?"

"Um... a little but..."

"She's awake?" I hear Kelly walking down the hall with Alex. "Umm... "

"I wanna see her" Kelly interups me. "You can't. She's sleeping" I shake my head, not wanting her anywhere near her.

Kelly's POV

"You just said She was awake" I frown confused. "She was... briefly, but the doctor said she'll keep doing that for awhile"

"Did she say anything?" I asks nervously and he shakes his head. "We didn't talk, she was really dazed and then fell asleep"

"Did you say anything about us being here?" I ask trying to sound casual and again he shakes his head. "The doctor said it'd be awhile before she's talking and stuff so she probably wouldn't have known what I was going on about anyway" he shrugs and I sigh slightly to myself in relief. Luckily for us she's not able to talk right now, but she will be soon which means we have to hurry up and get this done as soon as possible.

Michael's POV

I really didn't want Alex and Kelly finding out that Leanne has woken up a little because I know that now their gonna be panicking which the police told me to try and prevent.

"It um... it's getting pretty late, maybe you wanna go home and get some rest now that Leanne will be waking up soon" Alex says in a hinting tone and I nod nervously.

"I guess I could do with some sleep" I mumble. "I'll drive you home" Joesph smiles "We can drive you" Kelly says, cutting me off as I'm about to speak. "We're on our home anyway. We'll drop you off on the way"

"It's ok. I can drive him" Joesph says. "Why don't you stay here with Leanne? I'll be back later" I turn to him and he looks at me confused. "I really don't mine" he says in and unsure tone "it's fine. Alex and Kelly are leaving now anyway. I'll call you later"

"Um... ok" he frowns suspiciously an I walk away with Alex and Kelly. Even though I have to go with Alex and Kelly, I was really hoping that Joesph would have put up more of a debate about me leaving with them or anything to give me an excuse to get out of this somehow.

The three of us are getting into Alex's car and my mind is racing over what to do. Apart of me wants to just make and excuse or just run away, but I know if I do then more people at gonna get hurt and I can't just stand back and do nothing.

"I need you to give me your phone" Kelly says bringing me from my thoughts and I look at her confused. "Why do you need my phone?"

"It's just a precaution. No phones are allowed in the building. You don't want anybody getting any pictures or videos of you do you?" She asks and I shake my head and hand my phone over to her.

"Relax. Your not gonna get caught. That's why we do all these safety measures and give up our phones. You'll get it back when we leave" Alex smiles and I smile back through pursed lips then turn and look out of the window. The police never told me what kind of car would be following us in so I have no idea what I'm looking out for, but I'm really hoping their close by.

"Got a little treat for you" Alex smiles handing me a picture "what is it?" I look at him confused. "Her names Katie. She's just turned 9 last week"

"Is she your neice?" I ask looking at the photo of a sweet little girl, sitting on a swing set smiling happily into the camera. "I wish I had a neice like that" he chuckles slightly. "Her uncle's a good friend of ours" he explains. "And tonight when me and Alex are with our little friends you and Katie can get to know each other and hopefully become good friends too" Kelly smiles and I don't say anything trying my best to control my emotions, but the more they keep talking the more sick I'm feeling and the more strength it's taking to keep my composer and stop myself from punching both of them.

Kelly's POV

I was unsure about Michael at first, but by the way he willingly gave up his phone an seems pretty eager to get to the house, this is something he's clearly been wanting for a long time.

"Are we here?" Michael asks when Alex stops the car. "Here we are!" I turn to him and smile.

We get inside and we introduce Michael to a few friends of ours. He hasn't really said much and keeps looking around, but I'm guessing it's just nerves.

Michael's POV

As I'm stood waiting, I keep glancing at the door hoping someone comes in soon and Alex walks over with his friend and the little girl from the photo he showed me in the car. Only this times she's not happy and smiling and now looks terrified.

"This is my friend Keith and this is his beautiful niece Katie I was telling you about" Alex smiles pointing at the little girl. "Now you be a good girl and go upstairs and play" the guy says to her sternly, pushing her into my direction and she nods nervously walking over to me.

We get upstairs and I close the door and walk over to Katie. "It's ok, I'm not gotta do anything to you. I promise" I whisper to her and she stands looking at me nervously. "Has your uncle brought you here before?" I ask and she nods. "Are you gonna hurt me now?" She croaks trying not to cry and I shake my head. "Where's your mommy and Daddy? Do they know about this?" I ask softy and she shakes her head. "They went away for the weekend and my Uncle Keith said they'd be mad at me and I'd be in trouble if they found out I did bad things with him and his friends" she says and begins crying and sit on the end of the bed and sit her on my lap and hold her close to me.

