The crazy doctor gang walked out of the third and the final class of the day. They are on the way to the main hall canteen to have late lunch, or you can call that early dinner before the moon and star competition training.

"I guess professor aunty has unique potential. Maybe that's why her 3-hour class feels like never-ending," complained Beam as he stretched himself.

"What the hell you're blabbering about?" questioned Phana as he spanked Beam's head slightly.

"Since Forth has been busy with moon and star competition together with the sotus, I was bored in my dorm. So I was watching this Thai series called The Gifted. It was awesome, Pha. The storyline was about a group of a student called gifted with special potentials. It's more like their superpower. Ohhh, it was very entertaining," explained Beam excitedly.

(Pardon me here, guys. 'The Gifted' was good, and 'The Gifted Graduation' is exciting with new twists every week. Even though it's not BL based story, but it's nice. Have you guys watch it yet?)

"I thought we have four assignments to submit by this week. Where did you get all this time to watch the series? And we didn't question you about the reason why you had to watch the series in the first place," commented Kit with an eye roll. He seriously doesn't need to know their active night routine. He could pretty much guess it.

"Ai Kitty, you were listening to me?" asked Beam as he fake surprise.

"Why couldn't I listen to you? You are right beside me, and you were shouting in excitement, you idiot," said Kit as he smacked Beam's head for calling him, Kitty.

"Ai Kit, are you okay? You look weary, na," asked Phana worriedly as he leads them to their table.

"Just got back to dorm this morning," replied Kit as he holds back a yawn.

"Where have you been? Don't tell me you got back from your hometown this week too. What is it this time?" asked Beam with an irritated tone but with a concerned look.

"We had a gathering last weekend. So, mom made me go back last Friday," answered Kit.

"Did you drive back after our late-night group discussion last Friday? Why didn't you inform us earlier? We could have change the timing for you or bring it to another day," said Beam while,

"And that wouldn't have been a trouble for us, Kitty. Why don't you just put yourself first? All you have to do was tell us," continued Phana.

"Come on, guys. I'm not that exhausted. I'm just sleepy. I'll take a nap after this," consoled Kit, but none of them seem convinced.

"No, you better hit the bed when you reach your dorm. Don't forget that I'm your neighbor. I'll make Forth knock down your damn dorm door if I saw the lights on," threatened Beam.

"You know what, you should be the mom in the gang. You nag a lot," said Kit as he just rested his head on the table while Beam and Phana take sit opposite to him.

When Beam turns around to get their order, Kit was already sleeping on the table. Poor guy must be exhausted.

"Get him his Pad Thai with Thai tea and for me," before Phana could continue, Beam already said the order.

"I'll get you your favorite Tom Yam soup with pink milk," with that, he walked away to the food stall.

Since it's Beam's turn to buy the meals, he left them both to rest while he lined up to get them food. It's their unspoken rule to take a shift to get food.

Phana stares at the sleeping kitten in front of him with his concerned eyes.

Phana's POV

We have been friends since diaper times. Don't ask me how I knew? I knew because my mom told me so. Come on, guys. Infants can't even see anything for the first six months. All they can see is light, and that's why Beam calls them cockroaches.

No offense, it's just an example. The infants will move according to the sound and light as how cockroaches or any other insects crawl.

The conclusion is, we have been best buddies since diapers.

Our parents are the perfect example of Asian passive-aggressive tiger parents. It was because they wanted us to be the best and made us go through hell lots of classes.

Beam's parents went through a divorce when he was 6. They divorced because Beam's father couldn't be happy and support his mother's occupation. She is a very ambitious woman. She is the best fashion designer in the whole of Thailand. How could you make her quit her passion and make her a housewife? That's the main reason why they had a divorce. She is the perfect sample of a diva.

Being her carbon copy, Beam is hard to control too.

He has a free spirit and is hyperactive. You can't make him do things that don't interest him. But due to his father's order, he had to attend all the classes me and Kit took. Since Beam's parents divorced, aunty didn't force him to do anything. She gave him the freedom to choose what he wanted to do, and he didn't do anything that could spoil her image. He always knew his limits.

Beam's mother re-married when he was 11.

He didn't like his stepdad at the beginning. He also ordered us to hate him too. But he betrayed us first and started to love him when Uncle Ben taught him how to use a shooting gun. We liked him too when he volunteered to teach us martial arts for our protection. His stepdad becomes his role model in the end.

