Ruith

“I wasn’t sure how long you would take, but thank you for getting here as fast as you could.” Radagast smiled fondly at Daeran.

“Anything for you young one.” Daeran smiled “I am not so young anymore.” Radagast scoffed “Keep telling yourself that.”

Daeran blushed as he led Radagast into Lord Elrond’s study. “I know you contacted me because you needed some help with your magic”

Radagast started but was interrupted.

“Actually I just need more magic for a spell that will send me to the world where these objects came from so I can find another object or objects that I don’t even know what they look like, and put them together and then something will happen. It could be good or bad, then I have to get back here and use whatever found to defeat our enemy”

Daeran was breathing deeply while Radagast started at the you elf like he was crazy. “Well ok, so you just need some extra power for the spell.”

“Yes” Radagast sighed “ok”

“But maybe we should start in the morning. It’s late and we will need as much energy as we can muster, so I think we should do it tomorrow.”

Everyone agreed and made their way towards their rooms for the night. “Do you think this is going to work?”

Daeran said turning to face Legolas. “I don’t want to have to call Gandalf, he’s busy as is.” Legolas smiled and led Daeran to their bed.

“Radagast may be a brown wizard, but that does not mean he is not powerful. You need to stop worrying and have some courage and faith that all will be well.”

Daeran knew he was right and he was upset that he let his emotions get the best of him.

“I’m sorry I seem to be all over the place tonight.” Legolas leaned down giving Daeran a kiss which he immediately accepted.

Almost desperately Daeran deepened the kiss, wrapping his arms around Legolas’s neck.

After a few minutes Legolas pulled away. “We will need our energy for tomorrow, so we best go to bed.”

Daeran pouted sticking out his bottom lip. “Ugh fine.” After the two were had changed they made their way to the bed. Legolas laid an arm over Daeran as the two drifted off to sleep.

Daeran slept in the next morning, he grogley made his way to the closet and changed his clothes.

As he made his way to the kitchens he spotted an old friend in the hall. Quietly he snuck up behind him.

“Ruith” Daeran yelled jumping on his friends back. “Ahhh” Ruit yelled as the both went crashing to the floor.

“Daeran, oh my god Daeran.” Ruith yelled as the two hugged. (Remember he was in the early chapters)“Your back, how did everything go? You aren’t hurt, you're still alive” Daeran laughed

“I missed you too.” “When did you get back.” daeran blushed “Two days ago, I’m sorry I didn’t come see you I was so busy and-”

Ruith cut him off “Im not mad or upset Dearan, I’m just glad you’re ok.” Daeran stood helping Ruith up.

“I’m headed to the kitchens, would you like to join me?” Daeran put out his elbow. Ruith laughed and looped his arm through Daeran’s. “I would love to.”

“Alma” Daeran called out as he entered the kitchen. The she-elf turned and ran towards the two.

“Oh Daeran, it’s so good to see you.” “I came down yesterday Alma, but you weren’t here” Alma smiled

“I was away yes, but I am back now and you will tell me everything that has happened.” Ruith smiled eager to hear the story as well.

After everything was told Alma and Ruith stared at Daeran open mouthed. “Wow, you really went through a lot.”

Ruith said and Alma nodded hugging Daeran again. Through the tale Alma had given Daeran some food. “So you will be leaving again soon?”

Ruith said sadly. Daeran frowned. “I should probably be going, I’ll see you later Alma. Ruith walk with me.” Daeran waved goodbye to Alma as he took Ruith’s hand leading them out of the kitchens.

“Ruith I was going to as, but would you like to come with us?” Ruith smiled “Really you would let me come?”

“Of course, I want to do this with you. Now come on their probably waiting for us.” (Ruith’s picture on top)

The two friends made their way to Lord Elrond’s office. Once inside they noticed Radagast, Legolas and Lord Elrond standing around the objects.

“About time you arrived, I was about to send a search party.” Lord Elrond said a slight smile on his face. The two friends smiled and made their way next to the others.

“Alright let’s get started” Lord Elrond began. “Daeran and Legolas will be going-”

“Actually Ada I would like to bring Ruith with us.” Daeran interrupted. If Lord Elrond was surprised he didn’t show it.

“Very well.” You three will be traveling to another world to gather the missing piece or pieces and bringing them back here. When you return we will figure out what to do.”

Everyone nodded in understanding. Daeran, Legolas, Radagast and Ruith took each other’s hands.

Daeran and Radagast chanted the spell, both calling upon their magic. Daeran could feel his energy start to drain, but he knew he couldn’t give up, not now.

After what felt like hours the room started to spin and go black. At first Daeran thought it was because he was using to much of him magic, but he would soon learn that they were traveling to a place unlike anything they seen before.

Ruith POV

I remember hitting the ground or what I assumed to be the ground rather hard. So hard in fact the air was all but knocked out of me.

I coughed violently a few times trying to regain my breath. I heard more coughing close by.

I turned legolas was there on the ground close to me. I pulled myself up into a sitting position looking at our surroundings.

We looked to be in a forest and if i’m honest it creeped me out. “Legolas where’s Daeran and Radagast?” Legolas’s head snapped around.

He quickly got up and ran a distance away. I quickly ran after him. Daeran was laying on the ground not moving. “Is he ok?” I asked kneeling beside the other blond elf.

"He’s fine, he must have just used to much energy getting us here?” The sound of someone drawing near was brought to my attention and I immediately went for the dagger at my side.

“Calm down young elf, it is only I” Radagast said. I nodded my head and shielded my dagger. Daeran slowly stood, but was unable to hold himself up for long.

“We should get moving, we don’t know where we are and it looks like night is falling” Radagast said.

I looked around, he was right, shadows were starting to appear. I looked over and noticed Legolas speaking quietly with Daeran.

My friend did not look well. He was pale and shaking slightly.

“Daeran you should allow Legolas to carry you until you gather your strength. I could see that he wanted to argue, but he nodded. Legolas helped Daeran onto his back and we made our way into the unknown.

We had been walking for a few hours now. It had only gotten a little darker which meant that it was actually probably starting to get close to the evening.

We had arrived earlier than we thought. Daeran had fallen asleep some time ago, but when he wakes I know he will be a lot better.

The forest itself didn’t seem all too strange. There weren't many animals that I could see,  but everything seemed fine so far. (Knock on wood)

We continued on our way, heading in no real direction.  I heard a small grown from behind and turned. Daeran was starting to wake. “How are you feeling?”

I asked. Daeran smiled at me. “Better, much better.” I took Daeran’s hand in mine as we continued walking. “What are we looking for?” I asked not all sure why we were here.

Daeran drew out what I knew to be a wand and a small black stone. “I found these items in Ada’s study. I know there significant, but I can't describe three feeling.

“The war, Saruman, you know anything, but we have to find the pieces first.”

“Do you know exactly where we are?” Daeran nodded “the place where Sirius was from.” I nodded my head in understanding.

It had been awhile since Sirius’s death, but Daeran still had trouble talking about him. It brought to many memories for him and sometimes he could get very depressed.

I hope that didn't happen now.
