~•~10 years later~•~
     Jane got up bright and early. She put on a nice top, a jean skirt and grabbed her purse.
     "Where are you going honey?" Jane's mother said. "I'm going to breakfast with Sarah and Misti." Jane replied. And with that, she walked out the door.
     Jane jumped in her car and drove to the Little Breakfast Place where her friends would be waiting.
     When she arrived there, her friends had already had a table outside. When Jane sat down, it wasn't easy with her skirt. 'I've had enough of this!' Jane thought.
     Jane and her friends talked and ate breakfast. A group of men walked by; they had big muscles and were handsome. But Jane didn't think so. She thought that they looked like show-off jerks.
     "Oh my gosh, they are so hot!" Sarah whispered to them. Jane rolled her eyes. "Come on, Sarah! They're just trying to show-off their fake ness." She added a little chuckle to show her friends that she wasn't mad at them.
     "Whatever!" Misti said jokingly. After they ate, Jane went home. She had some summer homework to do from school.
     When Jane got home, she went in her room to work. She knew that she set her papers on her desk, which was now cluttered with makeup from getting ready.
     Jane pushed makeup around and finally found her homework. But there was one problem; the papers had lipstick marks on them, foundation was soaked into them, and mascara was smeared over the papers too.
     "I'm done! I'm done with this girlyness! I never want to wear makeup or dresses again!!" Jane yelled. Her mother must have heard and came running up to her daughter's room.
       Jane's mother hugged her. "What was that for?" Jane asked. Her mother smiled, "This is exactly what your father dreamed of; you speaking up for yourself and being yourself."
