Personality- Patrick is an extremely nice guy. Niceness is his whole thing. He's always nice to people, no matter the circumstances, really. Well, he has a breaking point, if someone is annoying the heck out of him or just being plain mean. Then he might get a little defensive, but he hardly ever raises his voice. Most of his comebacks are in sarcastic, sassy ways, or just deadpan. He'll tell someone how it is, whether they like it or not. He won't usually do that with his friends, as he doesn't want to hurt their feelings, but if it's someone that's making him mad, he will. If someone has the nerve to upset him or someone he cares about, he has a right to defend them or himself. He would never physically hurt someone though, like punching. He would never do that, unless he gets really pissed off. He wouldn't punch, but he'd slap. It usually happens when he's not thinking due to all of the emotions he feels. He has very good control over his temper, and he doesn't remember any time that he's actually lost it. Except when he was a little kid. That doesn't count. Patrick is also pretty soft. His feelings get hurt easily, which is kind of a dilemma for him. But usually, he's good at coming up with a comeback. Sometimes he'll just ignore it, sometimes he might cry, or sometimes he might get a little angry. Seeing him angry is a very rare sight, you should definitely be scared if you do. He saves his anger for when he'll need it. He won't often lash out on somebody, unless they're actually driving him nuts. Then it's usually just sarcastic, sassy remarks. He's very selfless, often caring about others more than himself, but he's also aware of his own needs, and makes sure to care for himself too. He can also be a bit reckless at times too, usually when something's bothering him, he's upset, confused, or scared. Those are often the times he gets reckless. He'll charge into things without thinking, doing a variety of different things. It usually ends up with him hurt, emotionally or physically. He's usually very good at thinking through situations and coming up with the best possible plan, but sometimes, he just isn't.
Patrick is also quite insecure. It isn't necessarily about anything in particular, and it won't really be evident that he's insecure unless you catch him in a certain mood. Otherwise, he keeps it to himself and hides it well. He's insecure about his body, about his looks, about how he acts and about his abilities to do things. The only thing he really isn't insecure about is his music abilities and his abilities in the medical field. Patrick's afraid of a lot of things, he gets scared easily. He's not really jumpy, he gets scared of bigger, overall things. He overthinks. It's something he knows he does, he tries to work on it, but it's hard. Just being afraid constantly is tiring, though.

Strengths- Patrick is often good at thinking through things and coming up with a plan. As long as he's calm, he's good at it. Any influence of strong emotion can ruin that, but otherwise, he's good at it. He can think through things well, and he's proud of that. But that doesn't mean he doesn't crack under pressure.
Patrick wants to be a doctor, so he has medical experience. He doesn't know too much yet, but he knows stuff. He isn't very far in learning, but he's getting there.

Weaknesses- Patrick isn't very physically strong. At all. He's short, slightly on the chubby side, he isn't very strong. It doesn't bother him very much, he doesn't mind. He doesn't need to be too physically fit for what he wants to do in life.
His fears. He's scared of big, everyday things, not to mention other things can scare him a lot too. His anxiety is bad, and he tries to get help, but it's hard. He doesn't really know how to help himself get over it all.

Fears- Astraphobia- fear of thunder and lightning. Thunderstorms terrify him. Patrick usually gets panic attacks when one happens, and has to hide under the bed or make it so he can't see the flashes of lightning from the window. He had always been scared of them, but the anxiety got worse after something happened to him when he was 16, will be explained later.
Aichmophobia- the fear of sharp things. His is mainly obvious things, like knives and needles, though anything that is sharp that he knows could hurt him scares him. He refuses to handle knives, even when he just needs to put them away. Needles scare the crap out of him, even though he wants to be a doctor. He can handle needles okay, but when he's the one the needle is being used on, he freaks out.

Brief Background- Patrick's an only child, raised by his mother and father. His mom was always the more protective one of him, and his father always was a little more lenient and fun with him. When he turned 18, he went off to college, majoring in biology to try to get into medical school after undergrad. He lives on his own in a studio apartment near his college.
