Ming's POV

It doesn't matter how good you're to others or how hard you try to make others happy when your own life is miserable. I'm here trying to be the new me to keep my promise and give Wayo hope that I have changed.

At least, I'm trying. But, it's not easy. As some quotes say, it's never easy, and we got to fight for it. So, I'm trying my best to fight for it.

And that's the problem. I don't know what I'm fighting and for whom. What's the point in fighting to achieve something or be happy when I can't share my new achievements or happiness with anybody.

I miss my sister so much. I know I've said this a million times, but that's the truth. Her mere presence could make me feel relieved and protected. She was my lifeline. Now I'm hanging alone in this lane barely, surviving, don't know for whom?

I better give my all in this moon competition, or else P'Forth and the other hazers will kill me and bury me alive. Am I exaggerating?

Nope.

They might do that. Since P'Forth was last year's famous moon, he wants me to win the campus moon title. Does he think that it's easy as plucking an apple?

Gosh, why P'Beam does even loves him?

'Knock, knock, and knock.'

Speaking of the devil, and here he is.

"Nong Ming, I know you're inside. Open the damn door!!!" shouted P'Forth as he banged on my dorm door.

I told you that he's a devil.

"Owh, P'Forth. Did you miss me already? It's just 7 am, P'Forth. P'Beam might misunderstand us," I teased him with my now famous mischievous smile. See, I'm trying to change. Now, I'm a friendly guy, and that feels good.

"My foot. Is it so hard for you to join the moon and star competition on time, nong? And Beam knows that you're not my type, so don't worry. Now move your ass and follow me," ordered P'Forth as he drags me out of my dorm room.

"Owh, P'Forth, you hurt my pride there," I whined playfully and followed him as he ordered. Let's not anger the soon-to-be wolves leader.

It is how my life has been for a few months now. It's nice to forget about everything and enjoy life as it is. Wayo is right. I have to fight for my happiness. That's what P'San would want me to do as well. I find out that having a group of people called my own felt beyond good, and it's fun to tease a particular adorable senior.

The stars and moon of every faculty in the university have occupied the main hall. Now is the time for them to relax or rest because they have to continue practicing the boring dance routine in half an hour.

As always, Kit and Beam followed Phana to the gathering to help the pretty and handsome nongs practice for their big night in 2 weeks.

"Ai Kitty, I'll have lunch out with Forth, bye," said Beam as he runs away to have lunch with his beloved Forth, and Phana was not in sight.

'Why do I have to follow you guys here if you both are going to leave me alone,' mumbled Kit as he can't scold Beam, who was now gone too.

Kit made a circle around the whole cafeteria to find something to eat. At last, he settles down with Pad Thai, his favorite. He spotted an empty table and occupied it before it filled with students too. He was enjoying his meal while browsing his Insta account when someone approached him.

"Sawadeekap P'Kit. May I sit here, P?" asked someone.

Kit lifted his head from his phone to be welcomed by Mings D-smile.

"Hmm," was the only reply Kit gave him.

He knew his heartbeat rose to a different level every time he sees this nong up close. All his life, he thought of himself as a straight guy. But this nong is making him imagine weird stuff.

Nope, he is not homophobic. Unlike the normal relationship where both the man and women expect something in return, Kit even thinks of these kinds of love as pure love.

But Kit can't decide that he is in love with this nong even though all the symptoms say so.

"P'Kit Kat, may I share your meal, P?" asked Ming with his puppy eyes.

"Why don't you go and buy yourself?" asked Kit, still eyes fixed on his phone.

"My friend is buying for both of us, P. Right there. But look at the line, P, it will take forever. Just give me a spoonful, P, na na," plead Ming again as he showed Wayo lining up at Tom Yam stall to get their lunch and blinked his eyes multiple times to look cute.

Kit stared at him for a whole 1 minute before he offered him some from his spoon.

"Oh my god, P, this is superb. May I have one more spoonful?" asked Ming with expected eyes.

"Oi, you asked for only one mouthful earlier," argued Kit as he hides his plate.

"Owh na phi, I need to eat more to maintain my six-packs, na," whined Ming again and pouty lips.

"Six packs?!! Don't kid around, nong," snickered Kit as he continued to eat, ignoring Ming in front of him.

