"Me too." Myte nodded agreeing, smiling.

The Professor looked at Myte again. "Alright Myte, many challenges await you. Let me give you one other gift that will help you along your way. It's a Pokédex. It's like that electric encyclopedia that records the kids of Pokémon you encounter and capture. It will also help me in my research in Pokémon. Also, if you'd like, you can come back at any time and purchase another Pokémon from my assistant, David."

It was the man she saw earlier when she came here who was by the Poke balls.

"Now, what are you waiting for? Go explore the world of Pokémon!" He said happily.

Her father encouraged her too. "Yes, Myte. Go ahead and have fun with your Pokémon. We need to stay behind and talk to the Professor for. A minute. We'll meet up with you later."

"Ok." Myte smiled as she left talking to Alex, "I'm so excited for the adventures that await us!"

As she left, she heard a voice and stopped.

"We have Pokémon now!" Alex had chosen his when Myte was gone.

"LET'S BATTLE!"

They both laughed excited as they went to go and battle.

Alex got out Eevee.

Charmander started it off by fighting. He used his growl.

Eevee attacked next getting health down as Charmander did the same to Eevee.

Charmander then used amber as Eevee used her tail whip which Eevee's health went down.

Charmander used growl once more as Eevee used tail whip again.

This time Charmander used scratch and Eevee used growl.

They continued this until... Charmander won! He gain 69 XP and went up to level 6.

Alex was amazing smiling, "Amazing! Nice fighting!"

"Here, let me heal your Pokémon."

Then her parents came in smiling big.
