Mistkit's POV

I woke up to find Moonkit playfully leaping on Sandkit.Duskkit sat by herself,watching Larkkit.

"Duskkit?Mooning over Larkkit again?"I said,loudly enough so he could hear.

"Am not!"Duskkit yowled,getting up into a standing postition.Duskkit shut her mouth and akwardly looked around to find Larkkit smirking.

Mistkit smiled to herself and looked up to find Stormkit glaring at her,"What?!"

"You should stop teasing Duskkit,she looks hurt."Stormkit mewed.

"I don't care,maybe you should face the fact that she likes Larkkit,not you,"Mistkit snorted.

"S-She-she..."Stormkit mewed,sadness clouded his eyes.

"Likes Larkkit!"Mistkit growled.

Mistkit watched as he slowly left.Mistkit stood and trotted towards the den's entrance.

"And where do you think you're going?"

Mistkit looked up to see Daisy and smiled,"Outside to play."

"But there are warriors working very hard,you wouldn't want to distract them."Daisy mewed.

"I wouldn't mind distracting them."Mistkit mewed.

Daisy rolled her eyes and said,"But they would."

Mistkit snorted and padded to her nest.She dropped down and curled her tail around her paws.

"Tried to escape?"Sparrowkit,Stormkit's sister asked.

Mistkit nodded,"Can't that kittypet just do some actual work and help the clan!"

"She helps take care of kits!"Sparrowkit purred.

"How?She doesn't let me escape!"Mistkit snorted.

"That's a good thing."Sparrowkit mumbled.

Mistkit rolled her eyes and looked towards the entrance."I'm gonna make a run for it."

"What?!No!I don't want you getting into trouble!"Sparrowkit mewed.

Mistkit ignored what Sparrowkit said and raced towards the entrance.She ran out to see her clanmates crowd the camp.She started trotting towards the dirtplace.

"Didn't we agree that somecat would escort you around camp so you won't escape?"A low voice asked.

Mistkit looked up to see Bramblestar,"Daisy didn't let me go to the dirtplace so I ran out."

"I'll go talk to her."Bramblestar said,"But I'll wait for you right now."

Mistkit rolled her eyes and padded to the dirtplace.She wrinkled her nose and looked for the fastest exit.

The rocky slope looked like the best exit.She jumped on the slope.The rocks crumbling.She began to climb up,the rocks making loud sounds.

"Mistkit?"She heard Bramblestar's voice.She rolled her eyes and got to the top."Mistkit?!"Bramblestar said in a harsher tone.

Mistkit grinned and ran off into the forest."MISTKIT!!!"She heard Bramblestar scream...
