Sage's P.O.V.

I'd told my mom I'd be staying at Shawn's house for a couple nights, until Jack left. I told her to tell me when he left. I can't handle being near either of the Jacks. I can't believe Jack Johnson would lie to me. After Jack Gilinsky, I can't believe he would play with my feelings and tell me that Jack loves me back, when it's clear all he wants to do is ruin my life.

And my mom! She told Jack! She promised not to tell him, and she did. I swear to god, if she tells Jack G...

"Sage?" I was snapped out of my thoughts to Shawn repeatedly calling my name. "Sage, did you hear me? What happened?"

I sighed and rubbed the sides of my head. "One, my mom told Jack." I started.

Shawn made a face. "Jack G?"

I shook my head. "No, Jack J. And then, Jack J has the nerves to tell me that Jack G loves me back. He lied to me! He was my best friend since we were little, and he lied to me! And right after Jack comes back into my life too! I can't stand the thought!" I began to cry, it was all overwhelming me, I could feel myself falling.

Shawn rushed to my side as I fell, and he caught me. "Sage, it's okay! Maybe he wasn't lying." Shawn suggested.

That's what I want to believe, even though I know it's not true.

"Shawn he told me straight out that he hates me, Jack G never lies to anyone! Why would he lie to me?" I said.

Shawn shrugged. "I honestly don't know Sage," he murmured into my ear. "And I'm sorry that you have to go through all this shit. You don't deserve any of it. You deserve someone better."

I looked at Shawn. "Shawn, we're over. We tried it out, but it didn't work out, please don't do this right now." I begged him.

I saw Shawn's brown eyes drop. "I know." he sighed, kissing my cheek as I continued to cry.

I cried into Shawn's arms all night, thinking of how much my life has gone downhill.

Jack G's P.O.V.

It had been three days since Sage had been home, six days since I'd sent Jack here. I can't believe she's avoiding me.

Yes, she's avoiding me.

She's called the house multiple times, asking if I was still here.

It hurt inside so much.

I had been good with not cutting for the past month, but then I started again three days ago, and since then, I'd carved Sage's name into my arm one and a half times.

That's how badly I'm hurting.

I can't believe they haven't even noticed my cuts. I wear long sleeves all the time, it should be noticeable soon.

I walked up to Catherina and sighed. "I need to ask you a favor."
