~No ones POV~

The ninja hid in the shadows around the corner of the Hurami's house. Lloyd telling each of them the plan.

"So if anything does happen, we come back here and regroup." Lloyd looked at his teammates.

Jade, who had been collecting everyone's Gi's, put them in a secret bag and hid the bag in a clean dumpster. "Done" she said.

Lloyd nodded and put his green mask on and over his face. His dirty, blonde hair covering his emerald, green eyes slightly.

Everyone else then put on their own masks, each of their own respectful colours and fixes up any creases in their tuxes or Dresses.

Jade's outfit;

Maddy's outfit;

Jade sighed and grumbled, "I feel like I'm showing too much skin" she started to play with her dress until Kai slung his arm over her shoulders.

He kisses her cheek and smiles, "You look gorgeous."

Jade's cheeks heated up but she smiles, "thanks Babe."

Maddy was too busy pulling her dress down constantly to notice the stare Cole was giving her.

Finally, after huffing and giving up, she looked up and caught his piercing gaze. She raised and eyebrow, "what?"

Cole blushed slightly, "Y-You look beautiful." He stutters.

Maddy smiled and pecked his cheek, "You look pretty snazzy in a suit~"

Jay rolled his eyes and pushes them away from each other, "can we not get all mushy here please. I'd like to keep my dinner down."

"Jay is right. We should now head inside." Zane nodded towards the house.

"Alright team, let's move." Lloyd lead the team over to the House while everyone gawked in amazement.

"This place is huge!" Jay said and looked around in utter disbelief.

"Oh oh! Guys they have an all you can eat buffet! And there's cake!" Cole drooled at the sight of the food.

"The music is very calm and serene." Zane was right.

The Hurami's had their own little band of music players that were playing sweet and calming music, perfect for a masquerade ball.

"Whoa, they do have everything to eat!" Maddy gasped and looked at the row of food.

Lloyd shook his head, "guys, we're here for a mission, not to gawk and eat food."

Everyone sighed but nodded and went to a corner where there was a space and lack of people to overhear their needed conversations.

Across the dance floor were the twins, looking around and smirking at all the jewels and jewellery everyone was wearing or the ones that were on case.

"This is perfect! I bet Xander would give us a raise when we give him these!" Alyssa smirked to Her brother.

Morro sighed, "maybe, maybe not. You know how sadistic and cruel he is."

Alyssa frowned but nodded, "Yeah, I guess you're right." She looked around again and then back to her brother, "so how do we distract them?"

Morro smirked, "This is your time to shine little sister."

Alyssa narrowed her eyes at Morro, "what does that mean," then she growled, "and I'm only a minute younger!"

Morro chuckled and put his hand on the small of her back, guiding her to the band that was playing on a small stage. "You're going to distract them with your talent!"

Alyssa finally caught on and laughed nervously, " I knew that." She turned around to Morro, "You still have that Bag I put the spell on, right?"

Morro nodded and secretly showed her the bag that had a disappearing spell on it, "safe and ready to use~" he smirked.

Alyssa nodded, "let's raise the roof to this boring party! Time to crank it up!" She smiled and walked up on the stage.

She spoke to the band members for a short amount of time and was able to convince them to play her song. She smiled to them and went up to the microphone.

She lifted it up to her height and tapped on it to test it. She cleared her throat to get everyone's attention.

When she got the audiences stare , she smirked to herself, "How is everyone, tonight!?"

She got a few mumbles from the audience but she didn't care, that wasn't really a question she wanted an answer to.

"Well that's nice. Anyway, I'm up here to show you guys what a real party is like! " she smirked wider and looked behind her to the band.

She nodded to them and they started up the beat. She took a deep breath in and let her power shine.

She smirked and sung loud and clear, putting all the emotion that has Built up over the years from her past into the song.

Deep down, Alyssa knew this song was meant for a past friend of hers. She was singing it for that person. For her friend. For him.

She got a good look at the crowd, but a group at the far back caught her attention.

She studied them. All of their facial features, well, the most she could see being as they had masks on.

But the one with the green mask. That was the one that caught her attention. For some reason he reminded her of someone. With his beautiful, golden locks and his piercing Emerald, green eyes.

As she looked at him, he caught her gaze, and small memories from the past entered her mind. All of them were about him. All about that one she loved the most. The one that broke her heart. The one and only...Lloyd Garmadon. But she knew, that couldn't be him. Oh, how wrong she was.

She growled slightly at those stupid memories of him. All the laughs they shared. All the times they hung out. They were all fake. None of that mattered to him. This song was perfect for him.

Those words were meant for him. After all, he was the one who told his friends that she was nothing to him. That their friendship was fake. And to think, she had wanted more than a friendship with him. The green ninja.

And she was moving on. Moving on from the past and focusing on the future. She had friends. Maddy and Jade. She trusted them with her life. Sad, she didn't know they were keeping secrets from her as well.

As the last words were whispered out of her mouth, she tore her gaze away from the blond, masked stranger and back to the crowed as some of them clapped and whooped while some of them yelled at her for making a ruckus.

As she laughed, the strangers a over at the corner talked among each other.

"Guys! Did you see that! That was like a free concert!" Jay exclaimed with excitement in his voice.

"Yeah, talk about hardcore." Kai nodded.

"Yeah, it wasn't bad, but that sounded a lot like someone we know..." Jade turned to Maddy who nodded.

Lloyd, who had been staring at Alyssa the whole time also thought she looked familiar. It brought back painful memories but he knew that this girl in front of him wasn't the girl he had known all those times ago.

Cole peered closely, "she looks like someone I sort of know.."

"That's what I thought. Zane, can you scan her?" Kai asked and looked to their nindroid friend.

Zane nodded and went to scan Alyssa but was cut short when both of the Hurami's came marching in with scowls plastered on their faces.

They marched up to Alyssa and glared at her, "You! You young lady have completely ruined this Ball!"

Alyssa scoffed and rolled her eyes.

Mrs Hurami turned around and threw her hands in the air and with a loud voice yelled, "this Party is now over!"

Me Hurami also helped his wife, "everyone is now going to leave! Go on! Shoo!"

Alyssa grinned evilly and jumped off the stage. She stood tall and proud as she took out a gun from the invisible bag she had wrapped around her waist.

She smirked at everyone as her brother joined her at her side with his own gun in hand.

She chuckled as everyone screamed but she stared at the blonde masked stranger, grinning as she spoke, "No one is going anywhere."