"Sweetheart, you haven't done anything wrong. Your uncle and those people down there? Their the bad people not you and I promise you, your mommy and Daddy won't get mad at you" I say softly whiping her tears away and she starts to feel more relaxed, but still seems scared of me. "You like kitty cats?" I ask pointing at her shirt that has pictures of cats on it, trying to keep her calm and she nods and smiles a little. "Their my favourite thing in the whole world"

"They are!?" I smile and she nods "mhm... I have an orange one with stripes. She's called Molly" she smiles proudly. "Do you have a kitty?"

"Yeah, I have a baby one. He's called Bugsy and he's black with little white paws"

"Did your mommy get him for you?"

"Leanne... My girlfriend did. She loves animals too. Especially kitty's" I smile "where is she now?" She ask curiously. "She's in hostpital right now. She umm... she's not feeling very well right now" I mumble looking at the ground "I want my mommy and daddy" Katie suddenly whimpers and I pull her in tightly. "I know sweetheart. And you will real soon. I promise" I croak trying to stay strong for her and pray to myself that somebody comes soon.

I'm about to speak when I hear yelling and people running and banging around, which makes Katie jump. "Stay right there" I say softly opening the door slightly and I see a whole bunch of people running around and people being handcuffed and I close the door and go back to Katie, who looks terrified.

"Some police officers are gonna come in here in a moment and I need you to be a really brave girl and go with them and tell them what you told me and tell them everything your uncle Keith did ok?" I say calmly and she shakes her head. "I'll get in trouble and everybody will be mad at me" she whimpers. "Nobody's gonna be mad at you and you won't get in any trouble, I promise" I say softly. "Can you promise me you'll tell them?" I ask and she nods. "What's your name?" She mumbles

"It's Michael" I smile at her and she smiles back and the door swings open and two police officers walk in, one of which I spoke to earlier and he starts hand cuffing me while the other goes over to Katie.

"You need to struggle" he whispers to me and I do just that as he leads me out of the house and into a police car.

I'm sat waiting in the interview room go what felt like hours and finally the officer comes in.

"Here you go" he smiles at me through pursed lips handing me a thick folder. "What's this?" I frown confused opening it. "That's every bit of information we could find on the Mason's. Just like you asked for"

"Thank you" I mumble "a deals a deal" he shrugs. "Will all those people get locked up now?" I ask "those sick fuckers are gonna go away for long time. I'll make sure of that" he says and I nod "there's another thing I wanted to tell you before you leave. We've also found Leanne's aunt Mary. It turns out she was the one behind Alex and Kelly showing up at the hostpital"

"She What!?" I gasp "apparently she's been black mailing them and said she'd go to the police about what they've been getting up to again if they didn't get Leanne for her"

"How did you find out?"

"Well when the police busted in. They assumed it was Mary that told the cops not you and blabbed about everything. They thought it'd help get them off. Which it won't" he chuckles slightly at the thought.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asks and I shake my head. "I'm gonna take a taxi and get back to the hostpital" I mumble and he nods "thanks again for helping us with this"

"Is Katie ok?" I ask and he looks at me confused. "The little girl I was in the room with. Is she ok? Did you find her parents? "

"Her parents left with her a few moments ago. She's pretty shaken up, but she's safe now" he smiles and I smile back.

After finishing up at the station I head straight back to the hostpital.

"We've been trying to call you. Why didn't you pick up?" Joesph asks when I get there.

"Oh, fuck! They still have it" I sigh to myself remembering I gave my phone to Kelly. "Who?"

"It doesn't matter. What's happened? Why were you trying to call me? Is Leanne ok?"

"Did they rob you!?" He snaps ignoring my question. "I knew I shouldn't have let you go with them! I just.. "

"I haven't been robbed. It's fine" I cut him off "then what happend?" He frowns confused

"Michael!" My mother smiles walking out of Leanne's room. "What's go in on? Is Leanne ok?" I ask rushing over to her.

"She will be once she sees you. She's been asking for you"

"What do you mean? Is she..." I pause and look in the room and smile seeing Leanne sitting up on her bed.

"Michael!" She smiles as I walk into the room. "Hey, baby girl!" I smile rushing over to her and wrap my arms tightly around her.

"We've been trying to call you. Where were you?" Joesph asks walking into the room.

"I just had something to do to. We can talk about all that another time" I mumble. "But I'm here now and I'm never leaving you again" I smile still not taking my eyes of Leanne.

"I'll give you both a moment" Joesph says and leaves the room.

"I've missed you so much" I smile and kiss her tenderly "I love you" I whisper onto her lips "I love you too" she whispers kissing me back the same way.