"You don't believe me, P?" he asked, bewildered, and Kit shakes his head as no.

Suddenly Kit could hear a loud ear-splitting scream around him, and he lifted his head only to get greeted with Ming's six packs abs right in front of his damn face.

"What the- put down your shirt, nong," scolded Kit as he quickly averted his eyes.

"Owh, I was only trying to prove you wrong. See that, I do have six-packs," teased Ming while lifting his eyebrows playfully.

"P'Kit Kat, you are blushing, P. Are you shy?" teased Ming again as he saw Kit's face turning red.

Kit shoved a spoonful of pad Thai in his mouth to stop him from blabbering nonsenses again.

"This is my face when I get angry, not shy, and never call me Kit Kat again," replied Kit irritated.

"P'Kit Kat, Kit Kat suits you more, na. Let me call you Kit Kat, na. Na na na na..," and was shoved with a mouthful of Pad Thai again.

But still, Ming made a pleading gesture towards Kit to allow him to call Kit as Kit Kat.

"Whatever, just shut up and eat Ming," scolded Kit as he continued to feed him all his lunch.

At the entrance of the cafeteria,

Beam and Phana were shocked and confused by their best friend's new behavior.

"Did I saw wrongly or, is Kitty feeding his precious Pad Thai to Nong Ming without making a fuss?" questioned Beam while Phana stated that "he never shares his Pad Thai, moreover feed it to us before. He would kill us if we tried to steal it from his plate."

"This is the first time I'm seeing your clawed friend being nice to others than you both, and this is the first time I'm seeing Nong Ming being obedient and being in a place without making any trouble since I meet him. Even Nong Yo can't make him sit at a place without frowning hard," added Forth in utter shock like Beam and Phana.

Three of them approach the table to join them and also to enquire them.

"Oi nong, you finished all my lunch here," said Kit annoyed, but Ming was all smiling towards him. He even drinks Kit's Thai tea happily.

"Oi Ming, you already ate!!! Then why did you made me line up to buy you food in that damn long queue?" questioned Wayo angrily.

"P'Kit Kat offered his lunch to me," answered Ming to get hit on the head with a spoon by Kit.

"When did I do that?" asked Kit furiously.

"Don't worry, P. I'll treat you to dinner next time. But my training ends late, na," stated Ming, unbothered by Kit's glares or Wayo's unamused face.

"I didn't agree to have dinner with you," replied Kit as he focused on his phone again.

"Why are you disturbing P'Kit now," said Yo as he smacked Ming's head from behind before he takes the seat beside Ming.

"May I have that tom yam, Nong Yo? I'll pay you for that," stated Phana as he joins them on the table together with Beam and Forth.

"You don't have to pay me, P'Pha," replied Wayo while he smiles shyly at him. Ming made a throw-up gesture at him and received another smack from his best friend.

"It is okay, nong Yo. I'll pay you back, or how about I bring you out for dinner in return?" questioned Phana in an extra sweet voice, which made both Kit and Beam make the throw-up gesture while Forth was dumbfounded.

It's the first time he saw Phana smiling so widely at his junior and talking in a sweet voice. There are so many first things he experienced today.

"Okay, P'Pha," replied Wayo as he looked down shyly.

Phana just smiled sweetly at him and also sat beside him to have his lunch.

"P'Kit Kat, when are you-" started Ming but couldn't finish his question because Kit answered even before he heard the question.

"I'm busy," he replied as he ignored Ming and acted unaffected by him. But there's a whole zoo in his stomach.

"But I haven't finished my question yet, P," whined Ming again.

"I'm busy whatever time you're asking me out," replied Kit as he started to pack his stuff.

"Owh na P'Kit Kat, let me treat you dinner na khrap," Ming continued to bother Kit while Kit was busy ignoring him.

At the other side of the table, Phana was having Tom Yam with Yo while smiling dearly at him. Beam noticed everything that's taking place in front of him as he was resting his head on Forth's chest as Forth was browsing his group chat from his engineering gang.

'Well, well, well, it looks like my best friends are going to leave their single status soon,' thought Beam as he smirked at his best friends.

"Why Beam?" questioned Forth, who noticed his boyfriend being weird.

"Nothing," replied Beam as he peeked Forth's cheek softly and continue to rest on his chest.
