Somewhere in Ninjago City, Two people, Twins to be exact, were talking among each other on top of a random rooftop. Both wearing their respectful clothing.

Alyssa:

Morro: (with a hood and mask)

Alyssa and Morro, also known as the Midnight Twins, were looking down and across the dark street, watching any movement from a house.

Morro pointed at the house, "This is where the Party is happening?"

Alyssa nodded and raised an eyebrow to her brother, "So anyone is invited? Are you sure?"

Morro nods, "As long as they come in wearing a mask and looking fancy."

Alyssa scoffed, "What rich idiots. They're going to be in for a surprise when we crash the party." She smirked, an excited glint in her eyes.

Morro chuckles and stands straight, "You can have your fun, but remember sister," he went serious, "We are here for a reason."

Alyssa sighs and nods, her dark, brown hair covering her eyes, "Yes, yes. I know."

Morro smiles slightly and puts a hand on his sisters shoulder, "Let's go. We need to prepare for tonights events."

Alyssa's mask shifts into a smirk, "let's go then."

~ The ninja's POV~

"Madison, Aim your bow higher." Lloyd instruct his female teammate as she nods and raises her Bow higher and shoot her arrow into a target.

Her sister, who was watching, clapped, "woo! Good job!"

Maddy smiles and put her bow on her back, "Thanks. I really needed this practise."

Over the other side of the training room, the guys were sparing against each other. Jay and Cole using only their fist while Zane and Kai used their weapons.

Jay, being the sneaky person he is, wanted to cheat his way to victory using Cole's one and only weakness.

"Hey Cole!" Jay grinned evilly.

Cole sighed and raised his fist, ready to knock Jay down, "what is it Jay?" He asked with a groan.

Jay smirked, "Maddy made you a cake! Look!" He pointed over to Maddy and Cole's hungry gaze followed, giving Jay the perfect opportunity to swipe his leg and knock Cole down.

Cole landed on the ground with a heavily thud and he groaned with his hands on his face.

Jay cheered, making everyone look at him. "I won! Woo!" He threw his hands in the air in victory.

Maddy chuckled and went to help Cole off the ground, "Cole, Babe, you know I can't cook."

Cole groaned again and shook off his pain, giving his girlfriend a small smile, "Yeah, I know."

Kai walked over and slapped Jay behind the head, making him whine.

"Owww! What was that for!?" Jay screeched at Kai.

Kai smirked and crosses his arms, "You cheated, Wind Bag."

It was then Kai's turn to whine when Jade smacked him over the head with her own smirk.

"Hey!? What was that for!?" Kai looked at his girlfriend with wide eyes.

Jade shrugged, "I just wanted too. Is that a crime?" She smirked.

Kai grumbled, "It should be."

Just then, the sliding doors to the Training room opened to reveal Sensei Wu and Garmadon.

The ninja all bow their heads in respect. , "Sensei's"

Sensei Wu gives them all serious look, "You ninja have a special duty tonight."

Jay snickered under his breath, "He said duty." But that earned him a jab in the ribs by Cole, making Jay wheeze.

Garmadon stood tall, "You all must go under cover at Tonight's Masquerade ball hosted By the Hurami's." (See what I did there~)

Jade raised an eyebrow, "You mean that Rich couple?"

Garmadon Nods, "We suspect, because it's a open to all event, that the Midnight Twins will make a move."

Sensei nods and backs up his brother, "You ninja will dress up and act like any other civilian. If you see anything suspicious you are to act."

Maddy pipes up, "but what if we don't have any fancy clothing?"

Kai nods, "she's right. I don't really dress to impress"

"Misako has placed your disguises in your room." Sensei says and gestures to the door.

The ninja all nod and head off to their rooms to get dressed but before Lloyd could leave, his father gently grabbed his arm.

Lloyd looked to his father with a questioning gaze. "What is it father?"

"In the near future, some of your past will come back to haunt you. Prepare, my son, for what once was a friend, is now the enemy" With that, Garmadon let his son go and stalked off.

Lloyd was baffled and stared at his fathers back for a few seconds before shaking it off. He sighed and made his way to his room.

~Time skip~ ~(3rd person POV)

Alyssa sighed and looked down at what she was wearing.

It was perfect in her opinion. It hugged her body just right and hid her identity perfectly.

Alyssa looked up to her brother who was fixing up his olive green bow tie. He looked over to her and smiles, "you look presentable."

Alyssa scoffed playfully and chuckled, "yeah, well you don't look too bad either mister."

Morro chuckled and took Alyssa's arm and linked it with his. He grinned down at her, his black tux shinning in the moonlight. "You ready to cause trouble~"

Alyssa grinned and started walking to the house. As she entered, She waved to a few people and chuckled, "Always, brother. Always"

Well...uh...how was that for a first chapter? Was it bad? Was it good? Should I just quit right now?!
