Alex's POV

"What are we gonna do now?" I say in a hushed tone to Kelly. "She's sleeping now but...."

"Just try and relax. We just need to figure out a way to get in there alone" she says calmly trying to think. "How? Michael is determind to be there when she wakes up. He won't leave her alone and he won't go anywhere until he speaks to her" I point out. "The kid also hasn't slept in days. You saw what he was like earlier. He could barely keep his eyes open. We just need to try and convince him to get some rest and once he does, we just wait until Leanne's awake and go in there" she says confidentiality. "But the doctor said nobody can go in there while she's asleep"

"The doctors not in the room 24-7 we'll just have to sneak in there and...."

"I don't know about this anymore" I say nervously. "The family's already on to us. Their constantly asking questions and..."

"And Mary has already given us the answers to every question they could possibly ask... with details" she cuts me off and I sigh heavily. "Just try and relax. They clearly believe us or they would have thrown us out of here by now"

"I guess" I mumble "she's out of the coma now so pretty soon all of this will be over and once Mary gets Leanne back, we can get our money and Mary will leave us alone" she smiles and I don't say anything. "Just stick to what Mary told us to do and we'll be fine. C'Mon we should get back inside before she wakes up" she says walking back into the hostpital and I follow behind her.

Michael's POV

My eyes flutter open slightly and I see the doctor standing over Leanne's bed and quickly get up from my seat.

"What's happened!? Is she ok!?"

"Michael?" I hear Leanne faintly say and I smile and sigh heavily hearing her beautiful yet faint voice.

"I'm right here, baby girl" I smile standing beside her. "What happened?" She mumbles trying to keep her eyes open.

"You were in a fire, but your ok now"

"Fire?" She mumbles confused and trying to keep her eyes open and I nod. "Why were you there? I don't get it?" I ask and the doctor cuts in. "It's probably best not to ask too many questions. The medication will make her pretty drowsy she says softly and I nod and turn back to Leanne.

"Umm... Alex and Kelly have been coming to see you and they said..."

"Who?" She mutters "You mom and dads friends" I say softly and she looks at me confused and keeps closing her eyes. "You know them right?" I ask and she doesn't reply.

"Maybe it's best you let her get some rest for awhile" the doctor says. "But I..." I begin then turn and see she's fallen back asleep.

"She said she didn't know them and..."

"Leanne's just been given some very strong pain killers. She's bound to be a little dazed. Why don't you let her get some rest and talk to her when she's more alert?" she smiles at me through pursed lips and I nod leaving the room.

"How's she doing?" My mother asks when I leave the room and I tell her what she said.

"But the doctors said she'd be a little dazed for awhile and you said she didn't even remember what happened the fire"

"She doesn't, but they said they've known her since she was a kid. Surly she'd remember them?" I frown still unsure. "Maybe she'll remember when she's more alert and sees them"

"I guess so" I mumble still little unsure.

Kelly's POV

Alex and I get back inside the hostpital and we're on our way to Leanne's room when we're stopped by Joesph

"Is everything ok?" I ask pretending to be concerned. "How did you know all that stuff about Michael?" Joesph blurts out, ignoring my question. "I told you. The police told us" I shrug. "But Michael didn't tell them any of that stuff until shortly before you two arrived and the police are not allowed to tell you stuff like that?"

"Well they did. how else would I have known?" I shrug "and how your son isn't locked up for what he did is beyond me" I say with an attitude and he doesn't say anything for a moment.

"How did you know Leanne's parents again?" He asks ignoring my comment. "We already told you. I met Anna when we both worked at the same restraunt and we soon became good friends with each other families"

"And you've known Leanne since she was a baby?"

"Yes? Anna and Ryan had her a year into her working at the restraunt. Does any of this matter?"

"It does if your trying to take her away"

"She's 17 and we're her legal gaurdians. It's not like we're trying to kidnap her. Mary and your son were the one's that did that" I shrug. "Michael didn't kidnap her"

"Purchased her then" I roll my eyes and he's about to speak when Michael walks down the hallway.

"What's going on?" He asks walking closer to us. "I was just asking Kelly a few things about Leanne's parents. Did you know her mother worked in a restraunt?" Joesph asks him and he nods. "Yeah, Leanne said her mom used to take her there sometimes" he replies. "See? Now if you don't mind I'd like to see her"

"She's sleeping at the moment" Michael says. "But the doctor said she'll be awake soon" Alex frowns confused. "And she will, but right now she's resting and the doctors won't let anybody in there"

"Have you spoke to her yet?" I ask sensing something off about him and he shakes his head. "I went to the room, but she was still asleep and the doctor wouldn't let me in" he shrugs and I sigh to myself relieved he hasn't managed to speak to her before us.

