Nico's POV

Why wont you just black out? I just wanted it to end. I wanted to pretend like I never woke from the coma I was in. I wanted to just leave this cruel reality. I glanced up. He was messing with some of the shorter knives on the table. I looked down at myself. My cuts were deep, but not fatal. Yet. He turned and looked at me.

"Oh dont worry. You wont last much longer." He stepped up so he was right in front of me. He whispered right next to my ear. "My Ghost King."

I tensed up. He nipped at my ear and walked back towards the table. The stupidest thought came through my mind.
Im being raped and tortured by my possessed boyfriend.

Nice. That sounds so normal. Good job Nico. I couldnt stand it anymore.

"JUST FUCKING KILL ME YOU ASSHOLE! GET IT DONE WITH ALREADY!" I couldnt help but scream. I had so much anger contained.

"Pathetic. You weak little thing. Giving up already?"

I hung my head and just stayed silent. I didnt know what to do. He walked toward me once again.

"This would be so much easier if you just screamed a bit again. Please? For Percy?"

"No."

He sliced me on the face with the smaller knife.

"Scream for him."

"Never."

He cut my leg.

"One little shriek."

"No."

"Ugh. Then I guess we're done here."

He stabbed me in the thigh and just left the knife there. I screamed, trying to keep it in.

"There it is! Well... too late for more now. I'll be back in a bit."

The amber faded from his eyes and he dropped to the floor.

"Per....cy..." I was so weak. I was done.

"Nico! No no no no no!" He ran to me.

He untied the ropes and I fell into his arms. I struggled to stay awake.

"You.... swore...."

"I know Nico. I know. But that doesnt mean your gonna die yet."

He shoved ambrosia down my throat. I ate it.

"Not... gonna work..."

I saw dark spots form in my vision.

"Percy... I... I love you..."

He started crying.

"I love you too Nico. I will always, always love you."

"My.... Knight... in shining armor...."

"My Ghost King."

He held me close.

His smile was the last thing I saw.
