It was just another usual morning for both Beam and Forth. It has been a month since the small dispute Beam caused in the restaurant. They were having breakfast together at home, where Beam refused to eat more than a slice of bread.

"Beam, why don't you take off today and rest at home? I'll get back home soon after my meeting is over," suggested Forth worriedly.

Beam has not been feeling so well nowadays. He seems too tired compared to the days he works overtime and, he refused to eat sometimes. His mood has been everywhere and, Forth doesn't know why or how to comfort his husband.

"Can't do, Forth. I have got an important appointment with a pre-operation patient today and, I have to check up on my other patients as well," reasoned Beam.

"You got sick twice this month due to overwork and continue to work the next day. If Phana didn't mention your strict HOD (Head of Department), I wouldn't know about your packed schedule. I don't want you to be damn tired," said Forth in worry as he strokes Beam's hair softly.

"That's okay. My shift ends early today and tomorrow is my off day too. I'll rest tonight," assured Beam but, Forth is not convinced.

"This won't do. I'll send you to work today, and I'll pick you up as well. So, you better leave your hospital compound when your shift is over," stated Forth strictly.

As he mentioned earlier, Forth drops off Beam in hospital by himself. He reminded Beam to have his meals on time and call him if his shift ends early.

"Ai Beam, I saw your husband sending you off today. Were you sick again or, is he simply over-protective?" asked Phana teasingly when they meet at the entrance.

"He is just worried about me. Leave him alone. By the way, where is Ai Kitty?" asked Beam as he joined Phana to walk towards his room.

"He suddenly had to work overtime last night. So, he might be still in rounds," answered Phana.

"Forth is not wrong to worry about you, Ai Beam. You don't look so well these days. Are there any cases worrying you?" asked Phana, concerned.

"There is nothing like that. I don't get to sleep properly lately and don't have any appetite these days. You all worry for nothing" stated Beam.

"Hmm. If you say so, I believe in you. I'll meet you again during the lunch break," said Phana as he left Beam at the doorstep of his room.

Beam felt tired and weak today. He knew he lacks sleep but, his tiredness felt different and, he can't diagnosed it. Beam discarded that thought and started doing his morning rounds. He has a busy schedule to follow today.

Meeting with outpatients until 11 am, then a special appointment with pre-operation until 1 pm and, then, he has to go for rounds again in the afternoon. Hopefully, the day won't be hard.

It's past lunchtime and, Forth didn't receive any text or calls from Beam yet. He is in between meeting with his team of engineers for the underwater station building. One of the engineers is presenting in front while Forth is having a staring contest with his phone.

"P'Forth, are you even listening to me?" asked the presenter.

"You were talking about The Meg and Dark Blue Sea 1 movie. You compared the underwater construction details which, were quite accurate. But, did you realized that those are fictional movies, and this is reality. If your calculation is even slightly wrong, then we have to say Buh-bye to few hundreds of lives," Forth explained and pinpointed some calculation mistakes, together with the sketch improvement.

"WOW, P'Forth. I thought you were not listening. I'm once again impressed by your multi-tasking skills," praised one of the engineers.

"He is lucky that he listen to this presentation, or else I might have to kill him," stated Lam calmly.

Lam was throwing death threats like it was nothing as he sharpens the pencil for sketching.

"P'Forth, are you a fan of shark movies? You seem to know more about sharks than normal," commented the junior engineer of the team.

"Beam, my husband, loves those movies. So I had to company him to watch the marathons, even though I developed a fear about sharks and sea after that," said Forth.

"Why?" asked Lam.

Lam might seem solemn and not approachable to the whole team, but he is friendly in his way.

"Why wouldn't I? You know I love snorkeling but, in those movies, the sharks will make their major appearance on those divers."

"I heard that you were the head hazer in your university for three consecutive years, and I can't believe you are scared of sharks," teased the junior as he laughed heartily.

"Let me push you into a shark tank and see who is not scared," replied Forth as he glare at him.

"Don't scare him away, Forth. Remember, he is the best at collecting info for our project," reminded Lam while he was laughing at him.

The presentation was almost over and, they were barely chatting when suddenly Forth received a call from Phana. Phana won't call him unless it's an emergency.

"AI FORTH, COME TO HOSPITAL AS SOON AS YOU CAN. BEAM FAINTED," said Phana and, that's all it takes Forth to abandoned the meeting and run to the hospital.

Forth reached the hospital in less than 15 minutes. The first thing Forth did when Forth arrived at the hospital was finding Beam's HOD.

Beam is one of the specialists in the cardiac department. He is known for his excellent memory and skills in surgery. Even his HOD gave him countless works, Beam thinks of them as an opportunity to learn. He idolizes this HOD, who has a triple degree in medicine and runs his own medical home for the poor.

Dr. Kim is a specialist in Cardiac Thoracic, Neuro and, Analgesic departments. But Forth doesn't care about that. For him, Beam is everything and, this man over here made him sick.

Forth angrily marched into the Neuro department to start a fight. Doctor Kim with other junior doctors were walking opposite Forth as they were discussing some cases.

"Are you Dr. Kim?" asked Forth as he was getting near him to throw few punches.

Luckily Phana comes at the right time to hold him back before he does something that could bring Beam's wrath.

"Forth, why don't you go meet Beam first?" he tried to bargain but, Forth is not listening.

"You don't have to make my husband work so hard till he gets sick. Why are you torturing my Beam?" he asked angrily.

Dr. Kim recognized Forth from the first glance. He has heard about him before from Beam. He even once helped Beam to decide on which gift to give on their anniversary.

"Forth, is it? Have you meet Beam yet?" question Dr.Kim with a kind smile on his face. He has this fatherly figure which, makes Forth hard to be mad at him.

"I am and, I won't allow you to bully my husband. You work him hard until he faints today," stated Forth solemnly.

"Well, this time, he didn't faint because of me. It's all on you, young man," said Dr.Kim with a mischievous smile.

Forth was confused as hell. He didn't even have his sexy time with Beam recently. How on earth, it was his fault that Beam faints.

The scorn on his face was so worthy of watching.

"Forth, what the hell are you doing here?" comes the voice of angry Beam who, somehow seems weak.

Forth immediately reached his side and supported him to stand stably.

"Beam, baby, how do you feel right now?" he worriedly asked as he saw the pale Beam.

"I asked you, why are you here?" he asked again slowly.

"Your HOD bullies you and, I'm here to warn him not to. He made you faint," replied Forth as he glares at Dr.Kim, which the said doctor smile at him.

"I fainted because I'm pregnant with your child," stated Beam calmly, like it was not something unusual.

If before this Forth had confused scorn on him, now he looks completely ridiculous.

It took him time to digest the info his husband has delivered to him and, the first line he said after that was,

"Never have I ever knew that boys could get pregnant."

Forth carried Beam as he spins in circles. He doesn't know how this could happen, but he is damn happy.

This baby is the best gift he has received so far from Beam.
