It was Lisa's birthday, and her friends had planned a surprise party for her. They had decorated the room with a sea of colorful balloons and had even baked a cake for her. As Lisa stepped into the living room, her eyes widened in awe. It looked like a rainbow had exploded all over the place. The walls were adorned with shimmering ribbons in shades of pink, blue, and yellow. The ceiling was also covered with floating animal-shaped balloons, giving the room a festive and cheerful vibe. The balloons were of different shapes and sizes, some of which had confetti inside, creating a beautiful effect when they moved. They were tied to the furniture, making it feel like they were floating in the air. A sweet aroma of freshly baked pastries filled the air. Her living room was dimly lit, and the balloons glowed in the soft light. In the center of the room was a huge banner reading "Happy Birthday Lisa" in bold, colorful letters. The whole place looked like a magical wonderland, and it was clear that Lisa's surprise birthday party would be memorable. Everything was perfect, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and excitement as she took in the beautiful sight. The more vital factor was the people. Lisa was thrilled to see all her friends assembled in one place to celebrate her special day.

As they sang "Happy Birthday" and Lisa blew out the candles on her cake, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support of her friends. She knew that they would always be there for her, no matter what.

After they cut the cake and everyone had a piece, they started dancing to the music. Anne-Marie's "Birthday" came on, and Lisa's friends pulled her onto the dance floor. As they jigged together, Lisa couldn't help but feel like she was on top of the world.

"I'm another year older

I won't cry about you anymore

Told my friends to come over

To dye my hair, mmm

It's not even the weekend

And I'm wearin' that dress I can't afford

Givin' life a new meanin'

Without you there

Do some stupid shit, maybe get a tattoo

Whatever I can do to get my mind off you."

Lisa had gone through some bad situations recently. They had negatively affected her mood, saddening her with tears. The worst one was about her relationship. She was heartbroken after her break-up with Fred. They had been together for three years, and she thought things were going well. But one day, Fred told her he did not love her anymore and wanted to end their love journey.

Lisa was devastated. She could not stop crying and kept replaying their last conversation in her head. She had so many questions, but she knew deep down that she couldn't do anything to change his mind.

Days turned into weeks, and Lisa found it hard to get out of bed. She didn't feel like doing anything, and her friends were worried about her. Lisa tried to put on a brave face but found it difficult to accept and understand what had happened. They had had so many things together, and Fred suddenly said he stopped having feelings for her! How could she feel okay?

As time passed, Lisa started to pick herself up gradually. She started focusing on her hobbies and going out with her friends again. She even started volunteering at a local animal shelter, which gave her a sense of purpose.

Despite her progress, Lisa still had moments where she missed Fred. She wondered if he ever thought about her or regretted breaking up with her. But as days went by, those thoughts became less frequent.

One day, Lisa received a message from Fred. He apologized for how he had treated her and said he missed her. Lisa was shocked and didn't know what to say. She needed time to think about what she wanted.

In the end, she decided that she was better off without him. Fred had made use of her several times. He even manipulated and abused her, worsening her mental health for a lengthy period. She had been blinded with love for so long that she always forgave him. However, his heart still changed, and so did hers. Lisa had worked hard to move on and didn't want to get back to feeling heartbroken. It wasn't easy, but Lisa knew she had made the right decision. It had been tough, but it had also made her stronger. She knew that she could face anything that life threw at her as long as she had the support of her friends and family. They all burst into joy after they heard she had left that walking red flag! They also gave her wonderful, luxurious gifts and helped her do crazy things she had never done before.

"It's my birthday

I'ma do what I like

I'ma eat what I like

I'ma kiss who I like

It's my birthday

I'ma do what I like

I'ma wear what I like

I'ma party tonight

Goddamn, it's my birthday

Everybody love me

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Look at me, give me money

Damn, it's my birthday

Everybody love me

And I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

It's my birthday."

Back to the party, it seemed like the night was full of joy and memories that would last a lifetime. As it ended, everyone started to say their goodbyes. Lisa couldn't help but feel grateful for these wonderful people. They were the ones who encouraged her to love herself at her worst and gave her the chance to live her best.

"I blow out all the candles, uh

I can't even afford my rent

So I'm not buyin' the drinks 'cause

I'ma leave that to my friends, it's you

Ballin' now with everybody in the room, yeah

That's what I do, that's what I do, yeah

Whatever I can do to get my mind off you

Ha, that's what I do, that's what I do

Ain't got any wiser

Gonna be hungover

Never learned my lesson

And I ain't gonna listen

I don't really care 'cause

It's my birthday

I'ma do what I like

I'ma eat what I like

I'ma kiss who I like

It's my birthday

I'ma do what I like

I'ma wear what I like

I'ma party tonight

Goddamn, it's my birthday

Everybody love me

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Look at me, give me money

Damn, it's my birthday

Everybody love me

And I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

It's my birthday, my birthday

And I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

It's my birthday, my birthday

And I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

It's my birthday, my birthday

And I'ma do whatever I like

And I ain't thinkin' 'bout you."

While laying in bed that night and reflecting on the day's events, Lisa could not help but hum the tune of "Birthday" to herself. It was a reminder that no matter how old she got, she would always have her friends by her side to celebrate the special moments in life.

"It's my birthday, my birthday

It's my birthday so you better treat me nice."