My parents were angels in our parent's circles. Yes, they made me attend multiple classes, but they didn't force me to be the best. The final decisions were always in my hands. Even though they didn't force me to be the best, I being me always did my best in everything I do. I was happy and satisfied every time I gave my whole effort and got the results I wanted which made Kit go through hell.

If my and Beams parents were 75% Asian passive-aggressive tiger parents, then Kits parents were 100%. Whenever we have a competition in our academy or exams in schools, Kit will be damn focused and stressed to get the best marks and results. Since Kit was the last-born child of the family, his parents always compared him to his brothers and sister.

Kit was a late-born baby in his family. He had a ten years age gap between him and his elder brother. So, being compared and needing to being adorable all the time made him go through a lot of stress at that young age. He will please others, make others feel happy than caring about his feelings.

Kit thought that he needs to please others to get accepted in his family and the friend's circle. We didn't know he was compared to Beam and me until we reach high school. Kit got admitted to the hospital for low pressure and fatigue. It was due to studying too much and being part of all sorts of extra-curricular competitions in school.

Since the doctor in charge was Uncle Ben's friend, he informed us that Kit was under so much pressure due to his parents. That's when he opened up to us entirely. He always tried to satisfy his mother all the time. He will never say no to her. If he is feeling hurt or empty, he will shut people out. He will still be there with you, by your side, but you couldn't feel his presence. He will hide all his sorrow away. He would rather see his loved ones smile without any worry than burden them with his problems.

The only thing he fights back to her was about his ambition. His mother wanted him to be a musician. That's why she made him attend vocal lessons and learn multiple musical instruments.

Kit could play the flute, guitar, violin, and even the damn grand piano without a music sheet guide. Music is Kit's passion. Therefore, when his mother told him to be a musician, he declined the idea.

His only reason was, 'music is my passion, and it's my escape from all the stress I go through. If I choose it as my career, my mom will want me to be the best artist, and eventually, I'll start hating the only thing I love. I don't want to be like that. I always wanted to be a doctor and do volunteer services. If my mom is forbidding me from choosing my future career as well, then I can't obey that.'

Habits hardly change. The same happens with Kit too. He still tries to do everything that his mother told him to do. For example, he could have said no to his mother when she asked him to return home for the gathering, but he didn't.

He will always put others' feelings before his.

He is so selfless.

That's why I protect him all the time. He may seem strong from the outside, but he is so kind and fragile from the inside. If anybody hurt him or Beam, I won't think twice to kill them.

I hope he finds someone that he could share all his worries without having to think before ahead. He deserves the world.

"Wake him up, Pha," ordered Beam as he returned with their meals. He made two trips to the stall to bring all their food and drinks to the table, and Kit was still sleeping.

"Ai Kitty, wake up and eat this first. Then you can continue sleeping, na," Beam tried to wake the sleeping kitten again since the great Phana had no heart to wake the peacefully sleeping guy.

Kit woke up with a messed hair and droopy eyes. They managed to make him eat all of his dishes before that guy continues to sleep.

"Meng, I wanted to ask you guys something," stated Beam suddenly.

Phana and Kit look at him to show that they are listening and continue to devour their food.

"Are you guys interested in someone?" asked Beam as he looks at them with so much focus.

"As in, me and Kit, interested in the same person?" questioned Phana by showing hands between him and Kit.

"Wait, are you both in love or love the same person?" Beam stated in shock, only to be cut off by Kit's smack.

"What the hell are you blabbering again, Ai'Beam?" debriefed Kit.

"Let me cut the crap! Why are you blushing hard whenever Nong Ming is in your sight, and why are you so annoyingly lovely towards Nong Yo?" finally, Beam asked the question that has been bugging him for weeks now.

Beam's question made both Phana and Kit caught off guard.

Kits face was decorated with a light shade of pink, while Phana just had a smug smile.

"Ai Kitty, do you like Nong Ming?" asked Beam again.

Kit was silently eating his meal as if he didn't hear what Beam was asking him.

"Ai, Kit......,"

"Ai Kitty.....,"

"Kit......," Beam continued to call him non-stop until the former reply to him.

"Okay, fine. I like N'Ming. Both of you satisfied now," admitted Kit irritatedly.

"Ai Kitty, why didn't you court him then? Nong Ming seems like a nice guy, na?" interrogated Beam.

