Chapter 32

"Jayne bought a whole crate for them."

"How the heck did she even manage to bring all of that?" NAME gasped as she saw a full crate of weapons, and other unknown objects that she couldn't name off the top of her head.

Jayne chuckled as if NAME had asked the most stupid question of a lifetime, "It's because, dummy, I'm the systems and weapons manager in this darn group. If it weren't for me, none of you would have survived, or even came close to harming Katie."

"Collin has without our help."

"That's because he's a man, you idiot!"

"Oh..." NAME sounded as if she just realized this. "That would make sense..." she looked at Jayne. "That's a very good point! Glad you brought that up!"

Jayne slapped her hand onto her face. She gave off a disappointed sigh.

"What?!" NAME looked at the group, unsure why they were all.

They shook their heads as they turned their attention back to the mission at hand.

"As I was saying before I got interrupted..." Jayne glared at NAME, then looked back at the others. "I had gathered everything like you asked, as well as things that I felt were needed," she smirked softly. "Just in case."

Leola nodded, "Sounds good. You've never disappointed me before, so I trust that everything extra that you've brought is going to be useful here."

Jayne scowled, "Of course it's useful. When is my stuff ever not useful?"

"So far, it's been never. Though that's because I have made sure of it. You're the best ally out of you and NAME, and I trust you more with this stuff than I trust her."

NAME stopped her way to the group, "Excuse me?! Why can't you trust me? Why am I not a trustworthy person?! I demand to know why!"

Leola got in her face, "Look, do you really wanna know why you're, like, basically useless to the team?"

"Of course I do!" Her words stomped on the ground.

"You're useless because you're too stupid to know the difference between actually following orders, and knowing when to back off when it's not your turn."

"What's that supposed to mean?" NAME challenged.

"It means that you don't know how to listen. It's as if your ears are broken or something, or worse, that you're deaf! You want to feel like you belong somewhere? Then actually stick with this plan in time. If you don't, you better be ready to take a hike!"

NAME nodded as she slumped her head down in shame, "Alright... I'll be better this time, Le."

Leola smiled softly for a moment, "Also, can you please," her face started to change, "Don't call me Le!" She slapped NAME right on the cheek.

"Ow! That hurt!"

"Oh did it?" Leola mincked. "I thought that it was supposed to make everything feel better. What did you think it was going to do?"

NAME sighed and rolled her eyes, "Alright. I get it! You hate me. Let's just get this over with."

Leola nodded, "Alright. We will have our own fun as soon as possible," she turned back to both Jayne and Collin as she smirked at both of them. "Is everyone ready?"

They all nodded as they prepared for the upcoming battle.

Katie breathed out as she wiped away her tear stained face, "Thank you, Thomas. You've been an amazing friend."

Thomas grinned in reply, "You're welcome, Maggie. Anything for you, m'lady," he teased playfully with a small wink.

Katie laughed softly, though realized that she was more sore than she was earlier, and it hurt, but she did her best to ignore it, "You're always so funny!" She playfully slapped his arm.

Thomas chuckled, "Why do you say that? What did I do to get called funny by someone who is much more funnier than I ever could be," he returned a soft and playful punch to her arm.

She giggled, "It's because you are. You always have been, and I'm betting that you always will be."

Thomas chuckled and gave her a soft pat on the back, "Thanks, Katie. You're also an amazing friend. I would never ask for anyone better, because I doubt that it could ever get better than this."

Katie blushed a deep red, "Thanks, Thomas," she laughed shyly. "Why do you always have to be so sweet. You always end up making me blush like mad. You need to stop," she laughed once more.

Thomas chuckled, "It's because it's amusing and entertaining to me. I also think it's kind of cute."

Katie blushed and giggled, "How is that cute exactly? I don't find any of that cute."

"Well I do," he grinned.

Before anyone could say anything else, there was a loud scream coming from outside Katie's room.

Katie's eyes widened, "What the heck was that?"

Thomas shook his head, "I have no idea... We should check it out," he sat up. "Come on."

Katie nodded as she quickly left her bed, which ended up in falling on top of Thomas before he could move out of the way, "W-woah!"

Thomas was shocked at what happened, and couldn't help but chuckle in embarrassment, "Hey there."

Katie blushed brighter than she ever had before, "Hey," she didn't know what else to say. Shyness took over her whole body, and she had to look away, feeling bad for what she had just done. "S-Sorry about th-that... I, uh... I should get off of you then we can go see what's going on outside."

Thomas cleared his throat, "Yeah, that sounds like a plan."

Katie nodded, "Okay. Good. Hold on a second. Sorry," she started getting up to allow him to get up with her. She cleared her throat as stood up on her legs, helping him up, "Here you go. Sorry again for... all of that..."

Thomas took her hand, standing up to his legs, and ended up rubbing his neck awkwardly, "It's no big deal, Katie. It happens to the best of us," he gave her a smile. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you," Katie returned the smile. "Now, let's go see what's going on."