"You look exhausted. Why don't you go home and get some rest while she's sleeping?" I say softly "I'm fine here" he shrugs. "You do need some rest" Joesph agrees with me, but Michael still insists on sticking around which is really pissing me off especially now Leanne is out of her coma.

Michael's about to speak when my phone starts ringing. "Excuse me. I have to take this" I say quickly walking away from them

"Hello?" I answer once I'm in the women's restroom.

"Well?" Mary says. "She's out of her coma, but she's sleeping"

"So wake her up"

"I can't. Michael and the others are there"

"We had a deal" she says sternly "I know and we're doing are best but..."

"But nothing! Just get Michael out of the way before she wakes up and starts talking"

"How? We're trying are best but..."

"I'm not fucking around with you Kelly!" She snaps cutting me off. "Either you bring Leanne back to me or you don't get paid and the police will be finding out what you and your husband are still up to in your free time" she says and hangs up before I can speak and I stand nervously in the restroom trying to think of what to do.

I'm walking back over to where everybody is and I stop in my tracks when I see two police officers and quickly hide behind a wall and watch as Michael is speaking to them and then walks away with him.

"What's going on?" I ask nervously walking over to Joesph. "The police just wanted to ask Michael some more questions about the fire" he explains "where's Alex?"

"He went to the men's room" he says and sigh to myself in relief now Michael is out of the way, we have a better chance at getting to Leanne. now we just need to figure out what to do about the others.

Michael's POV

"I thought we already went through all of this. Why are you asking me again?" I frown confused "It's just standard procedure. Has there been any change with Leanne yet?"

"She's out of her coma, but the doctors said she's not gonna be ready for questions and stuff yet" I explain and he nods. "We will need to speak to her at some point though" he says and again I nod. "Is there's something else going on?" He asks sensing something and tell them about Kelly and Alex showing up and what they said.

"They told you a police officer told them what happened?" He frowns confused and I nod. "I thought you weren't allowed to do that"

"We're not" he says slightly annoyed by what I told him and I go silent for a moment unsure if I should bring up what Leanne said, but decide to anyway.

"...The doctor said she's just heavily medicated so she's gonna be confused about alot, but something doesn't feel right about them"

"In what way?" He asks and I tell him about the conversation I had with Alex.

"...They said their her god parents and have been close to Leanne since she was a baby, but not only has Leanne never mentioned either of them. it seemed like it didn't really bother him that I'd slept with Leanne or that I was her first time"

"How would he know you were her first time?" He frowns confused "they said the police officer that told them she was at the hostpital told them all the other stuff that had been going on and about me and what I told you that had been going on with us in the past"

"I don't remember you saying you were her first time when I interviewed you last time" he frowns confused "How else would they have found out if nobody from the police told them?" I shrug.

"What did you say their names were?" He asks and I tell him. "And they've been going to visit her at the hostpital?"

"Yes"

"Could you give me a moment? I just need to check a few things and find out what's going on here" he says getting up and I nod, confused as he leaves the room.

Joesph's POV

"Did you speak to them?" Randy asks and I nod. "Everything they say seems to check out with things Leanne has said in the past. Like about where her parents worked, birthday party's she had as a kid even her pets names"

"So their telling the truth?" He says and I nod "it would appear so" I sigh "there's just something about their answers though. They all seem a little rehearsed" He's about to speak when I get a call from Michael.

"Hey, I'm on way back. Is Leanne awake yet?"

"Not yet

"Is Alex and Kelly still there?"

"Yeah, I'm still not sure about them two. Something doesn't feel right and.. "

"I thought that too, but the police looked into it and they were telling the truth" he says calmly "You seem pretty calm about it. You do know what that means don't you?"

"Yeah, I know and I hate it too, but unless we stay on their good side we won't get to see Leanne anymore" he says and I'm about to speak when he cuts me off. "I gotta go i'll be there soon. Will you stay with Leanne until I get back?"

"Sure but.. " I begin but he hangs up before I can finish.

Michael's POV

"Now remember. What ever you do don't let your emotions get in the way or give off any suspicious. Just go along with everything they say" the officer says and I nod "but what if they don't tell me anything? Or get suspicious?"

"They won't. Just do it like we rehearsed and no matter what..."

"Stay calm. I know" I roll my eyes "I don't see why you don't just arrested them now"

"Because we need proof and we need you to help us with that"

"And then you'll give me the information I wanted?" I ask and he nods "that was the deal. now get in there" he says an I quickly get out of the car and make my way inside the hostpital.

Joesph stuck around for awhile then after he left I made sure to spend as much time talking to Alex as possible since out of the two of them, he seemed the most talkative and approachable. I didn't mention or ask any questions about how he knew Leanne or her family and barely mentioned her at all and he seemed to start getting more relaxed around me.

The two of us are sat talking outside Leanne's room while Kelly and my mother went downstairs to get some more coffee and I'm finally alone with one of them.