"Guys, I liking him is not important. He has to like me too. I don't even know if he swings this way. Why would a perfect guy like him pay attention to me? And even though I like him or progressed to have a relationship with him, it's not going to last long. So why would I waste my time in chasing him?" explained Kit calmly.

Now the overthinking, low self-esteem self of Kit shows up. He always had a very low self-confidence among them, even though he won't show it.

"Why so negative, Ai Kit. You will not know if you didn't try, na," spoke Beam.

"Guys, you don't understand," stated Kit tiredly.

"Try us," said Phana as he stands with Beam.

"I liked him at first sight. He was mysterious with his cold face, and his small friend was protecting him like a mother hen just sparked my curious mind. I thought he wouldn't talk to others, but he was calm and collected the next time I saw him. He even teased me and was friendly. I like his smile so much, and I wanted to shelter that smile," elaborated Kit.

"If you love him like this, what are you waiting for, Ai'Kitty? Just confess already," yelled Beam happily.

"That's the problem, guys. The more I watch him in the moon and star competition, the more reluctant I felt to approach him. He is so famous among the stars and girls from all the faculties. Why would he look at another man?

Some more, you know my mom wants me to marry a woman and have a typical family. She will never accept our relationship. So I didn't give them the chance to hurt my feelings. My feelings should be safe with me than being hurt by them. I feel content with him being comfortable enough to tease around.

What if I confessed and he became awkward with me. Trust me, guys. It's better this way," explained Kit calmly with his sad smile.

"I saw Nong Ming being cold to others during sotus, but he was so obedient and sweet toward you. Maybe he likes you too, Kit. I suggest you give it a try. Fight for your happiness, meng," advised Beam sincerely.

"This time, I'm with Beam, Ai Kit. It is your life. You can't live your life like your mom wished all the time. You have to put yourself first. You have to be selfish for once. If something goes wrong in between courting that nong, we will be by your side to pull you up again," added Phana.

Maybe he should fight for his happiness.

Maybe it's time for him to be brave and embrace the love he always wanted.

Maybe this is not a bad idea.

As Kit was in his deep thoughts, Phana cleared his throats to gain their attention.

"Guys, me and Nong Yo are dating," stated Phana out of nowhere.

"Oii, give me time to digest the first confession first, na," exclaimed Beam in surprise.

"Wait, when did this happen?" Kit was thrilled too.

The great Phana is finally paying attention to something or someone other than his books.

"I bought nong to dinner last week as a payback for the tom yam he once gave me," Phana didn't complete his line as he purposely drags the words.

"Don't stop, go on. We need to know the whole story," stated Beam, annoyed when Phana was not cooperating in telling them the details.

"He proposed to me," added Phana, only to be cut by Beam this time.

"What?!! Nong Wayo, na? I can't believe that small kid could be so brave," said Beam.

"You said that because you didn't see him get angry at sotus training when Ming fought with the seniors. He was emitting a dark aura," spoke Kit as he felt the goosebumps again.

"So, he proposed to me. Asked me to be his boyfriend and, I said yes," Phana finally completed his confession detail.

"Just like that, na meng," asked Beam in shock.

"Ai asshole, stop cutting him in the middle and let him complete his side of the story," said Kit as he smacked Beam's head to make him stop.

"I said yes because I like him too. Beam, you want me to continue speaking or not?" queried Phana, which made Beam close his mouth.

"I liked the way he approached me. He didn't force me to like him. The first thing he said to me before proposing was

'I'll never force you to like me back, P. If you don't like me courting you, let me know phi, I'll never disturb you ever again. I know that love is not something we can force. Don't feel pressured, P. I'm not clingy or stalky,' those were Wayo's confessions.

Now tell me how I could say no to him. I fall for him since the first time I saw him at the hospital. He was so worried about his best friend that he didn't notice the staring eyes on him," concluded Phana with a dreamy look as he remembers their first encounter, which just caused both Beam and Kit to cringe so hard.

"Finally, my best friends are going to leave their single status. I'm happy," shouted Beam, which gained the weird stares from their coursemates in the main canteen.

Kit and Phana could only laugh at their friend's excited and silly behavior.

It was just a typical day for them. But the confession of Phana and Kit made it extra thrilling. They just wished for their life to be ordinary like any other students in their age, without any extra dramas.

Hopefully, they could have a happy relationship.
