~CACT~

Full Name- Patrick Dylan Harper

Nicknames- Pat, Patty, Trick, but he hates them all

Age- 21

Birthday- April 27th

Zodiac Sign- Taurus

Gender- Male

Sexuality- Gay

Face Claim- Patrick Stump

Height- 5'4"

Weight- 165 lb

Clothing Style- Warm clothing, dark colors. Sweaters, jeans, long sleeves, cardigans, denim/leather jackets, all of that stuff. You'll rarely catch him in shorts and a tshirt.

Distinguishing Features- On the top, left hand side of his forehead, he has a mole. It's often hidden with his hair, though. As well as that, his eyes are blue, but from a distance they tend to look green, due to a yellow ring around the pupil. There are also scars covering his body due to his certain accident. The scars are called Lichtenberg figures, and they closely resemble ferns. The most noticeable one is the one that covers his left cheek, but he has others littered across his body. Specifically, one covering each of his forearms, a large one that spreads across his left hip, spreading onto his stomach and back, one covering his right thigh, and one covering his left shin. He tends to hide them, despite the one on his cheek.

Physical Ailments- Patrick as chronic BPPV- Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. He developed the condition after he was electrocuted by a lightning strike. It gives him dizzy spells, often triggered when he moves his head in a certain way, but sometimes they can be random. They vary in how bad they are; the worst ones often end in him collapsing or fainting, but they're rare. He takes prochlorperazine to help with the nausea he often gets from them and to help the dizziness, and it also helps his anxiety.

Mental Ailments- Anxiety

Allergies- Nuts

Addictions- None

Personality- Patrick's a softie. But he isn't...too soft. His general nature is soft and kind. He'll treat anyone with the basic respect a person deserves, no matter what he's been told about them. He's a guy to always give someone a chance, no matter the reputation. If they seem like a good person and someone he'd like, he won't judge them. He won't judge anyone unless they genuinely piss him off or do something bad. Maybe he's a little too trusting of people. Naïve, even. Everyone has some good in them, right?
Patrick's sensitive. He takes everything to heart, specifically the bad things. If someone has something bad about him to say, that means he needs to change something. Or, at least, that's the way he thinks. If someone tells him they don't like his hair or something simple like that, that means there's something wrong with it, right? Part of that way of thinking is due to his major insecurity with himself. With what he does, with his looks, even with his feelings at times. Being insecure on top of the sensitivity leads to a lot of feeling bad about himself, especially if he knows someone is openly judging him.
He has a breaking point. This breaking point can either lead to three things; a mental breakdown, actually managing to stand up for himself, or both, usually one after the other. More often than not, it's the first, but sometimes he'll stand up for himself, depending on the situation and how bad he's been hurt. Patrick hates being hurt; he's scared of it, whether it's physically or emotionally or mentally. He's scared of it all. Standing up for himself is something he's also scared of; what if he hurts the other person? No matter what the other could have done, he despises hurting others. Punching someone? Nope. Yelling at someone? Nope. When he does yell, he'll often feel bad about it later. If he doesn't feel bad, then honey, you've got a big storm coming.
On the rare occasion that you've actually managed to somehow make Patrick despise you (you probably shattered his trust and some other things if you actually managed this), be prepared. Patrick is scary when he's mad. He doesn't think when he's feeling a lot of emotions at once, or a lot of one emotion, so anything could happen. He might actually punch something, even maybe the person he hates. More than likely though, he'll resort to slapping instead of punching. Most of his comebacks are witty sass and carefully crafted remarks, and those aren't reserved for just when he hates someone. Just any time when he's annoyed or pissed off. Sometimes they can be rather childish, but that doesn't matter to him. It's at least something. But more often than not, he'll sit and take it, unless something makes him snap.
Overall, Patrick's a nice guy, with some built in sass and a sensitive soul. He gives everyone a chance, no matter what he's heard about them. Lots of emotions at once, or just a lot of emotion, can make him not think and possibly do something rash. At times, often when meeting someone new, he can be a little shy, but he often gets over it quickly. His anxiety can make him overthink the most simple situations, or any situation, really. But the good thing is that he's aware of it. He knows he overthinks, he knows about his anxiety, which means that he can hopefully work on making it a little better.

Optimist or Pessimist?- Optimist

Extrovert or Introvert?- Introvert

Strengths- Patrick's a very fast learner. He picks up on things rather quickly, even when not being specifically taught. As long as he pays attention to it, he'll pick up on it quickly. It allows him to learn a lot of things at a fast pace, and it's helpful for when he wants to just teach himself something new, which he does a lot.
He has a lot of medical knowledge. He wants to become a doctor, which is what he's currently studying for. He doesn't know everything yet of course, but he knows quite a bit. If he needed to, he could probably help in the midst of a medical emergency.
Patrick's good at comforting people. Or at least, he tries to be. He hates seeing people in pain or being sad, so more often than not, if he sees someone that's upset, he'll try to comfort him the best he can.

Weaknesses- When a lot of emotion influences him at once, Patrick often doesn't think. This causes him to do rash things, more than likely, whether it's yelling at someone or even slapping them. Then that causes him to usually feel horrible, and it's just a bad cycle.
His sensitivity. He takes everything to heart, the bad stuff more than the good, and it's something that he knows, but he doesn't know how to stop it. This goes along with his major insecurity, the two combined make him a mess at times. Patrick may cry a lot due to the two things, but it's okay to let out your emotions...right?
Patrick isn't very physically strong, either. He could probably pack a punch if something fueled it, but other than that, he really isn't. He can run fast, but doesn't have that great of stamina.

Backstory- Patrick is an only child. His parents were always protective of him, even before his accident. Everything was great with his life. He was a good student, a good kid. He never had too many friends, but he had a small, close friend group. But then, when he was 16, the accident happened. Patrick was walking home from a friend's house in the middle of a thunderstorm, due to his parents both being at work, and he couldn't drive yet. While he was passing by an electricity pole, lightning happened to strike the pole. It luckily didn't directly hit him, but he was close enough to it that it still majorly electrocuted him. He passed out almost immediately, but luckily a neighbor saw him lying on the ground, and called an ambulance. Patrick lived, and everything seemed fine with him after about a week of physical therapy to get his strength back up. Until the dizziness started. It stated when he was still in the hospital, and the doctors brushed it off as a side effect, until he fainted in the hallway while taking a walk around the corridors with his dad. They ran more scans, and diagnosed him with BPPV. They said he had a chance of it going away, but also a chance of it being chronic. While Patrick was in the hospital and afterwards, his parents babied the heck out of him. Even when the doctors said he was fully recovered, they forced him to be in a wheelchair a week after he was discharged. And even after that, they locked him in the house for a year, homeschooling him and only letting him go outside as long as there were no clouds in the sky and the forecast was clear, and he had supervision. Patrick despised it. Finally, after a year of that hell, he managed to get his parents to lay off a little. And then, a little after that, he came out to them as gay. His dad was fully supportive, but his mom? Not at all. She doesn't openly hate on him for it, but often, in little ways, she tries to influence him in the opposite way. She doesn't want to hurt her son, but also doesn't agree with it. Patrick knows it and hates it, especially since she's the one that still babies him to this day, despite being moved out of the house and 21.