"You know Kelly and I don't mind staying here for a few hours, if you wanna go home and get some rest. You look exhausted" Alex says softly.

"I want to but... I need to be here went she wakes up"

"Why do you need to be there when she wakes up so bad?" He asks softly. "If it wasn't for me non of this would have happened to her" I sigh heavily. "Non of this was your fault. You weren't to know" he shrugs "I'm um... I kinda did" I mumble staring at the ground. "What do you mean?"

"I knew Leanne was only 15 the first time we... you know?" I mumble. "You knew?"

"I know it was wrong but, she was so cute and knowing she was a virgin just made me want her even more"

"Because she was a virgin or because she was young?" He asks "both" I mumble "I knew it was wrong, but she was there and.... I'm probably worst person ever" I mutter and he doesn't say anything for a moment.

"You um... you prefer... younger girls?" He mutters in a hushed tone making sure nobody hears and I don't say anything.

"It's ok. I'm not judging you. We all have out little preferences"

"You don't think it was wrong what I did?" I look up at him "age is just a number to me"

"Too bad other people don't see it that way" I say and he bites his lower lip and looks at me like he wants to say something, but is unsure.

"How um... how young do you like them?" He asks "Leanne was was only 15" I shrug "but if you could? You'd want younger?" He asks and I don't say anything for a moment feeling sick to my stomach that I'm having to sit and have this conversation.

"Would you?" I ask, already knowing the answer and he nods. "I have. There's something about that innocence you know?" He says with a slight smile. "How young have you?... you know?"

"Alot younger than Leanne was" he smiles and I clenched my jaw trying despretly not to say or do anything as he goes into details about some of the things he's done and where him and Kelly go in their free time.

"So you just go there and pick somebody out?"

"Pretty much. Kinda like when you used to go to that brothel only the sex is free and the women are younger and you have a choice of boys or girls. Whatever your into" he says casually and I nod looking at the ground feeling guilty for all the times I used to go there.

I may not have known how old Leanne was at the time or that her and the others were forced there by Mary, but that doesn't changed the fact that I still went there.

"Kelly and I actually have a umm... 'meeting' with some friends tonight. Why don't you come with us?" He says still in a hushed tone and looking around every now and then to check nobody's around.

"You mean your gonna? You know?" I mumble and he nods. "How young are we talking here?" I ask and he shrugs "whatever age you want them to be "but their young as in really young?" I ask and he smiles at me and nods and I bite my tongue trying despretly not to punch him.

"Where is it?" I ask and his smile grows slightly. "Someones eager" he chuckles slightly "I'll speak to Kelly and we'll all drive down there about 8" he says and I nod. "This is between us ok? I don't want you telling your friends about this place ok? The less people that know the better" he says and again I nod. I'm about to speak when I see my mother and Kelly walking over towards us.

"I'm just gonna go to the bathroom. Please don't mention this in front of her" I say and he smiles shaking his head. "Of course I'm not gonna tell your mother" he chuckles slightly and I smile back through pursed lips and quickly make my way to the bathroom

I rush into the bathroom and I just about make it to the toilet and begin throwing up after having to sit an listen to all that sick stuff Alex just said.

"You know you could have took the Mic before doing that" I hear a familiar voice and turn to see the officer that drove me here standing behind me.

"Sorry about that" I groan cleaning myself up and take the Mic off and hand it to him.

"Best you hold on to it. We're gonna need you to wear it tonight when..."

"I'm not going there!" I shake my head and he sighs heavily. "I know how difficult this is for you and I've been there, trust me the first time I was on a case like this. The things I heard still disgust me to this day, but we need you to go down there with them"

"For what? You already heard everything he said. Why not arrest him now?"

"Because if we do then we'll end up having to let them go because there's no actual proof they did anything, plus there's gonna be more of these sick fucks there and we can lock them all up at the same time"

"I don't think I can do this" I shake my head and he sighs sympatheticly. "It's not gonna be easy, but we need you to help us with this and your not gonna have do anything just go there and we'll have an uncover car follow you the whole time"

"How long will I have to stay there?"

"10- 15 minutes"

"That long!?"

"I get you don't wanna do this and to be honest nobody does. But think about all those sick fucks you'll be helping us get off the streets. Plus we had a deal remember? You help us with this and we'll give you every little bit of information we can get on Ryan and Anna Mason"

"Including where their buried?" I ask and he nods. "Everything you wanna know about them, we'll get it for you. Now will you please help us?" He asks again and I nod

As much I hate that I have to be around people like that. I know I don't really have a choice. Even if the police hadn't made that deal with me, I'd still have to do it. As much as I don't want to go anywhere near this place. If I don't then I would never be able to live with myself knowing I stood back and did nothing to help.