Maggie couldn't scream, even when she tried. The one time she screamed was her only way of letting anyone know that she was in trouble. Now that she was awake, she could clearly see where she was, and it was the main room. There was something covering her mouth. At times she could taste it when she opened her mouth. She couldn't bring her hands to her mouth since they were both tied up and behind her back. She tried getting out of her bonds, but couldn't do anything other than wiggle.

Laughter was heard from the distance, "I see that you got yourself in a rut, my dear," Collin seemed to appear out of nowhere. He smirked as he walked closer to Maggie in the light. His arms were behind his back, as if he was hiding something from her, "I'm glad that you finally decided to wake up."

Maggie looked up at him, "Where am I? This looks like our clubhouse. Are we at the club house?"

"You ask a lot of questions, don't you?" Collin chuckled. "I like that," he kneeled in front of her. "If you don't listen to exactly what I say, I will do things that are unspeakable to you."

Maggie gasped in shock, not knowing what else to say.

"That sounded like Maggie!" Katie called out to Thomas.

Thomas nodded, though it was Nick that called back, "Over here!"

The two ran to Nick in a flash.

"What's up, man?" Thomas questioned his best friend, wondering if he knew what happened. "Did you hear that?"

Nick nodded, "Yeah, man. I did. I don't know what happened. That definitely sounded like Maggie. I think she might need our help."

Katie grinned, "That's exactly what I said not too ago. I knew it!" She felt proud of herself for possibly guessing something right. "Then what are we waiting for!"

Nick chuckled, "I was waiting for you guys."

"Well, we're here now, aren't we?" Thomas stated in a matter of fact tone. "Let's go save our best friend."

Maggie backed away from Collin, "You're Collin, aren't you? That bully that she mentioned once to me? How you harassed her, and treated her like she was some sort of slave! If you're here for her, aren't you?" Maggie didn't even have to say Katie's name to have Collin know who she was talking about, "You'll have to get through me to get her."

Collin's laugh wasn't pleasant to Maggie's ears. It felt forced and even fake, "Oh really? You think that you will be able to stop us?"

Maggie rose a brow, "I'm not following? Who is us? If you are saying both you and I, I'm not helping you do anything to hurt my friends."

He smirked as another familiar figure came into the show, "You don't need to."

Maggie gasped, "Leola?!"

Leola rose a brow, "Do I know you?"

Maggie shook her head, "No, you don't. I've only heard of you from a few of my good friends."

Leola flipped her hair as she faked a smile, "Oh, and what do these wonderful fans of mine want to say about me? I bet they think I'm wonderful and the best in the world!"

Maggie smirked, "I hate to break it to you drama queen, but they don't. I bet you can be wonderful, you just need to be able to show that attitude to those people you come in contact with. From what I heard, you don't treat them well. I doubt that you treat my friend all that well either."

Leola was shocked and gasped, "What?! Like, how dare they speak, like, such terrible things to me? I'm, like, so perfect in any way, shape and form. Like, girl, you have no idea what I'm, like, capable of!" She flipped her hair behind her back once more, leaning into Collin.

Maggie rose a brow, "So, are you two, like, dating or something? Leola seems pretty into you, Collin."

Collin wrapped his arms around Leola, "She is, as well as I am. We are wonderful when we work as a team. Aren't we, Le?"

Leola looked at him in a loving gaze, "Of course, Col! Like, why wouldn't we be?" Her fake laugh was forced as she spoke. "We're just, like, too amazing lovers falling in love, like, each and every day! Without you, like, I doubt that we would, like, be able to do such a thing!"

Maggie rolled her eyes, "Alright, can you please stop saying the word like all the time? It's getting a bit excessive right now."

Leola's eyes felt like they turned to ice, "How dare you, like, assault me like that?! I will, like, come and beat you if I could!"

"Then why don't ya? Let's see what you're really made of!" Maggie taunted.

Leola smirked, "Don't tempt me, Maggie is it?"

Maggie froze in shock. The world around her looked frozen, "Alright, it is kinda crazy that I know your name, but how the heck did you know mine?"

Leola placed her hand on her hip as she looked devilishly at her boyfriend, "I have my resources."

"Also, you guys are loud in this house. It wasn't too hard to hear you from outside. I suggest that you make this place sound proof if you don't want anyone to hear anything that you would prefer to be... private," Collin laughed, which Leola laughed as well.

"I don't see what's so funny," Maggie looked back at the couple multiple times. "I have no idea why you think this is all a joke, but it's not. Nothing you are doing is funny. It's just stupid and full right wrong! I think you two need to work on your sense of humor some more."

"You need to work on having fun more often," Collin spit back. "Having fun is what makes life better. Leola and I would like to know. We've been having more fun than you could even imagine."
