Backstory: Red was once a happy young city cat living with her brother Slate. They were abandoned by their mother at a young age, but as were all city cats. It didn't slow them down. They were dependent on each other. Then one day, a nearby nuclear power plant experienced a critical failure, resulting in an explosion and a meltdown. The siblings escaped the city together, dismayed and upset at the loss of the only home they knew. They began to travel in the direction the sun set. Three days later, Slate succumbed to delayed radiation sickness and died in front of his sister. Red buried him, leaving a single field daisy on his grave. Broken and depressed, she continued the journey she had begun. Moons later, she came across a clan- RiverClan. When she begged for a place to live, they have her three days to prove herself. They were highly suspicious, as a recent rouge problem had left the leader's mate dead. Red did her best, but the clan mistook her depression as suspicious behavior. Despite her desperate attempts to fit in, Red was kicked out of RiverClan personally by the leader on day three. This seemed to short-circuit her brain. She lingered in RiverClan territory, trying to figure out what to do. Then she saw a cat taking a drink nearby. The leader's son. And he had his guard down. Her mind was too fragile to handle the loss of everything she'd ever known and then rejection by a community of cats. All in that moment, all of her blame was placed on RiverClan. And she murdered the leader's son as punishment. She left his body in all of its bloody gore as a warning sign to RiverClan- I'll be back. She lingers in the unclaimed territories, attacking any Clan cat she sees fit. In one storyline, she helps lead a group of bloodthirsty rouges as second-in-command to a tom named Orpheus (artsyJadeite 's character).

Other: She has channeled all of her grief and depression into rage. This coping mechanism makes her determined to eliminate the clans..
